Polluted insulators are easy to discharge or even flashover when the surface is wet to a certain extent, which seriously threatens the safety and stability of power grid. In this paper, in view of three kinds of common insoluble contaminates SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, we conducted water absorption tests and insulator flashover tests under different environmental humidity, and the influence of environment humidity on the water absorption and flashover properties of insulators polluted with typical insoluble contaminates were analyzed. The results show that the SiO2 has the best water absorption property, the Al2O3 is followed, and the Fe2O3 has extremely weak water absorption property or cannot absorb water absolutely. The moisture absorption rate and saturated moisture content of SiO2 and Al2O3 tend to increase with the increase of environment humidity. In the situation of saturated humidity, the surface contamination of insulators polluted by SiO2 and Al2O3 may be washed away with the dripping process of liquid droplets. The pollution flashover voltage gradient of insulators decreases with the increase of environmental humidity, and this phenomenon is more obvious in low humidity.

污秽绝缘子在表面湿润达到一定程度时容易发生放电甚至闪络,此现象严重威胁着输电线路的安全稳定运行。本文针对绝缘子表面常见的3种不溶污秽成分SiO2、Al2O3、Fe2O3,分别开展了不同环境湿度下的不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验,并对试验结果进行了分析,探究环境湿度对不溶物吸水特性和绝缘子闪络特性的影响。结果表明:SiO2的吸水性最好,Al2O3次之,Fe2O3吸水性极弱或无吸水性;SiO2和Al2O3随着环境湿度的增加,吸水速度变快,且饱和吸水量增高;在饱和湿度下,SiO2和Al2O3染污绝缘子的表面污秽容易随着水滴的滴落而流失;绝缘子污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增大而减小,此种现象在湿度较低的情况下表现得愈加明显。

污秽绝缘子在表面湿润达到一定程度时容易发生放电甚至闪络,此现象严重威胁着输电线路的安全稳定运行。本文针对绝缘子表面常见的3种不溶污秽成分SiO2、Al2O3、Fe2O3,分别开展了不同环境湿度下的不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验,并对试验结果进行了分析,探究环境湿度对不溶物吸水特性和绝缘子闪络特性的影响。结果表明:SiO2的吸水性最好,Al2O3次之,Fe2O3吸水性极弱或无吸水性;SiO2和Al2O3随着环境湿度的增加,吸水速度变快,且饱和吸水量增高;在饱和湿度下,SiO2和Al2O3染污绝缘子的表面污秽容易随着水滴的滴落而流失;绝缘子污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增大而减小,此种现象在湿度较低的情况下表现得愈加明显。

Polluted insulators are easy to discharge or even flashover when the surface is wet to a certain extent, which seriously threatens the safety and stability of power grid. In this paper, in view of three kinds of common insoluble contaminates SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, we conducted water absorption tests and insulator flashover tests under different environmental humidity, and the influence of environment humidity on the water absorption and flashover properties of insulators polluted with typical insoluble contaminates were analyzed. The results show that the SiO2 has the best water absorption property, the Al2O3 is followed, and the Fe2O3 has extremely weak water absorption property or cannot absorb water absolutely. The moisture absorption rate and saturated moisture content of SiO2 and Al2O3 tend to increase with the increase of environment humidity. In the situation of saturated humidity, the surface contamination of insulators polluted by SiO2 and Al2O3 may be washed away with the dripping process of liquid droplets. The pollution flashover voltage gradient of insulators decreases with the increase of environmental humidity, and this phenomenon is more obvious in low humidity.

