In order to guide the application of composite cross arms in heavy ice areas, we investigated the icing characteristics of glass fiber reinforced composite material and composite insulated crossarms in this paper. The results show that the icing amount and ice flashover voltage of blank sample under vertical suspension are better than that of horizontal suspension, and its icing amount is less than that of pure aluminum rod and Q345 steel rod with the corresponding hydrophilic. The icing amount of the composite material coated with PRTV coating is less than that of the blank sample, its flashover voltage increases sharply; the ice surface adhesion value is the least, which is 19% of ice surface adhesion value of pure aluminum rod, while the ice surface adhesion value of the blank sample is 78% of pure aluminum rod. The ice coating characteristics of the silicone rubber composite insulated crossarm are just the opposite of that of the composite material sample. Compared with vertical suspending the same composite insulator, when the insulators are horizontal suspending, the icing amount of composite insulated crossarm suspension reduces by 30%, and the flashover voltage increases by 51%.

为了指导复合材料横担在重冰区的应用,本文开展了玻纤增强复合材料及复合材料绝缘横担的覆冰特性研究。结果表明:空白样品在垂直悬挂方式下的覆冰量和冰闪络电压均优于水平悬挂样品,且覆冰量均少于对应的亲水性的纯铝棒和Q345钢棒;涂覆PRTV涂料的复合材料样品覆冰量比空白样品少,对应的闪络电压大幅提升,且对应样品的冰面粘附力值最小,为纯铝棒冰面粘附力值的19%,而空白样品的冰面粘附力值为纯铝棒的78%。硅橡胶复合绝缘横担的覆冰特性正好和复合材料试样相反,水平悬挂方式下复合绝缘横担覆冰量相比垂直悬挂的同规格复合绝缘子减少了30%,闪络电压提高了51%。

为了指导复合材料横担在重冰区的应用,本文开展了玻纤增强复合材料及复合材料绝缘横担的覆冰特性研究。结果表明:空白样品在垂直悬挂方式下的覆冰量和冰闪络电压均优于水平悬挂样品,且覆冰量均少于对应的亲水性的纯铝棒和Q345钢棒;涂覆PRTV涂料的复合材料样品覆冰量比空白样品少,对应的闪络电压大幅提升,且对应样品的冰面粘附力值最小,为纯铝棒冰面粘附力值的19%,而空白样品的冰面粘附力值为纯铝棒的78%。硅橡胶复合绝缘横担的覆冰特性正好和复合材料试样相反,水平悬挂方式下复合绝缘横担覆冰量相比垂直悬挂的同规格复合绝缘子减少了30%,闪络电压提高了51%。

In order to guide the application of composite cross arms in heavy ice areas, we investigated the icing characteristics of glass fiber reinforced composite material and composite insulated crossarms in this paper. The results show that the icing amount and ice flashover voltage of blank sample under vertical suspension are better than that of horizontal suspension, and its icing amount is less than that of pure aluminum rod and Q345 steel rod with the corresponding hydrophilic. The icing amount of the composite material coated with PRTV coating is less than that of the blank sample, its flashover voltage increases sharply; the ice surface adhesion value is the least, which is 19% of ice surface adhesion value of pure aluminum rod, while the ice surface adhesion value of the blank sample is 78% of pure aluminum rod. The ice coating characteristics of the silicone rubber composite insulated crossarm are just the opposite of that of the composite material sample. Compared with vertical suspending the same composite insulator, when the insulators are horizontal suspending, the icing amount of composite insulated crossarm suspension reduces by 30%, and the flashover voltage increases by 51%.

