A 500 kV decay-like composite insulator was conducted infrared temperature rise tests under dry conditions, 55%, 75%, 95% of ambient humidity and 3, 5, 7 m of observation distances to study the temperature rise characteristics of the decay-like composite insulator under different humidity and observation distance. The results show that the temperature rise of the decay-like composite insulator increases with the increase of ambient humidity, its temperature rise in 95% of humidity environment increase by 22%-40% compared with that under dry environment. When the humidity is constant, the temperature rise decreases with the increase of observation distance. The deteriorating section length of the core rod can be judged by the temperature rise distribution curve characteristics on the axis of decay-like composite insulator, which can realize the non-destructive detection of the deteriorating section length of decay-like insulator.

针对500 kV酥朽劣化复合绝缘子在干燥、55%、75%、95%环境湿度以及3、5、7 m观测距离下开展红外温升试验,研究不同湿度和观测距离下酥朽复合绝缘子的温升特性。结果表明:酥朽复合绝缘子的温升随环境湿度的增大整体上呈增大趋势,相较于在干燥环境下,在湿度为95%环境下其温升提高了22%~40%,且在湿度一定的情况下,温升随观测距离的增大而减小。通过酥朽复合绝缘子轴线上的温升分布曲线特征可以判断芯棒酥朽劣化段长度,实现酥朽绝缘子酥朽段长度的无损检测。

针对500 kV酥朽劣化复合绝缘子在干燥、55%、75%、95%环境湿度以及3、5、7 m观测距离下开展红外温升试验,研究不同湿度和观测距离下酥朽复合绝缘子的温升特性。结果表明:酥朽复合绝缘子的温升随环境湿度的增大整体上呈增大趋势,相较于在干燥环境下,在湿度为95%环境下其温升提高了22%~40%,且在湿度一定的情况下,温升随观测距离的增大而减小。通过酥朽复合绝缘子轴线上的温升分布曲线特征可以判断芯棒酥朽劣化段长度,实现酥朽绝缘子酥朽段长度的无损检测。

A 500 kV decay-like composite insulator was conducted infrared temperature rise tests under dry conditions, 55%, 75%, 95% of ambient humidity and 3, 5, 7 m of observation distances to study the temperature rise characteristics of the decay-like composite insulator under different humidity and observation distance. The results show that the temperature rise of the decay-like composite insulator increases with the increase of ambient humidity, its temperature rise in 95% of humidity environment increase by 22%-40% compared with that under dry environment. When the humidity is constant, the temperature rise decreases with the increase of observation distance. The deteriorating section length of the core rod can be judged by the temperature rise distribution curve characteristics on the axis of decay-like composite insulator, which can realize the non-destructive detection of the deteriorating section length of decay-like insulator.

复合绝缘子在输电领域得到了广泛的应用[1-2],但在户外高温、高湿、强电场、机械载荷等因素综合作用下复合绝缘子会出现酥朽劣化缺陷,而酥朽缺陷常伴有异常温升现象[3-4]。通过红外成像技术观测复合绝缘子的温升情况是及早发现潜在酥朽缺陷的有效手段[5-6],但复合绝缘子的温升情况易受环境湿度和观测距离的影响[7-8],因此亟需研究不同环境湿度和观测距离下酥朽复合绝缘子的温升特性。
2011年,南方电网公司在对全部挂网运行的复合绝缘子红外测温过程中发现大量220 kV和500 kV线路复合绝缘子存在异常发热现象,高压侧附近温度比中部高2~25℃[9]。绝缘电阻劣化、局部放电、水分侵入芯棒-护套界面缺陷处、伞套表面污秽等均可能使复合绝缘子异常发热[10-16]。目前,红外成像检测技术主要依靠温升的高低和面积大小来判断复合绝缘子的运行状况并制定运维策略[17],但该技术受环境因素特别是环境湿度和观测距离影响较大,从而导致检测结果与故障类型的关联度降低。
本研究针对500 kV酥朽劣化复合绝缘子在干燥、55%、75%、95%环境湿度以及3、5、7 m观测距离下开展红外温升试验,获得不同湿度和观测距离下酥朽复合绝缘子的温升特性,并通过提取复合绝缘子轴线上的温度分布,得到复合绝缘子的温升分布特征与酥朽劣化段长度的对应关系,以期为提高酥朽劣化复合绝缘子的检出率、降低漏检率、保障电网安全运行提供理论基础。
选取3支退运500 kV线路酥朽复合绝缘子在不同湿度和观测距离下开展红外温升试验,试品具体参数如表1所示。该批劣化复合绝缘子运行约10年,已严重劣化,高压端附近伞套均存在不同程度的老化发硬、粉化开裂现象,且芯棒质地变酥、形如枯木。1#绝缘子的外观如图1所示。
在人工气候室内开展复合绝缘子温升试验,气候室尺寸为10 m×5 m×3 m,相对湿度在30%~95%连续可调,误差为±5%,湿度可在30 min内达到稳定值。受空间限制,复合绝缘子试品水平放置,高压端由绝缘支架支撑,低压端延伸至人工气候室外,试品整体悬空离地1.3 m,试验布置如图2所示。
使用FLIR-E60型手持式红外成像仪记录复合绝缘子的温升情况,红外成像仪的分辨率为320×240像素,焦距为18 mm,像元间距为25 μm,测量温度范围为-20~120℃,设置红外成像仪发射率为90%。
试验步骤如下:①试验前,将复合绝缘子试品放置于人工气候室内,调节气候室内湿度至设定值并稳定30 min,使气候室内湿度均匀分布;②在湿度分别为干燥(未加雾,环境湿度为30%±5%)、55%、75%和95%环境下,对复合绝缘子试品施加工频电压,每15 min记录一次试品温升,加压60 min后试品温升达到稳定,此时在3、5、7 m观测距离下分别记录试品的温升情况。
为了便于定量分析酥朽复合绝缘子的温升特征,本研究从红外图像中提取试品的温度信息,考虑到环境温度差异,根据DL/T 664—2016[18]对温度数据进行处理,通过式(1)式(2)得到试品的最大温升值和温升曲线。