绝缘子是电力系统外绝缘中的重要部件,其工作正常与否直接影响着输电线路的安全稳定运行。近年来,输电线路绝缘子污秽闪络事故时有发生,统计表明,绝缘子污闪事故影响范围广,重合闸成功率低,对电力行业和国民经济造成了较大的经济损失[1-4]
不溶污秽成分主要是通过吸水和保水作用对绝缘子电气特性产生影响[5]。污秽绝缘子在环境达饱和湿度时最容易发生闪络事故,然而在一些重污秽地区,非饱和湿度条件下,绝缘子仍然存在着闪络的风险。绝缘子表面不溶污秽成分的吸水特性随环境湿度的变化而存在差异,导致污秽绝缘子在不同环境湿度下的闪络特性也存在差异[6-8]
国内外学者针对外绝缘污秽闪络展开了大量研究,也取得了一定成果[9-10]。然而,现有研究主要着眼于研究饱和湿度条件下绝缘子的电气特性[11]。有关环境湿度、污层湿润程度、不溶污秽吸水性及其对绝缘子电气性能的影响研究,大多采用硅藻土或高岭土模拟绝缘子表面的不溶污秽,其试验结果随着模拟物质中纯净物含量的不同而存在差异,导致试验结果在实际工程应用中具有一定的局限性[12]
本文针对绝缘子表面常见的3种不溶污秽成分SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3,分别开展不同环境湿度下的不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验,并对试验结果进行分析,探究环境湿度对不溶物吸水特性和绝缘子闪络特性的影响。
试验分为不同环境湿度下的不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验两部分。外绝缘污秽试验中,常用硅藻土和高岭土模拟绝缘子表面不溶污秽成分[13-16]。硅藻土是一种混合物,无固定分子结构,其主要化学成分为SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3;高岭土是一种层状硅酸盐矿物,其主要成分为高岭石,化学式为2Al2O3·4SiO2·4H2O。研究表明,外绝缘不溶污秽由多种物质组成,其吸水特性并非单一物质及固定组分所能模拟的[17-19]
本文采用绝缘子表面不溶污秽成分中含量相对较高的SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3为试验对象。在吸水试验中,以玻璃烧杯和XP-70瓷绝缘子为载体,分别研究3种不溶污秽在无水分流失情况下和实际绝缘子运行情况下的吸水特性。在绝缘子闪络试验中,以XP4-160瓷绝缘子和LXY4-160玻璃绝缘子为试品,研究在不同环境湿度下,3种常见不溶污秽染污绝缘子的闪络特性及规律。试品绝缘子的技术参数如表1所示,其中H为绝缘子的结构高度,L为绝缘子的泄漏距离,D为绝缘子盘径。
试验平台如图1所示。试验在有机玻璃室内进行,其高度为90 cm,直径为80 cm。水雾的产生与控制通过超声波雾发生器实现,并利用风扇使室内湿度分布相对均匀,玻璃室内的相对湿度通过湿度计实时监测。
试验分为不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验两部分,不溶物吸水试验流程如下:
(1)采用电子天平称取SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3各200 g,并将其分别置于干净烧杯中,将载有不溶物的烧杯放入有机玻璃室,测量各不溶污秽成分的吸水特性。试验中,将环境湿度分别控制为80%、90%、100%,采用量程为1.0 kg、精度为1.0 g的拉力计对试品的增重量(即吸水量)进行实时测量。读数时,需先将烧杯内、外壁所凝结的水珠擦拭干净。
(2)为降低绝缘子表面不溶物吸水试验的误差,采用质量较轻的XP-70绝缘子,分别将SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3均匀涂刷在绝缘子表面,灰密值(NSDD)固定为5.0 mg/cm2,环境湿度分别控制为80%、90%、100%,采用量程为10.0 kg、精度为5.0 g的拉力计对试品的增重量(即吸水量)进行实时测量。读数时,需先将绝缘子钢帽和钢脚所凝结的水珠擦拭干净。
