In this paper, a photoelectric joint detection system composed of a photomultiplier tube and an electric field sensor was used to carry out the discharge tests of ball-plate electrode gap with burr of different gap distances under positive switching impulse voltage. Compared with the discharge tests of the rod-plate and that of ball plate, the 50% discharge voltage(U50%) and the physical characteristic parameters under the initial streamer were obtained and compared. The results show that in the ball-plate electrode gap with burr defects, the initial delay, the field strength jump value, and the light power jump value of the initial streamer are positively correlated; in the initial stage of streamer, the burr can shorten the initial delay of discharge, especially for short gap. After the initial streamer developing, the development law of initial streamer of ball-plate electrode with burr is similar to that of rod-plate electrode gap, and the burr aggravates the development of discharge. For the whole discharge process, the burr defect will greatly reduce the discharge voltage of the ball-plate electrode, so that it is close to the discharge voltage of the rod-plate electrode gap under the same clearance.

利用由光电倍增管和电场传感器组成的光电联合检测系统,进行正极性操作冲击电压下不同距离间隙带毛刺球-板电极间隙放电试验,并以棒-板与球-板放电试验进行对照,得到初始流注下的50%放电电压(U50%)和物理特征参数并进行对比。结果表明:在带有毛刺缺陷的球-板电极间隙中,初始流注起始时延、初始流注场强跃升幅值和光功率跃升幅值呈正相关;在流注起始时,毛刺的存在能够缩短放电起始时延,其中对于短间隙最明显;而流注开始发展后带毛刺球-板电极间隙初始流注的发展规律与棒-板电极间隙初始流注相近,毛刺的存在加剧了放电的发展。对于整个放电过程而言,毛刺缺陷会大幅降低球-板电极间隙放电电压,使其临近同等间隙下棒-板电极间隙放电电压。

利用由光电倍增管和电场传感器组成的光电联合检测系统,进行正极性操作冲击电压下不同距离间隙带毛刺球-板电极间隙放电试验,并以棒-板与球-板放电试验进行对照,得到初始流注下的50%放电电压(U50%)和物理特征参数并进行对比。结果表明:在带有毛刺缺陷的球-板电极间隙中,初始流注起始时延、初始流注场强跃升幅值和光功率跃升幅值呈正相关;在流注起始时,毛刺的存在能够缩短放电起始时延,其中对于短间隙最明显;而流注开始发展后带毛刺球-板电极间隙初始流注的发展规律与棒-板电极间隙初始流注相近,毛刺的存在加剧了放电的发展。对于整个放电过程而言,毛刺缺陷会大幅降低球-板电极间隙放电电压,使其临近同等间隙下棒-板电极间隙放电电压。

In this paper, a photoelectric joint detection system composed of a photomultiplier tube and an electric field sensor was used to carry out the discharge tests of ball-plate electrode gap with burr of different gap distances under positive switching impulse voltage. Compared with the discharge tests of the rod-plate and that of ball plate, the 50% discharge voltage(U50%) and the physical characteristic parameters under the initial streamer were obtained and compared. The results show that in the ball-plate electrode gap with burr defects, the initial delay, the field strength jump value, and the light power jump value of the initial streamer are positively correlated; in the initial stage of streamer, the burr can shorten the initial delay of discharge, especially for short gap. After the initial streamer developing, the development law of initial streamer of ball-plate electrode with burr is similar to that of rod-plate electrode gap, and the burr aggravates the development of discharge. For the whole discharge process, the burr defect will greatly reduce the discharge voltage of the ball-plate electrode, so that it is close to the discharge voltage of the rod-plate electrode gap under the same clearance.