冰灾严重威胁着输电线路的安全稳定运行,尤其是输电线路过度覆冰常使线路发生短线、倒杆、绝缘子串闪络等严重事故[1-3]。统计资料显示[4-6],冰闪危害仅次于外力破坏、雷电闪络,是我国输电线路,特别是高压线路跳闸的主要原因之一,因此提升线路抗冰能力已成为输配电线路的一个重大挑战。大量的研究发现[7-11],采用超疏水涂层,能在一定程度上推迟导线、绝缘子和钢塔表面的覆冰时间,减少覆冰量,提高相应设备的闪络电压。
复合绝缘横担采用复合材料包覆硅橡胶伞裙的结构组合形式,由于复合材料具有高强低模特性,复合绝缘横担在大幅度变形后恢复能力强,在台风多发地区输配电线路的应用中,可大幅减少线路灾害事故;利用复合绝缘横担表面硅橡胶的憎水特性,外加复合材料的耐腐蚀、耐高低温特性,可提高输电杆塔抗腐蚀性能,降低沿海及重工业区杆塔的腐蚀程度,延长杆塔及横担的寿命,降低维护成本;利用复合材料轻质特性,可大幅降低横担的质量,降低运输成本,节省人工成本和降低施工强度;利用复合材料颜色可调特性,可在对环境要求的景观区应用,增强了线路的“环境友好性”[12-14]
然而,针对传统金属杆塔、横担、绝缘子和导线的研究较多,对复合材料和复合绝缘横担覆冰特性的研究较少。本文通过对复合材料表面涂覆不同的涂料,对比空白样品的覆冰粘附力特性,研究相同尺寸不同表面处理的复合材料、纯铝棒和Q345钢棒分别在垂直和水平悬挂情况下的覆冰量,同时研究不同悬挂方式下复合材料和复合绝缘横担的覆冰特性,通过垂直和水平布置情况下的覆冰量和覆冰耐压试验,研究复合材料及复合绝缘横担的防覆冰及闪络状况。
复合材料的空白样品及3种涂有不同疏水涂层的实心小圆棒样品、相同规格的纯铝棒和Q345钢棒和复合绝缘横担样品,每种材料至少4个样品;喷水装置和产生覆冰的系统装置;配置电导率为50~60 μS/cm的覆冰水;国药集团生产的化学纯度的氯化钠、酒精、NaOH试剂;自购800#砂纸;分析天平(型号为TPA-2000,量程为500 g,精度为0.01 mg),电导率测试仪(型号为DDSJ-318)、游标卡尺(型号为SD-089)、测温仪(型号为HM900)、喷壶(喷水雾)和相机(型号为Canon760D)等设备。
(1)人工覆冰的方法。
试验环境温度为9~11℃,覆冰用水在开始覆冰试验前降温至2~4℃备用。试验中预先将覆冰水置于冰柜中,将水温降至0℃,然后将冷却后的水注入喷壶中,利用喷壶从上方给试验样品进行人工喷雾,喷雾均匀且喷出的水雾与样品接触时保持角度小于30°,保证各样品所接触到的水雾量相同。试验覆冰过程在-3~-12℃的冰柜中进行[14]。覆冰室内样品附近的温度控制在-3~-8℃。由于横担在覆冰的过程中是带电运行的,为了模拟现场实际运行的自然覆冰过程,在覆冰过程中对材料加载电压,若采用上述带电人工覆冰的方法,需要注意避免所加载的电压造成覆冰过程闪络情况的出现。
(2)冰面附着力测试。
图1为覆冰粘附力测试系统。测试样品包括高牢固度的耐磨超疏水涂料DS、耐候的有机硅氧烷疏水涂料IC701、长效疏水防污闪硅橡胶涂料PRTV等涂覆的小圆棒样品、未涂任何涂料的空白样品以及相同尺寸的纯铝棒、Q345钢棒。
测试方法:①将小圆棒样品放入测试仪中固定,自下端加入一定量的电导率为50~60 μS/cm的覆冰水;②在冰柜中冷冻10 h;③待水完全结成冰后,开启测试仪,以较平稳的力将小圆棒均匀往外拉,直至完全拔出,得到此过程中最大的拉力;④更换测试样品,重复上述过程,得出试验结果。
(3)覆冰耐压的测试。
根据文献[15]研究结果,覆冰厚度达到20 mm称为重度覆冰,当覆冰厚度超过25 mm时,冰闪电压随着覆冰厚度的增加而趋于饱和。因此要求覆冰厚度一律达到20 mm以上,该覆冰标准既模拟了重冰区情形又保证了试验的可重复性。
