Three typical stator defect models were fabricated using the generator stators in actual operation, and then conducted accelerated thermal ageing tests. The difference on partial discharge characteristics of the three typical defects before and after ageing was studied using pulse current method. The results show that after ageing, the partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) of the model with internal defect increases, while the PDIV of the model with slot discharge and end discharge decrease, this is because there are large number of cracks on the epoxy mica tape insulation surface due to thermal ageing. The phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) pattern of internal discharge model is symmetrical, and the width of discharge phase becomes narrow after thermal ageing; the PRPD pattern of slot discharge model changes from hill shape to semi ellipse shape after thermal ageing, and the discharge density increases significantly; the PRPD pattern of end discharge model shows the characteristics of corona discharge, and the discharge characteristics at the positive and negative half-cycle of alternating current is obvious asymmetry.

采用实际运行中的发电机定子线棒,制作了3种典型的定子缺陷模型并对其进行了加速热老化试验,利用脉冲电流法研究热老化前后定子绝缘缺陷的局部放电特性差异。结果表明:内部缺陷线棒模型的局部放电起始电压相较于热老化前出现了升高,而槽部放电和端部放电模型的局部放电起始电压在热老化后却出现了下降,这是由于加速热老化使得环氧云母带绝缘表面出现大量裂纹。内部放电模型的PRPD图谱呈现出一定的对称性,热老化后放电相位宽度变窄;槽部放电模型热老化后PRPD图谱形状由“山丘”状转为“半椭圆”状,放电密度明显升高;端部放电模型的PRPD图谱呈现电晕放电的特征,在交流电压正、负半周的放电表征不对称性明显。

采用实际运行中的发电机定子线棒,制作了3种典型的定子缺陷模型并对其进行了加速热老化试验,利用脉冲电流法研究热老化前后定子绝缘缺陷的局部放电特性差异。结果表明:内部缺陷线棒模型的局部放电起始电压相较于热老化前出现了升高,而槽部放电和端部放电模型的局部放电起始电压在热老化后却出现了下降,这是由于加速热老化使得环氧云母带绝缘表面出现大量裂纹。内部放电模型的PRPD图谱呈现出一定的对称性,热老化后放电相位宽度变窄;槽部放电模型热老化后PRPD图谱形状由“山丘”状转为“半椭圆”状,放电密度明显升高;端部放电模型的PRPD图谱呈现电晕放电的特征,在交流电压正、负半周的放电表征不对称性明显。

Three typical stator defect models were fabricated using the generator stators in actual operation, and then conducted accelerated thermal ageing tests. The difference on partial discharge characteristics of the three typical defects before and after ageing was studied using pulse current method. The results show that after ageing, the partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) of the model with internal defect increases, while the PDIV of the model with slot discharge and end discharge decrease, this is because there are large number of cracks on the epoxy mica tape insulation surface due to thermal ageing. The phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) pattern of internal discharge model is symmetrical, and the width of discharge phase becomes narrow after thermal ageing; the PRPD pattern of slot discharge model changes from hill shape to semi ellipse shape after thermal ageing, and the discharge density increases significantly; the PRPD pattern of end discharge model shows the characteristics of corona discharge, and the discharge characteristics at the positive and negative half-cycle of alternating current is obvious asymmetry.

