Composite insulators have been widely used in power transmission lines. In recent years, there are many grid accidents caused by insulator core rod deterioration. It is urgent to find out the influence factors and rules of composite insulator core rod deterioration. In order to study the influences of different voltage applied time and environmental humidity on the core rod deterioration of composite insulator under uniform electric field, the electric field distribution generated by the dielectric barrier discharge method was simulated and analyzed. An electrical ageing experiment platform was designed and built, and the core rod samples were conducted 200 h, 400 h, and 800 h of electrical ageing tests at power frequency under dry and humid environments. The physical and chemical properties of new sample and the aged samples were tested, and the corresponding influence laws were analyzed. The results show that after electrical ageing, the epoxy resin content in the core rod decreases. When the ageing time is less than 400 h, the epoxy resin content under humid and dry environments has little difference. When the ageing time increases to 800 h, the epoxy resin content under humid environment is significantly lower than that under dry environment.

复合绝缘子已经在输电线路中得到了大规模应用,近些年出现许多由芯棒劣化引起的电网事故,亟需探明影响复合绝缘子芯棒劣化的因素及影响规律。为了研究匀强电场下不同加压时间和湿度环境对复合绝缘子芯棒劣化的影响规律,首先仿真分析了采用介质阻挡放电方式产生的电场分布情况。设计搭建了电老化试验平台,对干燥条件和潮湿条件下芯棒试样开展200、400、800 h的工频电老化试验。对全新试样和老化试样的材料学特性进行检测,分析相应的影响规律。结果表明:经过电老化后,芯棒中的环氧树脂含量降低。当老化时间小于400 h时,潮湿与干燥条件下的环氧树脂含量差距不大,当老化时间增加到800 h时,潮湿条件下的环氧树脂含量明显低于干燥条件。

复合绝缘子已经在输电线路中得到了大规模应用,近些年出现许多由芯棒劣化引起的电网事故,亟需探明影响复合绝缘子芯棒劣化的因素及影响规律。为了研究匀强电场下不同加压时间和湿度环境对复合绝缘子芯棒劣化的影响规律,首先仿真分析了采用介质阻挡放电方式产生的电场分布情况。设计搭建了电老化试验平台,对干燥条件和潮湿条件下芯棒试样开展200、400、800 h的工频电老化试验。对全新试样和老化试样的材料学特性进行检测,分析相应的影响规律。结果表明:经过电老化后,芯棒中的环氧树脂含量降低。当老化时间小于400 h时,潮湿与干燥条件下的环氧树脂含量差距不大,当老化时间增加到800 h时,潮湿条件下的环氧树脂含量明显低于干燥条件。

Composite insulators have been widely used in power transmission lines. In recent years, there are many grid accidents caused by insulator core rod deterioration. It is urgent to find out the influence factors and rules of composite insulator core rod deterioration. In order to study the influences of different voltage applied time and environmental humidity on the core rod deterioration of composite insulator under uniform electric field, the electric field distribution generated by the dielectric barrier discharge method was simulated and analyzed. An electrical ageing experiment platform was designed and built, and the core rod samples were conducted 200 h, 400 h, and 800 h of electrical ageing tests at power frequency under dry and humid environments. The physical and chemical properties of new sample and the aged samples were tested, and the corresponding influence laws were analyzed. The results show that after electrical ageing, the epoxy resin content in the core rod decreases. When the ageing time is less than 400 h, the epoxy resin content under humid and dry environments has little difference. When the ageing time increases to 800 h, the epoxy resin content under humid environment is significantly lower than that under dry environment.

