Natural ester is an environmentally friendly liquid dielectric with high fire point, which is mainly used in power equipment such as transformer. Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is one of the most effective ways for transformer fault diagnosis. At present, there are some research results on the monitoring of dissolved gas in natural ester insulating oil. In this paper, the research progresses of the dissolved gas in natural ester insulating oil were introduced generally, and the key problems that should be paid attention to in the future application of natural ester insulating oil were pointed out.

天然酯绝缘油是一种高燃点的环保液体电介质,主要应用于变压器等电力设备中。油中溶解气体分析(DGA)是变压器故障诊断最有效的方式之一。关于天然酯绝缘油的油中溶解气体监测目前已有一定的研究成果,本文对天然酯绝缘油在油中溶解气体方面的研究进展进行了总体介绍,指出了天然酯绝缘油在未来应用中应注意的关键问题。

Natural ester is an environmentally friendly liquid dielectric with high fire point, which is mainly used in power equipment such as transformer. 天然酯绝缘油自20世纪90年代逐渐进入人们的视野,相对于矿物绝缘油,其具有高防火性能、高环保性能和可延长绝缘纸老化寿命等优点。天然酯绝缘油主要作为液体绝缘介质应用于液浸式变压器中,迄今为止,在全球已成功在超过200万台变压器中取得应用,最高电压等级达到420 kV[1]。近年来,国内西电西变、正泰电气、特变电工、山东电工、武汉ABB等变压器企业也生产出了大型电力天然酯变压器,最高电压等级达到330 kV,其中110 kV及220 kV电压等级的天然酯变压器已在菏泽、广州、宁波等地挂网运行。
随着大型天然酯电力变压器在国内投入应用,迫切需要有力的监测手段对其进行状态评估、故障预警、故障分析等工作。油中溶解气体分析(dissolved gas analysis,DGA)是对运行中变压器监测、预警、故障分析的最有力手段之一。因此,针对传统矿物油变压器的DGA诊断方法对天然酯绝缘油变压器的稳定运行也具备重要作用。然而,由于天然酯变压器的应用年限较短,应用量暂时无法与矿物绝缘油相比,运行中天然酯变压器的DGA诊断方法尚未达到完全成熟阶段。
天然酯绝缘油灌注于液浸式变压器中,与传统矿物绝缘油相同,当变压器发生故障时,在电场和热场的作用下,天然酯绝缘油及绝缘纸会产生少量低分子烃类气体以及一氧化碳和二氧化碳气体。这些故障气体会溶解在绝缘油中,通过气相色谱等检测手段,可以查明故障气体的种类和含量,进而分析出天然酯变压器的运行状态,对变压器的故障进行预判,分析出变压器的故障等。
本文简要介绍天然酯绝缘油油中溶解气体的研究现状。
