In order to clarify the electric strength test conditions of arc-extinguishing nozzle materials, an electric strength test model of nozzle materials was established by using COMSOL finite element analysis software, and the electrostatic field distribution of the test model were calculated under different electrode shapes, environmental media, and sample thicknesses. The results show that the spherical electrodes and equal-diameter electrodes are better than non-equal-diameter electrodes, the best environmental media is transformer oil, and the sample thickness of 1 mm is better. By comparing the electric strength test results of the nozzle material samples with 1 mm of thickness in transformer oil measured with spherical electrodes and equal-diameter electrodes, it is found that the electric strength of the samples measured with spherical electrodes is higher, and the dispersion is smaller, the standard deviation is only 1.172 kV/mm. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the selection of electric strength test conditions for nozzle materials.

为了明确灭弧喷口材料电气强度的测试条件,本研究利用COMSOL有限元分析软件,建立了喷口材料电气强度测试模型,仿真计算了不同电极形状、环境介质、试样厚度下测试模型的静电场分布。结果表明:球形电极、等径电极优于非等径电极,环境介质采用变压器油最优,试样厚度采用1 mm较优。对比采用球形电极、等径电极在变压器油中对1 mm厚的喷口材料试样电气强度测试结果,采用球形电极时测得试样的电气强度较高且分散性更小,标准差仅为1.172 kV/mm。研究结果为喷口材料电气强度测试条件的选择提供了理论依据。

In order to clarify the electric strength test conditions of arc-extinguishing nozzle materials, an electric strength test model of nozzle materials was established by using COMSOL finite element analysis software, and the electrostatic field distribution of the test model were calculated under different electrode shapes, environmental media, and sample thicknesses. The results show that the spherical electrodes and equal-diameter electrodes are better than non-equal-diameter electrodes, the best environmental media is transformer oil, and the sample thickness of 1 mm is better. By comparing the electric strength test results of the nozzle material samples with 1 mm of thickness in transformer oil measured with spherical electrodes and equal-diameter electrodes, it is found that the electric strength of the samples measured with spherical electrodes is higher, and the dispersion is smaller, the standard deviation is only 1.172 kV/mm. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the selection of electric strength test conditions for nozzle materials.