绝缘子是架空输电线路中的常用元件,对输电线起到支撑和固定的作用,使线路与杆塔、大地之间形成良好的绝缘。复合绝缘子具有高机械强度、强防污闪能力和低成本等优点,在高压与特高压输电中得到广泛应用[1-3]。芯棒是复合绝缘子中最重要的部件,起到支撑与绝缘的双重作用。据统计,近年发生的绝缘子断裂事故中,绝大部分是芯棒酥朽断裂造成的。尤其是在南方潮湿地区,酥朽断裂占据更高的比例[4-6]。因此,对复合绝缘子在潮湿环境中的老化特性进行研究,对保障电网的安全稳定运行具有重要意义[7]
国内外一些科研机构对复合绝缘子芯棒在潮湿条件下的性能进行了研究,并取得一定成果。B C RAY[8]研究了湿热条件下环氧树脂和玻璃纤维界面缺陷的发展情况,发现较高的温度能够加快材料老化过程。曾磊磊等[9]对不同加热老化时间后的芯棒进行吸湿试验,发现老化时间越长,芯棒的吸湿率与扩散系数越大。B LUTZ等[10-11]分析了南方电网多起500 kV芯棒断裂事故的原因,认为缺陷处的局部放电促进了芯棒环氧树脂的降解。张福增等[12]认为芯棒缺陷中存在的空气与水在电场的作用下会形成硝酸,进一步加快芯棒老化。
现有对芯棒老化的研究大部分集中在温度、湿度、电等单一因素的影响[13-14],对多因素的复合影响研究较少,不能深刻揭示复合绝缘子芯棒的老化机理。本文主要对湿度和工频高压双重影响下复合绝缘子芯棒的老化特性进行研究。仿真不同湿度下的电场分布,搭建电老化试验平台,通过对比不同条件下样品的扫描电镜图像、热重曲线、傅里叶红外光谱和能谱元素含量变化,得到不同时长工频高压对不同湿度复合绝缘子芯棒老化的影响规律。
为了探究湿度对芯棒附近电场分布的影响,首先对不同湿度下介质阻挡放电的电场分布进行仿真。依据表1中实际使用的电极参数在SolidWorks中建立如图1所示模型,并将其导入到ANSYS中进行仿真。
仿真时使用瞬态电场仿真模块,上电极施加峰值为17 kV的工频交流电压,下电极接地,电压设为0 V。外部环境通过更改相对介电常数分别设为干燥空气和不同湿度空气[15]
每种仿真条件下选取电流峰值时刻电极中心面上电场强度的仿真结果,同时由于电极模型为轴对称形式,可以选取电极中心面直径上的电场分布数据来近似对整个平面上的电场进行分析,仿真结果如图2所示。
图2(a)空气环境下的电场强度分布图可以发现,电场强度在中心平面上呈对称分布,电场强度最大值出现在样品与空气交界面附近。样品区域电场强度基本不变,但小于交界处。随着远离交界处,电极覆盖范围内电场强度呈线性减小,电极范围以外缓慢减小。由图2(b)不同湿度下沿中心平面直径的电场强度曲线可以发现,电场强度随着湿度变化具有很大变化,当相对介电常数小于3.6时,电场强度分布与空气中类似,最大场强出现在交界面,样品区域稍小。此时,随着湿度增加,即随着相对介电常数增大,电场强度整体呈现增大趋势,交界面处电场强度相差不大,均为4.5 kV/cm左右,但样品区域电场强度明显增大。纯空气条件下样品区域内电场强度为2.27 kV/cm,潮湿条件下(ε=2.3)电场强度为3.67 kV/cm。当相对介电常数正好为3.6时,电场强度突变现象消失。一旦相对介电常数超过3.6,电场强度最大值会出现在样品区域,相对介电常数越大,则电场强度越高,纯水时电场强度达到13.7 kV/cm。结果表明不同湿度的试验环境会对样品区域的电场产生较大影响,湿度越高,场强越大。分析仿真参数发现,相对介电常数3.6这个分界点是芯棒样品的相对介电常数值,说明当外部环境相对介电常数小于芯棒的相对介电常数时,芯棒上的电场强度较小;相反情况下,芯棒会承受更大的电场强度。
试样选用山东同金复合材料有限公司生产的直径为24 mm的耐酸芯棒,基体为环氧树脂,增强材料为玻璃纤维,拉挤成型时添加少量固化剂和偶联剂。将整根芯棒切割成2 mm厚的薄片,并用砂纸将其表面打磨均匀,得到如图3所示试样。