随着我国输电线路电压等级逐年提高,充分研究特高压工程间隙的放电特性是保证输电线路安全可靠的关键[1-4]。直流换流站阀厅作为高压直流输电工程中最重要的一环,担负着交直流相互转换的重要任务。阀厅内高压设备通过连接金具实现电气连接,阀厅金具组成的不同距离的放电间隙直接影响整个阀厅中的电场分布。而且由于阀厅实际情况的差异,可能存在不同间隙距离的放电,导致放电过程也不尽相同。因此,对不同尺度间隙放电过程进行试验观测,进而深入分析放电机理一直是国内外学者关注的重点[5]
Les Renardieres Group[6-8]经过长间隙放电试验将放电过程分为4部分:初始流注、暗期、先导和末跃击穿。初始流注是长、短空气间隙放电均具备的第一个阶段,初始流注的发展经历各种电离过程的发生、发展和停止等过程[9-10],目前的研究中对单一间隙距离放电研究较多。文献[11]以短间隙为研究对象,对初始流注产生后放电区域内、外的电场强度进行测量。文献[12]对长空气间隙施加雷电冲击电压,分析有流注出现时间隙中电场的时空变化。文献[13]实现了短间隙气体放电仿真,对放电电流和流注发展速度两种放电物理特征参数对流注发展的影响进行分析。文献[14]运用光电联合检测系统,对正极性标准操作冲击电压下10 cm带毛刺球-球间隙的瞬时光功率、空间电场和接地极放电电流进行联合观测,可判断流注的起始时刻以及流注电离的剧烈程度。文献[15]结合传统流注放电理论,描述了流注区电场跃升的过程及长间隙放电的随机性。在实际应用中存在电极结构各异、大型试验布置复杂问题,并不能覆盖所有试验类型,因此通过适当的测量手段,对比分析不同距离的间隙放电过程中各特征参数的变化尤为重要,而电极类型的选择在间隙放电试验中极为关键。
阀厅金具几何结构多样,其中均压屏蔽球与接地体组成的空气间隙与球-板电极结构相似。文献[16]对直流导线和阀厅金具的电晕起始电压进行了预测,文献[17-19]针对阀厅内部典型空气间隙开展操作冲击放电试验,获得了不同距离空气间隙对应的50%操作冲击放电电压。文献[20-21]针对阀厅内部典型空气间隙开展操作冲击放电试验,获得了不同空气间隙距离d对应的50%操作冲击放电电压。上述研究由于考虑的是整个阀厅中球-板间隙表面电场分布和放电特性,均压屏蔽球表面均处理光滑,没有考虑到球电极表面毛刺缺陷特点对其放电特性的影响。
为了研究不同间隙距离毛刺缺陷对放电特性的影响,本研究利用光电倍增管(photomultiplier tube,PMT)、光电集成电场传感器等设备搭建光电联合测量系统,进行了5 cm、3 m间隙下的带有毛刺缺陷的球-板电极间隙操作冲击放电试验,并以棒-板电极与球-板电极间隙放电试验进行对照。通过对5 cm和3 m间隙带毛刺球-板电极初始流注起始时延、初始流注电场跃升幅值和光功率跃升幅值进行统计,分析放电特征参数之间的关系,研究带有毛刺缺陷的球-板电极的放电特征;最后将不同间隙距离下毛刺对于放电过程中流注起始时刻阶段,流注发展阶段的影响进行对比分析,得出毛刺缺陷对不同间隙距离放电的作用规律。
搭建光电联合系统检测平台,使用基于Mach-Zehnder[22-23]原理的光电集成电场传感器作为空间电场测量装置用于采集空间电场信号。该装置的场强测量范围为0~800 kV/m,分辨率为0.3 V/m。采用型号为H10721-210的PMT,该装置的波长采集范围为230~700 nm,积分时间为10 ns。由于流注发光的光谱绝大部分位于300~400 nm区域内[24],使用该装置可以准确快速对瞬时光功率信号进行采集。平台使用的示波器(Teledyne Lecroy 3024型)灵敏度为1 mV/div~1 V/div,用于读取所测电场和光功率波形和幅值。