在试验样品覆冰且环境温度升高条件下,每隔1~2 min进行升压闪络一次,直至得到闪络电压与融冰时间或闪络次数的“U”形曲线为止。
(1)材料样品准备:①对复合材料样品分别使用自来水及酒精清洗干净,干燥后用塑料布包裹,封存待用,样品为直径为11 mm,长度为20 mm的圆棒。准备干燥的空白样品1份、涂覆有3种疏水涂料的样品各1份;本试验中纯铝棒(直径为11 mm,长度为20 mm)需用砂纸打磨平整,依次用去离子水及酒精清洗干净,然后置于NaOH水溶液中1 min,进一步清洗表面,最后再用去离子水冲洗3次,吹干待用。②将相同材料的两个小圆棒样品用铁丝扎在一起模拟实际中的横担。
(2)称重和悬挂:各样品覆冰的质量是检验覆冰程度的表征量,首先记录试验前各样品的原始质量。
本次试验分别垂直和水平悬挂喷涂DS、IC701、PRTV 3种防覆冰涂料和空白样品以及相同尺寸的纯铝棒和Q345钢棒样品各4个,缩比的复合绝缘横担悬挂也采用相同方式。各个样品的布置如图2所示。将这些样品依次悬挂于铁架上,并保证两个样品的间距为1 cm以内,以保证每个样品在喷壶喷出的水雾下接受的水量基本相同。
(3)覆冰和测试:①将事先配置好电导率的覆冰水装入容器内放入冰柜,直至水中的温度达到0℃;②将容器内的覆冰水加入到喷壶中,利用小型喷壶给试验样品进行人工喷雾,喷雾均匀且使喷出的水雾与样品接触时有一定的角度,并保证每个样品接受到的水雾量相差不大。待冰柜内温度达到-7~-10℃时观察覆冰形态,注意均匀覆冰;③待样品覆冰8 h时,将样品再冷冻15 min,直到样品表面完全凝固成冰,没有湿水状态;④对比不同疏水涂料在垂直、水平悬挂方式下复合绝缘横担覆冰现象及覆冰量;⑤肉眼观测,当样品表面覆冰完成后,取出放置在安全的地方进行覆冰量测试,测试过程中保持环境温度恒定为覆冰环境温度。之后依次将复合材料样品及缩比的复合绝缘横担样品取出进行覆冰耐压测试,试验布置如图3所示。
样品与冰层间的粘附力与冰与样品附着的高度相关,当摩擦因素一定时,接触面积就成了决定性因素。在经过简单的预测试之后,样品与覆冰接触面的高度为15 mm较为合适,下面所有的测试都是按照样品与覆冰面高度为15 mm进行。为减少因分散性及结冰条件的差异给试验结果带来的影响,本试验通过大量试验数据分析以观察每种样品的规律,剔除其中差异显著的值,得出比较合理的数据,试验结果如表1所示。从表1可以看出,空白样品的覆冰粘附力小于纯铝棒和Q345钢棒,这是因为铝材和钢材都是亲水性材料,而复合材料具备一定的憎水性,其憎水角可达82°[9]。涂覆疏水涂料的复合材料样品粘附力比空白样品小,因为这3种涂覆疏水涂料的复合材料都具有较好的憎水性[10],降低了覆冰水在样品表面停留的时间,起到一定的防覆冰效果,其中涂覆PRTV材质涂料的样品优于涂覆其他涂料的样品,其覆冰粘附力可以降低到纯铝棒与冰面粘附力的19%,而空白样品的覆冰粘附力为纯铝棒的78%,为Q345钢棒的95%,说明PRTV材料在防覆冰方面有着比其他材质的疏水涂料更好的效果,尤其是比金属铝材和钢材更具优势。
图4为空白样品、涂覆不同涂层的试样、纯铝棒和Q345钢棒的表面覆冰不同时间、不同悬挂方式的状态。
图4可以看出,覆冰初期,涂覆有疏水涂料的样品表面水呈现为分离的水珠状,表面结冰颗粒分布较为均匀、密集;空白样品、纯铝棒和Q345钢棒,表面呈现为连续的水膜,结冰后冰面均匀分布,且冰凌也相对较长。在覆冰后期(6~8 h),冰已经完全粘附在样品表面,涂有涂料的样品表面冰的状态比较粗糙,有比较明显的凸起,且涂覆PRTV和IC701涂料的样品比涂覆DS涂料的样品表面粗糙程度大,而空白样品冰表面相对更光滑。覆冰8 h及冷冻15 min后,对各个样品称重,垂直和水平悬挂下的样品覆冰量测试情况如表2图4所示。