试验采用的电路如图4所示,其中AC为220 V工频交流电,S为开关,A为调压器,T为变压器,R为限流电阻,C为试验箱,H为加湿器。
图5为试验箱实物图,每个试验箱中包含6个等距直线排列的电极,每个电极的结构与图1中模型一致。
试验时,将工频220 V交流电压引到调压器中,调整调压器使变压器输出峰值为17 kV的工频交流电压,通过限流电阻施加到4个试验箱上。其中,2个试验箱使用干燥剂制造干燥环境,湿度为30%±3%,2个试验箱通过加湿器制造潮湿环境,湿度为90%±3%。加压时间选择200、400、800 h,每个时间点准备4个试样,以便进行后续材料性能检测。
试验结束后对加压后的各试样进行检测,同时选取同批次全新样品作为对照组。利用扫描电镜观察试样表面的微观形貌变化;通过热重分析仪分析试样中环氧树脂含量变化;通过傅里叶红外光谱仪和能谱仪分析试样中特征基团和元素的变化。
使用日本HITACHI公司的热场发射扫描电镜SU5000对试样的侧面进行分析,放大倍数为400倍时,干燥条件与潮湿条件下得到的照片分别如图6图7所示。
图6可知,干燥条件下,全新样品的表面比较光滑,玻璃纤维外均有环氧树脂严密包裹,界面结构完好,基本看不到裸露的玻璃纤维,表面存在的部分划痕应为砂纸打磨所致。加压200 h后,表层树脂开始出现降解,最外层的玻璃纤维大部分暴露在外,只有一部分还未完全降解的环氧树脂出现结块现象,但纤维之间的树脂仍连接紧密。加压400 h后,环氧树脂继续降解,此时除了玻璃纤维表面,相邻的玻璃纤维间也出现界面缺陷,同时玻璃纤维上有环氧树脂降解的颗粒状残留物出现。加压800 h后,外部玻璃纤维周边环氧树脂完全分解,在纤维上剩余大量残留物,同时降解区域向内部发展。
图7可知,潮湿环境下具有与干燥环境中类似的趋势。随着加压时间增加,树脂分解从表面向内部扩散,玻璃纤维裸露部分增加,树脂与玻璃纤维界面逐渐失效,后期甚至出现玻璃纤维断裂现象。
对比不同加压时间两种条件下的扫描电镜图可以看出,在加压400 h之内,表面的环氧树脂分解情况差距不大。但加压800 h后,潮湿条件下环氧树脂分解更快,表现在不仅表层环氧树脂完全分解,里层的环氧树脂也有很大部分开始分解,此时玻璃纤维上的环氧树脂分解残留物更多,表层的部分玻璃纤维由于缺少了环氧树脂的保护,甚至出现了断裂现象。
用锉刀取试验试样和全新试样侧表面粉末,置入美国TA仪器公司的热重分析仪TGA Q500中进行热重检测,结果如图8所示。
图8(a)可知,在350~500℃,试样的质量迅速下降,原因是此温度区间为环氧树脂的分解温度[16]。在此区间内,随着温度升高,环氧树脂降解速率加快。在500℃以后试样的质量基本不变,取800℃时残留率数据能够计算出每个样品对应的环氧树脂含量,作出图8(b)的环氧树脂含量柱状图。
分析图8(b)可知,全新的芯棒环氧树脂含量为22.46%,加压试验后样品中的环氧树脂含量均出现下降,前200 h环氧树脂含量下降最快。潮湿条件下加压800 h后的环氧树脂含量最低,为16.92%,降低了5.54%。比较相同条件下的数据发现,无论是干燥条件还是潮湿条件,随着加压时间的增加,环氧树脂含量均出现下降趋势,证明降解的环氧树脂比例增加。当加压时间相同时,前400 h两种环境下的环氧树脂含量相差不大,差距约为0.3%。但加压时间增加到800 h,潮湿环境下的环氧树脂含量明显更低,两者差距达到1.2%。说明短时间加压,外部环境湿度对环氧树脂的影响不大,但长时间加压时,环境中水汽的介入会加快环氧树脂的降解速度。
用锉刀取同样质量试验试样和全新试样侧表面粉末,与KBr粉末混合研磨压片后,使用德国Bruker公司的傅里叶红外光谱仪VERTEX70对试验试样和全新试样进行检测,得到各试样的红外吸收光谱曲线如图9所示。