对带毛刺球-板电极间隙进行试验布置,如图1所示。空气间隙距离d=5 cm时,球电极直径D=13 cm,毛刺长度l=3 cm,板电极尺寸为30 cm×30 cm;光纤横置在距间隙轴线13 cm处,试验过程中将电场传感器探头和光电倍增管尾纤固定在光纤上,距离板电极高度为4 cm;d=3 m时,球电极直径D=1.3 m,毛刺长度l=5 cm,板电极尺寸为11 m×11 m。长间隙试验布置电场传感器距电极轴线3 m,距地2.8 m,光电倍增管距电极轴线1.5 m、距地2.8 m。5 cm和3 m空气间隙毛刺缺陷的曲率半径均为0.5 mm并保持板电极接地。试验过程中为保证无外界光源的影响,选择在室内无光条件下进行。
试验采用的50%操作冲击放电电压(U50%)按照GB/T 16927.1—2011和GB/T 16927.2—2013规定的试验和测量方法进行测量。
采用升降法求取50%放电电压U50%,计算公式为式(1)

式(1)中:Ui为施加的电压,kV;ni为相同的施加电压Ui下试验的次数;n为有效试验的总次数。
试验的标准偏差σ按照式(2)计算。

每次试验前后,均需要记录大气压强、温度和相对湿度等气象条件,并采用GB/T 16927.1—2011推荐的g参数法校正到标准气象条件下。
当球电极表面存在毛刺缺陷时较易发生起晕[25-26],特补充开展不同间隙距离下放电过程观测,以获取其放电电压下降机制,从而判断毛刺对放电过程的影响。
分别对5 cm和3 m带毛刺球-板电极空气间隙多次施加50%操作冲击放电电压(U50%)为81 kV和1 611 kV的正极性标准操作冲击电压,使用光电联合检测系统进行放电观测。在进行多次试验后对采集波形进行对比,选取长、短间隙放电过程中空间场强与瞬时光功率的典型特性曲线如图2所示。图2中,T1表示3 m间隙初始流注起始时刻;T2表示3 m间隙暗期起始时刻;T3表示3 m间隙先导起始时刻;T1′表示5 cm间隙初始流注起始时刻;T2′表示5 cm间隙暗期起始时刻;T3′表示5 cm间隙二次流注起始时刻。
图2可以看出,3 m间隙中,当T1=80.7 μs时,光电倍增管检测到712.48 pW的光信号;场强传感器检测到了2.02 kV/m的空间电场跃升。随着加压时间的增加,外加电压上升,间隙场强逐渐升高,当达到初始流注起始场强,初始流注起始,空间中的粒子电离为正电荷和自由电子,同时释放光子,PMT检测到光功率脉冲。电离产生的正电荷质量过大,在空间中移动缓慢会滞留在间隙中,而电子质量较小,其受到电场力的作用会迅速向正电极方向移动,而后通过流注汇入球电极的毛刺凸起,致使空间场强出现跃升。当T2=86.3 μs时,PMT测得的瞬时光功率降低为0同时电场跃升结束。初始流注过程产生的正空间电荷削弱了毛刺球电极周围空间电场,电离过程停滞,致使初始流注发展停滞。此后空间中不再释放出光子,放电进入到暗期阶段。当T3=94.5 μs时,PMT第二次检测到脉冲。在3 m间隙中,经过暗期中能量的驰豫过程,中性分子温度能够升高至1 500 K[27]以致完成流注向先导的转化,但由于毛刺球电极附近的电场被抑制,先导不会立刻发展。等到正空间电荷逐渐消散恢复空间电场,暗期结束后,T3时刻先导开始发展。