表2可以看出,垂直悬挂样品的平均覆冰量明显低于同类型水平悬挂样品的平均覆冰量,且复合材料的覆冰量比纯铝棒和Q345钢棒的覆冰量少,垂直悬挂的空白样品平均覆冰量分别为纯铝棒和Q345钢棒的81.6%和86.6%,垂直悬挂的涂覆有PRTV的复合材料样品的平均覆冰量最低,分别为纯铝棒和Q345钢棒的74.9%和79.5%。而水平悬挂的空白样品的平均覆冰量分别为纯铝棒和Q345棒的78.9%和80.6%,说明复合材料样品相对铝材及钢材具备一定防覆冰效果;水平悬挂的复合材料样品中,涂有涂料的样品都比空白样品的平均覆冰量多,而垂直悬挂的复合材料样品中涂有PRTV和DS的样品比空白样品的平均覆冰量少,从冰凌长度上看,空白样品的冰凌最长。覆冰量的多少在一定程度上反映出冰与各涂层材料间的粘附力程度,涂有PRTV涂料的样品与冰面间的粘附力较低,其覆冰量也相对较少。复合材料垂直悬挂比水平悬挂的平均覆冰量少,因为复合材料垂直悬挂时与喷雾的接触面小,水滴容易流下,水平悬挂时与喷雾接触面大,一旦结冰则覆冰迅速增长。
图5为样品闪络电压随闪络次数的变化规律。从图5可以看出,在整个融冰过程中,涂覆PRTV、IC701、DS的样品闪络电压依次降低,且均高于空白样品。从第1次闪络电压值来看,涂覆涂料样品的闪络电压值均比空白样品大,因此涂覆涂料能在一定程度上增大覆冰闪络电压,具有提升防覆冰性能的效果。并且随着初次覆冰闪络后,第2次闪络电压都会减小,第3次闪络电压再增大,这是因为初次覆冰闪络后,冰面开始融化,表面出现过多融冰水,加压后会沿着水层放电,故第2次闪络电压减小;同时放电过程水层会被烤干,相应第3次闪络电压就会增大。最终冰融化完,相应样品的湿闪电压也是涂有涂层的大于空白样品。
为了进一步研究相同条件下涂覆DS、IC701、PRTV的样品和空白样品覆冰后,垂直和水平悬挂放电的差异,进行了对比试验。将相同条件下覆冰的复合材料样品分别水平和垂直悬挂进行覆冰闪络试验,将每组不同类型涂料样品初始闪络电压数值记录下来,其试验结果如表3所示。
表3可以看出,无论水平或垂直悬挂的覆冰样品,涂覆涂料的样品闪络电压平均值都大于空白样品,涂覆涂料能在一定程度上提高复合材料样品的覆冰闪络电压。其中,涂有PRTV涂料的复合材料样品,在两种悬挂方式下的覆冰闪络电压的平均值均最高,其在水平和垂直两种悬挂方式下,对应的平均覆冰闪络电压相对空白样品分别提高了22.2%和12.5%。每一种样品垂直悬挂放电电压值都比水平悬挂方式的高,因为垂直悬挂样品的覆冰量低于水平悬挂的样品,且在融冰过程中垂直悬挂样品顶部的水滴会将下端的水滴一同带走,融冰较快,而水平悬挂的覆冰样品覆冰量大,冰融化后的水较难流走。以上结果同时证明,同一种样品在垂直和水平悬挂下样品的闪络电压变化趋势相似,为方便试验操作,后续覆冰闪络试验均采用水平悬挂方式进行。
图6是样品覆冰闪络试验,记录了样品初次闪络和多次闪络的过程。在加压试验过程中,冰层逐渐融化,首先在电极两端产生电弧,之后逐渐发展成贯通闪络通道,放电通道一般为沿着下表面的冰外层,因为冰融化成水后逐渐沿着下表面淌,易形成放电通道(图6(a)~(b))。由于冰层较厚,试验时温度较低,冰融化较慢,前面多次闪络通道相同;当闪络第8次以后,冰层的形状完全变形,样品右端出现空气击穿(图6(c)~(d)),路径为冰的下表面。图7是记录了样品多次闪络后样品表面烧蚀状态及样品多次闪络后形成的冰层内部贯穿闪络通道,因为样品两端电极处冰融化较快,在闪络过程中,会使样品两端产生明显放电痕迹(图7(a)所示)。当闪络第10次以后,闪络通道发生改变,由于冰闪络高温导致复合材料样品下表面与冰层之间形成一个贯穿的通道(图7(b)所示),外加重力作用,此时再加压过程中,复合材料和冰面之间的上表面更容易形成放电通道,因为样品上表面此时和冰面密切接触,直至上表面冰层完全融化脱落。