大型发电机是电力系统中的重要设备,高压电机发生故障将会直接影响到电网供电的质量[1]。据统计,超过40%的高压电机故障是由定子绝缘老化引起的[2]。引起发电机定子绝缘老化的原因通常有两种:①热老化,发电机正常运行时其内部由于耗损会产生热量,部分难以及时散发的热量将会使定子线棒温度升高,导致环氧云母带绝缘发生热老化[3];②电老化,由于长期运行在高电压环境下,定子绝缘中一些电场集中点将会发生局部放电现象(partial discharge,PD),长期的局部放电腐蚀是发电机定子绝缘失效的主要原因。目前,国内外学者对发电机定子绝缘的热老化和电老化特性进行了广泛研究。高波等[4]测试了不同老化程度下发电机绝缘试样的频域介电特征量,发现温度对定子绝缘的介电特征量有很大影响;刘红文等[5]设计了额定电压为8.5 kV的环氧云母绝缘板材并进行了加速热老化试验,发现定子绝缘电阻、吸收比和极化指数随老化时间变化趋势不明显;李传扬等[6]使用自制装置在交流电压下进行了发电机定子线棒槽部放电、电晕放电和相间放电的局放测量实验,得到了3种故障类型的放电指纹,为故障的模式识别做好了研究基础;LI Shunyuan等[7]根据现在发电机长期记录的局部放电监测数据,分析了4种定子绝缘的局部放电类型,认为可以通过放电图谱、极性效应、脉冲相位和放电发展趋势等特征进行发电机定子绝缘故障类型的模式识别。
以上研究考虑了热老化或电老化单一因素对定子绝缘特性的影响,但热老化对发电机定子线棒局部放电特性影响的研究却少有报道。
本研究使用660 MW/22 kV发电机定子线棒,制作发电机定子内部气隙放电、槽部放电和端部放电3种典型缺陷模型,分析加速热老化后定子线棒缺陷模型的局部放电特征及其演化规律,以期为发电机定子典型缺陷模式识别提供实验基础数据。
大型发电机局部放电测量一般采用电测法[8]。本研究采用脉冲电流法[9]进行定子线棒缺陷模型的局部放电测量,试验线路如图1所示。其中,T1为调压器;T2为YDTW-25/100型100 kV/50 Hz无局放实验变压器;R为10 kΩ保护电阻;C1和C2构成分压比为1∶1 000的电容分压器;Ck为100 kV/1 000 pF的耦合电容,用于耦合试品局部放电时产生的脉冲电流信号;Z为检测阻抗。局部放电测试采用Omicron MPD600型放电检测仪,实验系统完全符合IEC 60270标准,试验前对整个试验系统进行耐压及局部放电测试,在20 kV试验电压作用下,背景噪声水平低于15 pC。
根据发电机运行过程中定子线棒常出现的问题,设计了3种绝缘缺陷模型:①内部放电模型,由于现代电机定子主绝缘由环氧云母带绕制而成,制作过程中云母带之间不可避免地存在微小气隙,在正常运行的发电机中通常会存在气隙放电,而环氧云母绝缘系统普遍可以耐受气隙放电活动[10],测量内部放电的目的在于排除其对槽部放电和端部放电的干扰;②槽部放电模型,常见于绕组嵌线紧固工艺不到位,导致定子绕组在巨大电磁力作用下相对定子铁芯不断振动[11],锋利的硅钢叠片磨损主绝缘表面半导电层,使主绝缘表面与定子铁芯槽内壁之间产生大片气隙;③端部放电模型,由于电机运行过程中的机械振动,使发电机槽口处低阻区与高阻区的防晕层脱落,半导电层边缘处电场过于集中,导致其上部空气间隙击穿,发生电晕放电[12]
试验使用的定子线棒由浙能兰溪发电厂提供,绝缘层是VPI绝缘,绝缘厚度为3.0 mm。定子线棒模型结构如图2所示,长度为35 cm。制作时首先将线棒两端外半导电层剥除8.0 cm,裸露出线棒主绝缘,然后将其两端的环氧云母带绝缘层去除5.0 cm,露出导体,以便套入均压球。环氧云母带绝缘层切面打磨光滑以避免沿面放电,同时半导电层断口处做防电晕处理[13]
3种典型缺陷制作过程如下:①内部气隙放电,直接使用上述定子线棒模型,不做任何处理;②槽部放电,在定子线棒模型中部制作一个60 mm×30 mm的凹槽,深度为0.8 mm,线棒表面贴一层铝箔作为接地极;③端部放电,剥除防晕层露出主绝缘,以模拟半导电层与主绝缘交叠部分电阻无穷大的实际情况。
将已经预处理过的发电机线棒放置在上海和呈仪器制造有限公司生产的DHG-9145A型烘箱中进行加速热老化,老化温度为170℃[14],线棒试样老化时间为14 d。