5 cm带毛刺球-板电极间隙的放电过程在初始流注阶段与3 m间隙相近,亦为光电联合检测系统同时检测到了电场与光跃升,随着流注的发展,空间中的正电荷抑制了流注的发展,随后放电过程进入暗期。但5 cm间隙距离过小,发生初始流注起始所需的电压较低,其电离过程产生的自由电子数较少,因此在暗期中作用于气体温度上升的电子也相应减少,暗期中提供的能量无法使流注茎达到临界温度(1500 K)形成先导。因此经过暗期后,在T3′=115.2 μs时,5 cm间隙中PMT再次检测到光信号,随着外加电压的升高,流注前方的空间正电荷进行漂移和扩散,短间隙放电将以二次流注形式继续发展。
为了探究不同间隙距离下的放电规律,分别对多次试验得到的5 cm和3 m带毛刺球-板电极间隙50%闪络概率下的初始流注起始时延(ΔT)、电场跃升(ΔE)和光功率跃升幅值(ΔP)进行统计并对比分析,参数曲线如图3所示。从图3可以得出,在5 cm和3 m带毛刺球-板电极间隙中,光功率跃升幅值的增大都伴随着电场跃升幅值的增大。外加电压产生足够多的有效自由电子后,流注起始,在流注发展过程中,碰撞电离产生的净正电荷滞留在空间中,同时释放出光子,导致电场和光功率的跃升。初始流注起始时延越大,代表此时流注起始时外加电压较大,有效自由电子较多,碰撞电离的过程更剧烈,产生的正电荷和释放出的光子数较多,导致电场和光功率跃升值升高。5 cm和3 m间隙规律一致,流注起始时延、初始流注光功率跃升与空间电场跃升幅值呈正相关的关系。
毛刺缺陷会影响球电极局部结构的曲率使其电极类型发生改变,为了能够定性、定量地考量毛刺缺陷这种特殊结构对间隙放电特性的影响,基于前文搭建的光电联合检测系统,分别开展了5 cm短间隙、3 m长间隙下典型的棒-板电极、球-板电极的正极性操作冲击电压U50%放电对比试验,比较毛刺球-板电极与上述两种电极类型在流注过程中的关键物理特征参量的差异。在不同间隙距离及电极类型条件下进行重复放电试验,每组试验之间保持足够的时间间隔,确保放电结束后空间电荷消散完全,消除其对下次放电过程的干扰。
对每组间隙类型试验都进行多次操作冲击放电试验,测得5 cm和3 m间隙不同电极布置下初始流注的起始时延、电场跃升幅值、光功率跃升幅值的平均值和U50%表1所示。
在不同间隙距离及电极类型下进行放电观测过程中,发现对5 cm间隙球-板电极多次施加81 kV的标准操作冲击电压进行放电试验,其放电发展过程出现不同于其他间隙放电的情况:在初始流注阶段,电场传感器可以检测到电场跃升,但光电倍增管只观测到极小的光功率跃升。这是由于球-板电极较为均匀,起晕位置的随机性较大,而光信号受制于光电倍增管狭缝布置位置,当流注起始时,空间场强已经发生畸变,但非球电极端部起晕情况下,采集到的光功率较低。因此为了保证特征参量的可比性,对于5 cm间隙球-板电极间隙只讨论其电场跃升特性。
在气体放电过程中,初始流注起始时延能够反映流注起始阶段有效电子的积累效率,电场跃升幅值及光功率跃升幅值能够反映流注的发展过程。通过3.1中进行的重复对比试验,对表1中的数据进行归一化,以全面、直观地显示带毛刺球-板电极与典型传统电极的放电过程差异特性,结果如表2所示。