天然酯绝缘油的主要成分为甘油三酯,分子可看作由甘油与链长为12~22的脂肪酸组合而成,尤其以链长为18的脂肪酸为主,天然酯的分子通式如图1所示,图中R′、R′′和R′′′代表相同或不同结构的脂肪酸。目前应用最普遍的天然酯绝缘油主要为大豆油、菜籽油及葵花籽油等,其分子中含有的典型脂肪酸含量如表1所示。表1中的碳链:双键表示碳链长度及分子中含有的C=C双键数量。
矿物绝缘油的主要成分为烃类,包括环烷烃、直链烷烃、支链烷烃及芳香烃类等,由于分子结构的不同,天然酯绝缘油与矿物绝缘油在产气数量和产气比例上存在一定区别,但是两者的产气种类完全一致,均为氢气(H2)、一氧化碳(CO)、二氧化碳(CO2)、甲烷(CH4)、乙炔(C2H2)、乙烯(C2H4)和乙烷(C2H6)。
不饱和脂肪酸酯可以被氧化生成过氧化物,过氧化物可以进一步分解酯分子中的部分脂肪酸,如天然酯绝缘油中所含的亚麻酸脂肪酸可生成过氧化物,并进一步反应生成乙烷,如图2所示[2]。大豆基及菜籽基天然酯绝缘油的亚麻酸含量较高,因而在正常工作条件下更容易形成C2H6
在常温下,该反应即可正常进行产生乙烷,且乙烷的产率随温度的升高而增加。乙烷的总产量受氧、光和热的共同作用影响。由于光子可激发单线态氧的产生,促进脂肪酸的氧化形成不稳定的过氧化物,因此天然酯绝缘油容易受紫外线的作用而产生杂质气体,必须存放在阴凉避光处。
天然酯在加热时,酯链的烃类部分、酯和酸官能团以及来自特定脂肪酸基团的氧化产物均会受热分解而产生气体[2]
天然酯主要的热解反应之一是甘油三酯分解成两种游离脂肪酸、丙烯醛和来自第三种脂肪酸的烯酮,如式(1)所示。

根据文献[3-4]的数据,天然酯绝缘油在热故障条件下酸值的升高幅度远高于矿物绝缘油,气相色谱-质谱(GC-MS)分析证明了热故障后天然酯绝缘油中脂肪酸、烯酮和丙烯醛的存在,验证了这一反应的发生。
甘油三酯的热分解产物会进一步反应,其中脂肪酸会进一步热分解产生二氧化碳及烃类、一氧化碳和醛类、二氧化碳和酮类,如式(2)~(4)所示。生成的酮类可进一步热分解产生烃类、一氧化碳及乙烯,如式(5)所示。烯酮可进一步热分解生成一氧化碳及烯烃,如式(6)所示。丙烯醛可进一步热分解生成一氧化碳及乙烯,如式(7)所示。

由式(1)~(7)可见,天然酯在热分解后会产生大量的一氧化碳及二氧化碳,且一氧化碳较二氧化碳更多,同时会产生大量的乙烯。文献[3-4]通过DGA试验和GC-MS检测证实了这些反应的有效性。
天然酯分子中脂肪酸链段的碳链部分与矿物油的烃类结构非常相似,会发生类似的分解反应,如式(8)~(12)所示。其中式(9)反应生成乙烯,式(10)反应生成甲烷、乙烷及乙烯,式(12)反应生成乙炔。

由式(8)~(12)可见,氢气的产出量较烃类气体更高,乙烯的产出量也较高,式(9)式(10)均可产生乙烯,而式(5)式(7)表明,乙烯的产量应低于一氧化碳,因而如果乙烯的产量高于一氧化碳,则证明式(9)式(10)的反应活跃度很高。此外,以上反应中能产生甲烷和乙烷的反应均只有1个。
在较高的温度条件下,天然酯中生成甲烷和乙烷的含量接近,但在矿物绝缘油中两者的差异较大。这可能是由于矿物油的碳链较短而天然酯碳链较长导致的。
变压器的内部故障主要分为热故障和电故障,其中热故障根据油温不同分为低温热故障T1(油温为150~300℃)、中温热故障T2(油温为300~700℃)和高温热故障T3(油温高于700℃);电故障根据放电能量不同可划分为局部放电PD(放电能量<103 pC)、低能放电D1(放电能量>2×104 pC)和高能放电D2(放电能量>106 pC)。