环境湿度对绝缘子表面的不溶物吸水作用存在影响,此影响将导致不同环境湿度下绝缘子的闪络特性差异。分别采用XP4-160瓷绝缘子和LXY4-160玻璃绝缘子为试品,测试不同环境湿度下染污绝缘子的闪络特性,具体试验流程如下:
(1)染污方法
试品的染污参照IEC 60507:2013和GB/T 4585—2004所要求的固体层法中的定量涂刷法[20-21]。其中可溶物用NaCl模拟,不溶物分别用SiO2、Al2O3和Fe2O3模拟,盐密值(ESDD)和NSDD分别控制为0.10 mg/cm2和1.00 mg/cm2
(2)环境湿度控制
由于在加压过程中,难以在玻璃室内进行湿度调控,所以环境相对湿度除100%的饱和湿度外,另外采用65%~85%中差距较大的两点作为试验环境湿度,所得环境湿度以闪络过程中的实时观测湿度为准。
(3)加压方法
加压方式采用恒压升降法[1,3,21]:每次试验时施加电压水平按升降法来改变,电压级差为上一次试验施加电压的5%。即如若试品在某一电压Ufi下闪络,则降低5%电压进行下一次试验;若试品在Ufi下通过耐受,则升高5%电压;反复试验直到有效试验次数在10次以上;所谓有效试验是指以与前一次试验结果不同的试验为开始的试验。试品绝缘子的闪络电压Uf及其标准偏差σ式(1)所示。

式(1)中:Uf为绝缘子闪络电压,kV;Ufi为第i次有效试验施加的电压,kV;ni为施加相同电压Ufi的次数;N为有效试验次数;σ为试验结果的标准偏差。
置于烧杯中的不溶物吸水试验中,SiO2和Al2O3的试验结果如图2所示。Fe2O3在各湿度条件下的吸水量均在0~2 g内变化,增重量极小,在误差范围内,说明Fe2O3的吸水性极弱或不具有吸水性,因此,未绘制其吸水量图线。从图2可以看出,SiO2和Al2O3随着环境湿度的增加,吸水速度变快,且所达到的临界值增高;SiO2在相对湿度为90%和100%的饱和吸水量比较接近;相同质量的SiO2吸水量明显高于Al2O3,说明3种不溶物中SiO2的吸水性最好,Al2O3次之,Fe2O3吸水性极弱或无吸水性。
烧杯中的不溶物吸水试验,虽可以反映各不溶物的吸水性强弱及湿度对吸水作用的影响,但由于烧杯口径的限制,使得不溶物与空气的直接接触面积较小,在有限的试验时间内,仅上层物质能够达到有效吸水。另一方面,实际绝缘子表面污秽达到饱和吸水时,将出现水分及污秽物以液滴形式发生流失的现象。因此,本文对绝缘子表面不溶物的吸水性进行了试验研究,得到120 min内的测量结果如图3所示。
与烧杯中的不溶物吸水试验结果相似,绝缘子表面污秽吸水试验中,Fe2O3染污的绝缘子在120 min内的增重量在拉力计的5 g精度范围内,难以测量Fe2O3染污的绝缘子吸水量的有效数据,因此,未绘制其吸水量图线,此现象也验证了Fe2O3的弱吸水性或无吸水性。从图3可以看出,SiO2和Al2O3在绝缘子表面随着环境湿度的增加,吸水速度越快,且所达到的临界值越高。
与不溶物吸水试验不同的是,在环境相对湿度为100%时,SiO2和Al2O3染污的绝缘子在试验90 min后均出现了吸水量下降的情况,试验过程中也观察到了带有不溶物的悬浊液滴沿伞裙边缘滴落的现象,这说明在饱和湿度下,绝缘子表面污秽会随着水滴的滴落而流失,而非饱和湿度条件下,120 min内无此现象发生。
绝缘子表面污秽吸水试验所得吸水量是烧杯中不溶物吸水试验的2~5倍,这是由于XP-70绝缘子表面积为1 590 cm2,是烧杯中不溶物与环境直接接触表面积的数十倍,在表面吸水、水分渗透和不溶物保水的共同作用下,造成了此种差异。
绝缘子闪络试验中,两种试品绝缘子的型式结构、泄漏距离等参数存在差异,为进行对比分析,本文采用闪络电压梯度对绝缘子污闪特性进行定量表征。闪络电压梯度定义为绝缘子沿面单位泄漏距离所对应的最大耐受电压,如式(2)所示。

式(2)中:EL为绝缘子的污闪电压梯度,kV/m;Uf为污秽绝缘子的50%闪络电压,kV;L为绝缘子串的沿面总泄漏距离,m。