式(1)~(2)中:T1为试品加压60 min后的最高温度,K;T0为环境温度下参照体的温度,即同一支试品上未发热部位的温度,K;ΔT为试品加压60 min后轴线上单个像素点的温升值,K;Ti为试品加压60 min后轴线上单个像素点的温度,K。
加压60 min后温升稳定,不同湿度和观测距离下3支试品的温升情况如图3所示。由图3可知,各观测距离下3支酥朽复合绝缘子的温升均随环境湿度的增大整体上呈增大趋势。在3 m观测距离下,1#试品的最大温升出现在75%湿度下,最大温升为26.6 K,比干燥环境下增大了22%;2#和3#试品的最大温升均出现在95%湿度下,最大温升分别为17.5 K和10.8 K,较干燥环境下分别增大了40%和35%。分析其原因为空气中的水分从护套开裂处侵入绝缘子内部,由于水分子为极性分子,在交变电场作用下产生有损极化损耗,从而使复合绝缘子温升增大。
另外,由于1#试品高压端附近护套大面积脱落,酥朽芯棒直接裸露在外,在湿度超过75%时,环境湿度加快了芯棒的散热,进而使该支复合绝缘子在湿度超过75%后温升呈现饱和甚至略微下降的趋势。
由此可见,适当提高环境湿度,可使酥朽劣化复合绝缘子的温升现象更加明显,更有利于对早期酥朽劣化复合绝缘子进行筛查。
以干燥和95%湿度环境为例,3支酥朽复合绝缘子温升随观测距离的变化曲线如图4所示。由图4可知,在干燥和95%湿度环境下,3支试品的温升均随观测距离增大而减小,其中干燥条件下,1#、2#和3#试品在7 m观测距离的温升较3 m观测距离分别减小了12%、41%和29%;95%湿度条件下,1#、2#和3#试品在7 m观测距离的温升较3 m观测距离分别减小了11%、23%和21%。这是由于受红外成像仪分辨率的限制,观测距离越远,被测对象的清晰度越低,同时红外光在空气中传输的距离越远衰减越大,使得红外成像仪观测到的复合绝缘子温升随观测距离增大而线性减小。
综上所述,实际运检过程中,在保证安全距离的前提下,应尽量近距离检测待检试品的温升情况,进而减小距离因素和设备参数限制带来的观测误差影响。
以3 m、7 m观测距离,干燥和95%环境湿度条件为例,提取3支酥朽复合绝缘子试品沿串轴线上的温度分布,对其温升梯度特性进行分析。由于3支试品的温升区域均集中在高压端附近,因此本研究针对试品高压端25片伞裙前的温升分布进行分析,加压60 min时3支试品的温升梯度特征曲线如图56所示。
图56可以看出,由于伞裙的遮挡作用,沿绝缘子串温升呈现高低交替的趋势,其中温升较高的部分,即波峰部分为伞裙间的护套段,温升降低的部分,即波谷部分为伞裙段。通过观测波峰和波谷的分布情况,可以看出1#试品的温升区域主要集中在前6片伞裙以及11~13片伞裙处,2#试品的温升区域主要集中在前4片伞裙以及12~17片伞裙处,3#号试品的温升区域主要集中在前4片伞裙以及8~13片伞裙处。1#试品温升区域末端的最高温升点出现在第11~12片伞裙处;2#试品温升区域末端最高温升点出现在15~16片伞裙处;3#试品温升区域末端最高温升点出现在11~12片伞裙处。3 m、7 m观测距离和干燥、95%湿度环境下3支试品温升区域末端的最高温升点温升如表2所示。对比表2可以看出,虽然观测距离以及环境湿度对温升区域的分布情况未产生影响,但7 m观测距离以及干燥环境下温升区域末端的温升幅度不如3 m观测距离以及95%湿度环境下。
后续通过对3支试品解剖检查发现,1#试品芯棒从高压端金具开始酥朽劣化,发展至第11、12片伞裙之间,2#试品芯棒的劣化段发展至第15、16片伞裙,3#试品芯棒的劣化段发展至第11、12片伞裙之间。由此分析得出,可通过酥朽复合绝缘子轴线上的温升曲线特征判断芯棒酥朽劣化段发展的位置,而无需将复合绝缘子解剖查看,从而实现酥朽绝缘子酥朽段长度的无损检测,避免了大量人力物力的浪费。
针对3支500 kV酥朽复合绝缘子开展了不同湿度和观测距离下的红外温升试验,主要得到以下结论:
(1)酥朽复合绝缘子的温升现象在高湿环境下更加明显,且温升随环境湿度增大整体上呈增大趋势。因此适当提高环境湿度有利于酥朽劣化复合绝缘子的检测,降低漏检率。
(2)一定环境湿度下,酥朽复合绝缘子的温升随观测距离增大而减小。因此实际运检过程中,在综合考虑红外设备参数限制、外界环境因素以及绝缘子伞裙干扰,同时保证安全距离的前提下,适当拉近观测距离,可一定程度上减小距离因素带来的观测误差。
(3)可通过酥朽复合绝缘子轴线上的温升曲线特征判断芯棒酥朽劣化段发展的位置,而无需将复合绝缘子解剖查看,从而实现酥朽绝缘子酥朽段长度的无损检测。