国内外学者对不同油基天然酯绝缘油的热故障进行了大量的研究,袁帅等[5]研究了大豆基天然酯绝缘油在200~700℃下产生的油中溶解气体,认为C2H6、CO及CO2是大豆基天然酯绝缘油的特征气体。LIU Y等[6]研究了大豆基及山茶花基绝缘油在90~800℃下的油中溶解气体,结果表明C2H6是大豆及山茶花基绝缘油的特征气体,但山茶花基绝缘油中H2的含量远高于大豆基绝缘油。N A MUHAMAD等[7]研究了大豆基天然酯绝缘油的油中溶解气体,也发现C2H6是特征气体。WANG Z等[8]研究了大豆基天然酯绝缘油中高温热故障下的气体产量,发现大豆基天然酯绝缘油在中温(300~400℃)过热故障下的特征气体为C2H6、CO及CO2。N A GÓMEZ等[9]研究表明,在玉米、葵花籽及大豆基天然酯绝缘油中,大豆基天然酯绝缘油在热故障下生成的C2H6更多。B MATHARAGE等[10]研究了椰子油的热故障产气特性,发现椰子油热故障下产生的CH4和C2H6多于矿物绝缘油,其余气体含量与矿物绝缘油中的相当。K BANDARA等[11]研究了葵花籽基天然酯绝缘油的热故障产气特性,发现乙烯是其特征气体。党剑亮等[12]研究了菜籽油的热故障气体,研究表明,当温度高于800℃时,菜籽油中才会产生C2H2。K BANDARA等[13]研究了天然酯绝缘油在热老化过程中的气体含量,发现C2H6是其老化过程中的主要产物。张召涛[14]研究了大豆油和菜籽油的热故障气体,发现在低温热故障下,天然酯绝缘油的特征气体为C2H6,而矿物绝缘油的特征气体为CH4;中温热故障下,依然保持此规律;当温度高于600℃时,矿物绝缘油中开始产出C2H2;当温度高于700℃时,大豆油才开始产出C2H2,而即使温度达到800℃,茶籽油中也没有C2H2产出。C PERRIER等[15]研究表明,热故障下矿物绝缘油的CH4含量要高于天然酯绝缘油。蔡胜伟等[16]研究了天然酯绝缘油热老化过程中的气体含量,发现天然酯绝缘油的产气速率高于矿物绝缘油,且产生较多的C2H6、CO和CO2
文献[2]给出了数种天然酯绝缘油、合成酯绝缘油及矿物油在各种温度条件下的产气特性,如表24所示。分析表2~4可以得出如下规律:
(1)低温故障条件下(300℃),天然酯绝缘油中产生的C2H6远高于矿物绝缘油,这是低温下天然酯绝缘油与矿物绝缘油最明显的区别;其次天然酯绝缘油中的H2、CO及CO2含量较矿物绝缘油更高。
(2)中低温故障条件下(300~550℃),3种绝缘油中尚未有C2H2产生,随着温度的升高,天然酯绝缘油中C2H6的比例逐渐减小,而CO及CO2的含量上升很快,并成为产出量更大的气体。矿物绝缘油中CH4是含量较大的气体。
(3)中高温及高温故障条件下(>600℃),两种天然酯绝缘油及矿物绝缘油中均开始有C2H2产出,C2H2可作为两类绝缘油高温故障的特征气体。此外3种绝缘油中的C2H4含量均大幅提升。
学者们对天然酯绝缘油在电故障下的气体产出情况进行了大量的模拟试验,主要是局部放电和电弧放电模拟。N A MUHAMAD等[17]研究了大豆基天然酯绝缘油在电故障下的油中溶解气体,在局部放电条件下,大豆基天然酯绝缘油中的气体产量小于矿物绝缘油,仅产生较少的H2。在电弧放电条件下,没有纸板时大豆基天然酯绝缘油中产生更多的H2,有纸板存在时产生的烃类气体含量要远小于矿物绝缘油。张召涛[14]研究表明,局部放电条件下,天然酯绝缘油及矿物绝缘油中产出最多的气体均为H2,但大豆油中还会产出较多的C2H6,而茶籽油中产生的C2H6较少。电击穿时天然酯绝缘油及矿物绝缘油中最显著的特征气体均为C2H2。C PERRIER等[15]研究表明,在击穿条件下,矿物绝缘油和天然酯绝缘油的特征故障气体均为C2H2及H2
IEEE Std C57.155-2014中给出了电弧故障下,大豆基天然酯绝缘油与矿物绝缘油中的产气情况,如表5所示。由表5可见,大豆基天然酯绝缘油在电弧故障下的H2及总烃产量均高于矿物绝缘油,矿物绝缘油中的C2H2含量占可燃气体的比例远高于天然酯绝缘油。