不溶物染污绝缘子在不同环境湿度下的污闪试验结果如图4所示。
图4可以看出,在不同湿度下,两种绝缘子在不同不溶污秽成分染污后的污闪电压梯度变化趋势相似,XP4-160型瓷绝缘子的污闪电压梯度略低于LXY4-160型玻璃绝缘子。对于SiO2和Al2O3两种吸湿性较强的不溶物而言,其对应的污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增加呈明显的下降趋势,在环境相对湿度较低时,下降趋势尤为明显;而环境湿度超过80%以后,下降趋势较为平缓。以上试验结果表明,环境湿度影响绝缘子表面不溶物的吸水量,导致绝缘子污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增大而减小,在湿度较低的情况下,影响愈加明显。
对于Fe2O3类具有弱吸水性或无吸水性的不溶物而言,其对应的绝缘子闪络电压梯度随环境湿度的增加也有一定的变化趋势,但趋势不明显;这说明除吸水作用外,在高湿度环境下,水分也会附着于不溶物表面,并渗透于不溶物层间;同时,环境湿度也会对绝缘子放电过程中的电弧产生一定影响,水雾的出现和浓度增加会导致环境空气的整体相对介电常数增加,从而导致高湿度环境下绝缘子的闪络电压梯度较低。
结合不溶物吸水试验和绝缘子闪络试验结果可知,在各环境湿度下,Al2O3和Fe2O3的吸水能力虽不及SiO2,但前两种典型不溶污秽对应的绝缘子闪络电压梯度却低于SiO2。绝缘子放电及闪络过程中,不溶污秽不直接参与导电,其主要是通过吸水作用为污层提供溶剂,从而影响绝缘子的闪络特性。在相同环境湿度下,除吸水作用外,不溶物本身的性质也对绝缘子闪络特性产生影响。Al2O3和Fe2O3为金属氧化物,属于离子晶体,是由正、负离子通过离子键结合而成,因此当绝缘子表面流经泄漏电流时,其表现出来的理化活性高于SiO2,在电弧作用下的熔融状态甚至可表现出强电解质特性;而SiO2为非金属氧化物,属原子晶体,其相邻原子之间通过共价键结合而成,且Si-O键呈稳定的四面体结构,化学性质稳定,因此在不考虑吸水作用的情况下,SiO2对绝缘子闪络特性的影响程度不及Al2O3和Fe2O3
据统计发现,实际绝缘子表面的不溶污秽成分主要以硅酸盐为主,其中SiO2质量分数约占70%以上,最高可达90%,其次为Al2O3,质量分数为5%~20%,其余成分如Fe2O3等也占有少量比例。因此Al2O3、Fe2O3等金属氧化物本身的性质对绝缘子污闪特性的影响大幅降低,实际运行绝缘子闪络过程中,环境湿度及吸水作用仍是不溶物影响绝缘子污闪特性的主要因素。
在闪络过程中,绝缘子周围的局部湿度不是固定的。随着环境相对湿度的增加,绝缘子表面污层湿润到一定程度时,在外施电压的作用下,泄漏电流增加,绝缘子表面出现干燥带,进而形成局部电弧。在同等外施电压下,环境湿度较低时,一方面,污层表面湿润程度不一定能达到局部电弧产生的临界值;另一方面,局部电弧的发展将导致绝缘子周围的局部湿度大幅降低,绝缘子周围水气补充难以阻止表面污层的进一步烘干,剩余污层电阻持续增加,局部放电难以维持与发展。在高环境湿度下,周围密集水气的补充使得绝缘子表面剩余污层电阻降低,促进了电弧的发展,直至完全闪络。这就使得绝缘子污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增大而减小,且湿度较低的情况下,此种影响愈加明显。
(1)外绝缘常见3种不溶污秽成分中,SiO2的吸水性最好,Al2O3次之,Fe2O3吸水性极弱或无吸水性;SiO2和Al2O3随着环境湿度的增加,吸水速度变快,且饱和吸水量增高;SiO2在相对湿度为90%和100%的饱和吸水量比较接近。
(2)在饱和湿度下,SiO2和Al2O3染污绝缘子的表面污秽容易随着水滴的滴落而流失,而非饱和湿度条件下,此现象不易发生。
(3)环境湿度影响绝缘子表面不溶物的吸水量及电弧发展过程中的剩余污层电阻,导致绝缘子污闪电压梯度随环境湿度的增大而减小,且湿度较低的情况下,此种影响程度愈加明显。