在电网运行和用电调度过程中,高压开关设备承担着开断电力系统某些元件的作用,开断电流越大,电弧燃烧越强烈,电弧熄灭需要的时间就越长,电弧燃烧产生的热量和气体电离就越多,严重威胁高压开关设备的正常工作和服役寿命。高压开关设备一般通过灭弧介质和灭弧喷口来减小这种危害[1-4]
灭弧喷口作为高压开关设备灭弧装置中控制电弧、创造高速气吹条件的核心绝缘部件,在开断过程中起着极为重要的作用。随着高压开关朝高电压、大容量和小型化方向的发展,断路器断口数量的减少以及开断电弧能量的增大使其对喷口电气性能和力学性能的要求越来越高[5-6]。绝缘对电气设备至关重要,电气击穿往往会导致开关设备受到损伤,因此准确测试灭弧喷口材料的电气强度具有重要的实际意义。目前对灭弧喷口材料的耐烧蚀性[7-10]、力学性能[11-14]、制造技术[15-19]等研究较多,但对于喷口材料电气强度测试条件的研究较少,而测试条件的改变往往导致测试结果差异较大,如采用薄膜所测电气强度远高于采用薄片(1 mm厚)所测电气强度。
灭弧喷口材料电气强度测试主要依据GB/T 1408.1—2006《绝缘材料电气强度试验方法 第1部分:工频下试验》,该标准是针对固体绝缘材料工频短时电气强度测试的通用标准,推荐了固体绝缘材料电气强度测试的各种条件,但对于喷口用聚四氟乙烯类材料,各试验条件对测试结果的影响并不明确。
本文首先利用COMSOL有限元分析软件,建立灭弧喷口材料电气强度测试模型,仿真分析电极类型、试验环境、试样厚度对喷口材料电气强度测试结果的影响,并进行试验验证,为灭弧喷口材料电气强度测试条件的选择提供依据。
电气强度测试设计的电极尺寸如表1所示,仿真计算和实际测试时喷口材料试样与电极的位置关系如图1所示,仿真计算时采用的喷口材料试样尺寸为φ100 mm×1 mm、φ100 mm×2 mm、φ100 mm×4 mm共3种规格,喷口材料电气强度测试时采用的试样尺寸为φ100 mm×1 mm。
仿真计算采用COMSOL的AC/DC模块中的二维轴对称结构,网格划分采用软件预定义的超细化构建方式,最小单元尺寸为0.004 57 mm。
仿真计算时设定电极、试样的各项参数,在电极高压端施加0~30 kV的电压,得到各个电压下电场的分布。
试验用喷口材料试样由棒材机加工而得,棒材尺寸为φ120 mm×200 mm。棒材的制备流程如图2所示,首先对氮化硼、PTFE粉末分别进行预处理,以除去填料中的水分和PTFE粉末中的大尺寸聚合物;然后按设定比例,将PTFE粉末和填料氮化硼在三维混合器中混合,得到均匀的混合粉末;将混好的粉末装入钢模中,用电子压力机以一定的速率压制样品,成型压力为30~50 MPa,保持时间为3~10 min;脱模后,将样品放入烧结炉的旋转盘上进行烧结,烧结曲线如图3所示,当炉温按照设定程序降至180℃后,随炉冷却至60℃以下再打开烧结炉取出样棒。最后采用数控车床对样棒进行机加工,试样尺寸为φ100 mm×1 mm,试样形态如图4所示。
将试样、电极安装好并放置在变压器油中,采用变压器以2 kV/s的升压速率对试样施加电压,直至试样发生击穿。试样发生击穿时的施加电压与试样厚度的商即为试样的电气强度。
针对φ100 mm×1 mm尺寸的试样,在空气介质中,分别使用球电极、非等径电极、等径电极施加30 kV电压,各电极结构下的静电场分布如图5所示,其电场强度最大值依次为82.143、90.027、80.163 kV/mm。
由仿真结果可知,无论采用何种电极,其电场强度的最高点均在三相点(试样、电极和环境介质交界处)的位置,其中以不等径电极结构三相点处电场强度最高,这是因为电极表面的电场强度与其表面的电荷密度成正比,电极边缘处的曲率半径越小,电荷密度越大,故在电极边缘处场强较高。同时,采用球电极时试样上分布的电场强度与三相点处的电场强度最大值相差不大,而采用等径电极与非等径电极时试样上分布的电场强度均远低于三相点处的电场强度最大值。为了保证测试时击穿发生在试样上,需要选择电气强度较高的环境介质,如果选择的环境介质电气强度低,在测试时会发生介质比试样提前击穿的情况,不能真正考核到试样的绝缘性能。
综上,推荐使用球形电极和等径电极进行喷口材料电气强度的测试。
以球电极为例,针对φ100 mm×1 mm尺寸的试样,分别以空气、SF6、变压器油作为环境介质对喷口材料进行静电场分布测试。在施加0~30 kV电压的过程中,3种环境介质中测试装置电场最大值均在三相点处,电场最大值随施加电压的变化如图6所示。
图6可知,采用SF6和空气为环境介质时所得的电场最大值-电压关系曲线重合;同一电压下,采用变压器油为环境介质时所得的电场最大值较小,而采用空气、SF6为环境介质时所得的电场最大值较大。
对喷口材料进行电气强度测试时,如果选用试验介质的电气强度较低,喷口试样击穿之前可能发生介质的局部介电击穿,因此必须选用电气强度较高的媒介。SF6气体与变压器油的电气强度均高于空气,且空气、SF6的电气强度与气压、温度等密切相关[3,17],从操作的简便性及环保性考虑,喷口材料电气强度测试用环境介质宜采用变压器油。
以变压器油为介质,采用球电极分别对φ100 mm×1 mm、φ100 mm×2 mm、φ100 mm×4 mm尺寸的试样进行静电场分布计算。根据电场强度概念及喷口材料电气强度指标要求,若喷口材料的电气强度为30 kV/mm,则对厚度为1、2、4 mm试样分别施加30、60、120 kV的电压,各击穿电压下测试装置的静电场分布如图7所示,1 mm试样下的电场强度最大值为34.64 kV/mm;2 mm试样下的电场强度最大值为35.85 kV/mm;4 mm试样下的电场强度最大值为38.6 kV/mm。
而电气强度为材料的一种属性,随着试样厚度的增加,两电极间的距离增大,击穿电压增大,但在各击穿电压下的电场强度分布相差不大,从对试验设备参数要求及操作安全性等方面考虑,推荐使用1 mm厚的试样对喷口材料电气强度进行测试。
针对由同一批棒材制备的φ100 mm×1 mm试样,以变压器油为试验介质,以2 kV/s的升压速度,分别采用球形电极和等径电极对喷口材料进行电气强度测试,结果如表2所示。
表2可知,采用球形电极测得的电气强度高于等径电极的测试结果,且球形电极测试值的分散性相对较小。这是因为球形电极间的试样面积较小,而等径电极间的试样面积较大,试样面积越大,试样上存在缺陷的概率也越大,在电气强度测试时可能会在缺陷处发生击穿,从而导致测试结果偏低且测试结果不能真正反映材料的性能。
(1)球电极、等径电极、非等径电极下施加相同测试电压时,3种电极下静电场分布中的最大场强均在三相点处,其中以非等径电极的场强最大。
(2)采用同一种电极,以空气、SF6、变压器油作为环境介质时,其静电场分布的最大场强均在三相点处,其中以变压器油的场强最低,空气与SF6的场强较高,试验时极易导致介质先于试样击穿。
(3)击穿试验时,试样越厚,击穿所需电压越高,对试验设备要求就更高,综合考虑,推荐使用1 mm厚的试样。
(4)以变压器油为试验介质,分别采用球形电极和等径电极对1 mm厚喷口材料进行电气强度测试,球形电极测得的电气强度值偏高,相对于等径电极测得的电气强度值提高了约10%,且标准差更小,仅为1.172 kV/mm,从制样要求、测试结果稳定性方面来讲,采用球形电极更优。