但放电能量及天然酯种类的不同可能导致不同的结果,如蔡胜伟等[18]研究了工频击穿条件下天然酯绝缘油与矿物绝缘油中的溶解气体含量,结果表明天然酯绝缘油在工频击穿下产生的烃类气体含量小于矿物绝缘油。在纯油击穿放电故障试验后,矿物绝缘油中CO和CO2气体含量基本不变,而山茶籽基天然酯绝缘油产生了更多的CO和CO2气体;在油纸击穿放电故障试验后,两种绝缘油均产生了CO和CO2气体,同时山茶籽基天然酯绝缘油产生的CO和CO2气体明显多于矿物绝缘油。K BANDARA等[11]研究了电故障下葵花籽基天然酯绝缘油中溶解气体情况,结果表明矿物绝缘油中的气体产量总体高于天然酯。
综上可知,局部放电条件下,天然酯绝缘油中产出较多的H2和C2H6;电击穿条件下,天然酯绝缘油和矿物绝缘油中产生较多的C2H2,其次为H2及C2H4
D MARTIN等[19-20]对1台2008年通电投运的132 kV/50 MVA FR3绝缘油变压器的油中溶解气体数据进行在线监测,该变压器从实验前到通电运行后油中溶解气体含量的变化情况如表6所示。分析表6可知,在变压器正常运行过程中C2H6、H2、CO和CO2是FR3绝缘油分解产生的主要气体产物,且在刚投入运行时C2H6含量上升速率最快,待运行一段时间后保持稳定。
文献[2,21-22]给出了天然酯变压器绝缘油中溶解气体90%百分位值,如表7所示。从表7可以看出,对于多数运行中天然酯变压器的油中溶解气体,H2和C2H6含量较多,CH4及C2H4含量次之,C2H2气体含量较少。
目前用于油的气相色谱数据分析的技术方法有特征气体法,比值法如Roger比值法、Doernenburg比值法、IEC比值法、改进三比值法等,以及图示法如Duval三角形法、五边形法等。国内绝缘油中溶解气体的检测方法主要采用GB/T 17623—2017中规定的气相色谱法。油中溶解气体的分析方法主要依据DL/T 722—2014,该标准规定分析判断方法主要使用特征气体法或三比值法。
进行气相色谱检测需要首先确定气体分配系数[23],蔡胜伟等[24]研究了3种天然酯绝缘油及1种矿物绝缘油的Ostwald平衡常数(k值),获得了气体分配系数与温度的关系。之后国内数家研究机构联合研究了50℃下大豆基和菜籽基天然酯绝缘油的气体分配系数,试验方法采用GB/T 17623—2017中附录F规定的二次溶解平衡法,试验结果如表8所示。
M DUVAL[25]对杜威三角法进行了边界调整,形成数种新的杜威三角(Duval triangle),使其可在一定程度上判断天然酯绝缘油中发生的故障。其中判断酯类油变压器故障的为杜威三角3,判断酯类油变压器低温故障的为杜威三角6。
K BANDARA等[11]利用改进杜威三角3对变压器故障模拟实验结果进行了诊断,认为天然酯绝缘油变压器的低温热故障、局部放电能够用改进杜威三角形做出正确的诊断。C PERRIER等[15]验证了杜威三角6对天然酯绝缘油故障诊断的适用性。
改进的酯类绝缘油的杜威三角3如图3所示。两种绝缘油在D1与D2边界,T3与DT及T2边界,以及T2与T1边界数值上存在明显差异,如表9所示。因此,使用不同天然酯绝缘油的变压器,其故障判断方法需要差别使用,对于已知的故障类型,通过产气比例可近似推断天然酯绝缘油的原料油。
(1)目前天然酯绝缘油已经有初步的油中溶解气体判断方法,但尚未达到矿物油的完善程度,需要在实践应用中进一步改进。
(2)目前公认的溶解气体故障判断方法主要源于国外的经验总结,由于国内外用油的特性并不完全相同,只能对我国的产品应用起到借鉴作用,不能全盘照搬。如我国数家企业已检测得到了国内使用天然酯绝缘油的较为统一的气体分配系数,这与CIGRE提供的数据差别较大。
(3)变压器用天然酯绝缘油中溶解气体已具备初步的判断方法——杜威三角3,天然酯绝缘油与矿物油的差别主要在于D1与D2、DT及T2与T3以及T1与T2边界。且不同原料油的天然酯绝缘油在上述3种边界上也有差异。
(4)随着国内天然酯绝缘油变压器应用的推进,数据的积累,最终天然酯绝缘油变压器的油中溶解气体分析将成为判断天然酯变压器故障的有力工具。