图9可知,出现较大变化的吸收峰分别出现在480、1 040、1 182、1 510、1 736、2 970、3 500 cm-1附近。其中480 cm-1对应玻璃纤维中的Si-O键,1 040 cm-1和1 182 cm-1对应环氧树脂基体中的 C-O-C和C-C主链结构,1 510 cm-1、2 970 cm-1对应环氧树脂基体中的苯环和甲基,1 736 cm-1对应环氧树脂基体中的酯基C=O结构,3 500 cm-1对应O-H分子键[17]。没有新的吸收峰出现,证明没有新的化学键生成。
上述结果表明,无论干燥条件还是潮湿条件下,随着加压时间的增加,出现明显变化的吸收峰强度均降低。其中下降最多的是对应环氧树脂基体中主链结构的1 040 cm-1和1 182 cm-1处吸收峰,吸收峰强度下降了2/3。其中,前200 h吸收峰强度就下降接近一半,说明表面环氧树脂大部分在前200 h就分解了,后600 h分解了1/4。
使用日本HITACHI公司的热场发射扫描电镜SU5000配套的能谱分析仪对试验试样进行能谱分析,得到含量最多的4种元素C、O、Si、Ca含量的变化曲线,如图10所示。
图10可知,全新试样中的C元素占比最多,达到62.2%,Si和Ca的含量很少,均小于5%。由相关文献可知,样品中的C元素主要存在于环氧树脂内,O元素在环氧树脂和玻璃纤维中均存在,而Si和Ca元素主要存在于玻璃纤维内[18]
分析检测结果发现,经过加压老化,无论干燥条件还是潮湿条件下,随着加压时间的增加,C元素含量迅速减小,800 h后降低到30%以下,下降了一半多,而O、Si、Ca元素含量均呈增加趋势。证明环氧树脂随着加压时间增加而分解,被包裹的玻璃纤维暴露出来。
图10还可以看出,当加压时间为200 h时,两种试验条件下各元素含量基本相同。当加压时间为400 h时,与干燥条件相比,潮湿条件下的Si和Ca元素含量基本相同,但O元素含量更高,C元素含量更低,但相差不超过5%,这可能是在水汽的作用下产生了含氧化合物。当加压时间增加到800 h,与干燥条件相比,潮湿条件下的C含量明显更低,相差达到8.2%。潮湿条件下的O、Si、Ca元素含量高于干燥条件,分别相差3.9%、2.2%和2.3%。
结合以上各检测结果,推断在电场的作用下,芯棒发生了化学反应。首先,在放电环境下,环氧树脂中大分子聚合物分解为CO2和H2O,如反应式(1)所示。同时,分解的水与环境中的水参与环氧树脂中酯基的水解,破坏了交联网络,如反应式(2)所示。此时,环氧树脂的含量下降,玻璃纤维表面出现孔洞,形成界面缺陷,失去了保护作用。

以上两个反应式能够解释与环氧树脂相关检测结果均呈现下降趋势的原因。
其次,当最外层的环氧树脂分解后,玻璃纤维暴露在潮湿环境中,同时进行离子交换与水解反应,使得纤维断裂,如反应式(3)~(5)所示。这能够解释为何在扫描电镜照片中潮湿条件下长时间加压会出现纤维断裂。

试验中发现加压400 h以内,两种环境下芯棒参数差距不大,加压800 h后潮湿环境下各参数与干燥环境下均下降明显。分析原因可能是加压400 h以内外层环氧树脂含量较多,玻璃纤维没有大量暴露在外,因此参与反应较少。当加压时间达到800 h后,由于外层环氧树脂已经大量降解,玻璃纤维暴露在外,在电场和水汽的作用下发生了化学反应,使得纤维断裂。
(1)由不同环境下电场仿真结果可知,随着环境中湿度的增加,电场强度最大值区域由交界处转移到样品上,且数值呈增加趋势。转变的临界点为环境与试样相对介电常数相等时,本仿真中为3.6。
(2)当处于相同的环境中时,随着工频高压施加时间增加,芯棒表层环氧树脂在电与水汽的共同作用下快速降解,失去对玻璃纤维的保护作用,最终导致玻璃纤维断裂。本试验条件下,前200 h表层的大量环氧树脂已快速分解,分解比例接近一半,后600 h分解了1/4。
(3)当加压时间相同时,本试验条件下,加压400 h前干燥与潮湿条件下芯棒试样参数相差不大。加压800 h后,干燥条件下试样的各项参数明显优于潮湿条件。说明水汽能够加速芯棒的劣化,但要在累计一定时间后才会比较明显。