复合绝缘横担是由绝缘复合材料芯棒两端压接金具,再在金具间的复合材料芯棒上压接硅橡胶而成。之前涂覆不同疏水涂层的复合材料的覆冰及冰闪络试验结果验证了硅橡胶材料在覆冰量及提升复合材料覆冰闪络电压值等方面均优于其他疏水材料。基于以上研究基础,接下来深入研究复合绝缘横担的覆冰特性。表4为复合绝缘横担不同悬挂方式的覆冰量结果。
表4可以看出,复合绝缘横担在不同悬挂方式下,其覆冰量差别明显,垂直悬挂的复合绝缘横担的覆冰量明显大于水平悬挂的复合绝缘横担,经过8 h覆冰试验后垂直悬挂的复合绝缘横担的平均覆冰量为206.9 g,而水平悬挂的复合绝缘横担的覆冰量为159.6 g,垂直悬挂平均覆冰量相对于水平悬挂增加了30%。试验结果正好和复合材料的试验结果相反,这是复合绝缘横担硅橡胶伞裙结构所致,垂直悬挂的复合绝缘横担伞裙上大量的水滴停留不能及时流走而更容易结冰,而水平悬挂复合绝缘横担上的水滴则更容易流走,结冰较慢,如图8所示。
在不同悬挂方式下,进行复合绝缘横担的覆冰闪络试验。图9记录了覆冰后的复合绝缘横担在水平悬挂和垂直悬挂两种方式下,横担初次起弧和贯穿闪络的情况,表5是对应不同悬挂方式下,复合绝缘横担多次覆冰闪络试验结果。
表5可以看出,在整个融冰过程中,复合绝缘横担的闪络电压值都表现为水平悬挂覆冰方式大于垂直悬挂覆冰方式,两种悬挂方式随着施加电压次数的增加,耐压值逐渐增大,这是因为复合绝缘横担在加压过程中,冰层逐渐融化,绝缘距离变长,绝缘性能增强,使得耐压值逐渐增加。多组覆冰闪络试验结果显示,水平悬挂的复合绝缘横担的平均闪络电压值相对垂直悬挂的提高了51%,说明复合绝缘横担水平悬挂的方式可以显著提升其冰闪电压值。
垂直悬挂复合绝缘横担比水平悬挂下横担的闪络电压低,主要原因是垂直悬挂的复合绝缘横担的冰凌长到使伞群间相互桥接,闪络沿着放电距离最小的桥接冰凌开始,而水平悬挂覆冰的复合绝缘横担冰凌虽长,但没桥接伞群,闪络从爬距最小的地方开始,放电通道一般为沿着绝缘子的上边缘开始(图9)。
(1)在不同材料与冰面的粘附力方面,涂覆PRTV涂料的样品覆冰粘附力最小,可以达到低于亲水性纯铝棒粘附力值的19%,而空白样品的冰面附着力为纯铝棒的78%,为Q345钢棒的95%。
(2)覆冰初期涂有涂料的样品表面水呈现为分离的水珠状,表面结冰颗粒分布较为均匀、密集;空白样品、纯铝棒和Q345钢棒,表面呈现为连续的水膜,结冰后冰面均匀分布,水滴更易往下淌,冰凌比其他样品的长。
(3)所有复合材料样品垂直悬挂的覆冰量都低于水平悬挂的样品,垂直悬挂的涂覆有PRTV复合材料样品的覆冰量最低,分别为纯铝棒和Q345钢棒的74.9%和79.5%,而对应空白样品的覆冰量分别为铝棒和Q345钢棒的81.6%和86.6%,说明复合材料样品相对铝材及钢材具备一定防覆冰效果,而疏水的PRTV材料可以更有效地减少覆冰量。
(4)涂覆涂料样品的闪络电压值都比空白样品高,涂覆涂料能在一定程度上提高覆冰闪络电压,且涂有PRTV涂料的复合材料样品,在两种悬挂方式下的覆冰闪络电压均为最高,其在两种悬挂方式下,对应的平均冰闪电压相对空白样品分别提高了22.2%和12.5%。
(5)硅橡胶复合绝缘横担在水平悬挂方式下的覆冰量相比垂直悬挂方式显著减少,相同条件下其覆冰量减少了23%,对应水平悬挂的平均冰闪络电压也相对垂直悬挂方式提高了51%,其结果正好和复合材料的研究结果相反,这主要是复合绝缘横担表面硅橡胶伞裙的结构所致。