对于初始流注的起始特性,毛刺的存在对球-板电极间隙的影响在不同间隙距离下表现不同。由表1表2可知,在5 cm间隙下,带毛刺球-板电极间隙的初始流注起始时延远小于棒-板电极间隙,二者表现出较大的差异性。由于毛刺缺陷与球电极共同作为正电极,在间隙距离很小时,毛刺部分改变正电极整体曲率半径的程度较大。由于毛刺头部的曲率半径远小于棒电极,随着时间的推移,带毛刺球-板电极间隙能够很快达到初始流注起始场强并能够较快地形成足够多的有效自由电子,使得初始流注快速起始;而在3 m间隙下,棒-板电极间隙和带毛刺球-板电极间隙的初始流注起始时延分别比球-板电极间隙减小了约69.6%和58.5%,带有毛刺缺陷的球-板电极间隙与棒-板电极间隙的流注起始特性表现出较明显的相似特征,与球-板电极间隙表现出较大的差异。在3 m间隙下,球电极的曲率半径最大,支撑其放电起始需要足够多的能量,但毛刺可以减小球电极表面的曲率半径,使得所需的初始流注起始场强降低,间隙中的有效自由电子数减少,加速了初始流注的起始,但影响程度较弱,未能快于棒-板间隙电极。可见毛刺的存在能够缩短初始流注放电起始时延,其中对于短空气间隙更明显。
当流注开始发展后,毛刺球-板电极间在不同间隙距离下初始流注的发展规律相近。由表1表2可知,对于5 cm间隙,毛刺球-板电极的电场跃升幅值已经趋向于棒-板电极间隙;而棒-板电极间隙的光功率幅值与带毛刺球-板电极间隙相似,说明在初始流注起始后,放电过程产生了近乎同样数量级的净空间正电荷并释放出相应数量的光子,造成了等幅的电场强度及光功率跃升。毛刺的存在加剧了放电的发展,使得带毛刺球-板电极间隙与棒-板电极间隙流注的发展特征类似;在3 m间隙中,带毛刺球-板电极间隙的初始流注光功率和电场跃升幅值较球-板电极间隙分别减小了约34.9%和75.3%;棒-板电极间隙的光功率与电场跃升幅值较球-板电极间隙减小了约44.4%和93.6%,带毛刺球-板电极间隙与棒-板电极间隙流注的发展规律亦相近,这是由于毛刺的存在明显加剧了放电的发展。
在多次击穿发生后,对电压进行统计,测得的不同间隙距离下不同电极的U50%表1表2所示:在5 cm和3 m间隙中,球-板电极间隙的U50%最大,带毛刺球-板电极间隙的U50%次之,棒-板电极间隙的U50%最小。以球-板电极间隙的U50%为基准,当球电极表面光滑时,5 cm间隙和3 m间隙下的U50%比棒-板电极间隙分别高了84.2%与66.7%;而当球电极表面存在毛刺时,5 cm间隙和3 m间隙下的U50%分别比棒-板电极间隙高了2.4%与1.5%,屏蔽球表面存在毛刺会改变高压电极表面状态,使得毛刺局部放电不均匀度大幅增大。球表面电极存在毛刺会大幅降低放电电压,临近同等间隙下棒-板电极间隙放电电压。
(1)在不同间隙距离下,带毛刺球-板电极间隙中初始流注起始时延、初始流注电场跃升幅值均与初始流注光功率跃升成正相关。
(2)流注起始时,3 m间隙中棒-板电极间隙和带毛刺球-板电极间隙的初始流注起始时延分别比球-板电极间隙减小了约69.6%和58.5%,间隙距离较长时,毛刺的存在使球-板电极间隙的初始流注起始时延趋近于同等间隙距离下的棒-板电极间隙。5 cm间隙中带毛刺球-板电极间隙的起始时延远小于棒-板电极间隙。毛刺的存在能够缩短放电起始时延,其中对于短间隙最明显。
(3)流注开始发展后,带毛刺球-板电极间隙的光功率与电场跃升幅值更接近于棒-板电极间隙,表明带毛刺球-板初始流注的发展规律与棒-板电极相近,毛刺的存在加剧了放电的发展;试验多次击穿发生后,对于U50%,当球电极表面光滑时,5 cm间隙和3 m间隙下的U50%比棒-板电极间隙分别升高了84.2%与66.7%,而当球电极表面存在毛刺时,5 cm间隙和3 m间隙下的U50%分别比棒-板电极间隙升高2.4%与1.5%,球表面电极存在毛刺会大幅降低放电电压。综上,毛刺的存在促进了放电过程的发展,而且会大幅降低球-板电极间隙放电电压,使其临近同等间隙下棒-板电极间隙放电电压。