通过交流电压局部放电试验系统,测量以上3种缺陷模型在老化前后的局部放电图谱。试验时发电机线棒模型一端连接高压,一端套入均压球以防止电晕放电。随后以80 V/s的升压速度升高电压直至局部放电量大于20 pC(测试系统设定阈值),此时的电压记录为局部放电起始电压(partial discharge inception voltage,PDIV)。随后继续升高电压,在外施电压U=1.1 PDIV下加压2 min,记录局部放电数据和放电图谱。
3种线棒缺陷模型在热老化前后的局部放电起始电压对比如图3所示。由图3可知,加速热老化处理对发电机线棒模型的局部放电起始电压产生了一定的影响。对于内部缺陷而言,热老化处理后线棒模型的局部放电起始电压比热老化前提升了15.6%;而对于槽部放电和端部放电模型,其热老化后局部放电起始电压较老化前均出现一定程度的下降,下降幅度分别为21.4%和13.3%。内部放电模型的局部放电位置处于发电机线棒环氧云母带之间的微小气隙,长时间的热老化会使环氧云母带产生微小的膨胀,对气隙形成挤压效应,导致部分气隙消失;尽管热老化会引起环氧云母带绝缘电学性能下降,导致气隙缺陷下PDIV降低,但由于老化时间较短,这部分的影响较小,因而从整体上看热老化后线棒的局部放电起始电压略有升高。
为探究槽部放电和端部放电模型老化前后起始电压的变化原因,对线棒热老化前后的环氧云母带表面进行了SEM微观结构分析,结果如图4所示。从图4可以看出,未进行热老化的环氧云母绝缘表面十分平整,表面无裂痕,这表明当外部电压存在时,其表面的电场分布较均匀,不易发生局部放电现象[15];而在热老化14 d后,环氧云母绝缘表面变得粗糙,并且产生大量裂纹,组成环氧云母带的环氧树脂、云母和玻璃纤维出现分层、剥离、脱落现象,环氧树脂的黏合度降低。当外部电压存在时,其表面的电场分布将极为复杂[15],存在大量电场集中点,局部放电现象很容易在较低电压下发生。
内部放电模型老化前后在外施电压U=1.1 PDIV下的典型局部放电(phase-resolved partial discharge,PRPD)图谱如图5所示。由图5可知,老化前后内部放电模型PRPD图谱呈现出一定的对称性,这是因为微小气隙上、下表面的介质材料相同。放电活动主要集中在外施电压绝对值升高的第一和第三象限。从PRPD图谱的形貌特征上看,加速热老化使得内部缺陷线棒模型的局部放电相位宽度变窄,放电点的个数显著减少,放电密度下降。为进一步探究热老化对定子线棒各特征量的影响,从图谱中提取了最大放电量、平均放电量和放电重复率3个特征值[16],结果如图6所示。
图6可以看出,最大放电量在热老化后上升,但平均放电量和放电重复率却比热老化前下降,特别是放电重复率下降幅度较大。这说明热膨胀导致部分微小气隙消失,局部放电强度有所下降。
定子线棒槽部放电模型热老化前后在外施电压U=1.1 PDIV下的PRPD图谱变化如图7所示。
图7可知,槽部放电模型的相位分布范围比内部放电模型小,大致分布在33°~101°和206°~277°,但加速热老化并未对槽部放电的相位宽度产生影响。放电脉冲集中分布在第一象限和第三象限,第二和第四象限基本无放电活动。热老化使得线棒槽部放电模型在电压绝对值升高处有了更多的放电次数,图谱形状由“山丘”状转为“半椭圆”状,放电密度更大。同样从该PRPD图谱中提取最大放电量、平均放电量和放电重复率3个特征值,结果如图8所示。从图8可以看出,加速热老化后,槽部放电的3个放电参数均呈现出上升趋势,这说明热老化使得环氧云母带绝缘出现劣化,耐局部放电性能下降明显。槽部放电是一种常见的介质阻挡放电,其放电脉冲主要发生在环氧云母带绝缘表面[17],由图4可知,加速热老化使得环氧云母带表面出现了大量裂缝,环氧树脂、云母出现分离。若此时外施电压高于一定值,环氧云母带绝缘表面就会出现大量电场集中点,放电脉冲的强度和范围往往会比热老化之前更为剧烈。
定子线棒端部放电模型热老化前后在外施电压U=1.1 PDIV下的PRPD图谱变化如图9所示。由图9可知,端部放电的PRPD图谱不对称性明显,放电具有很强的极性效应。未热老化前,局部放电点只出现在外施电压负半周,放电相位位于外施电压负半周峰值处。加速热老化后,在1.1 PDIV外施电压作用下,电压正半周峰值处出现放电点。从图谱特征可以看出,端部放电的PRPD图谱符合电晕放电的特征,这是因为端部放电模型的放电本质为空气中的电晕放电[18],线棒端部某些尖端附近电场十分集中,造成附近的空气分子电离,形成正离子和电子[19]。由于两者的运动速度不同,正离子大量积聚在尖端附近,在外施电压负半周时加强尖端附近电场,而在正半轴时削弱尖端附近电场,这就造成了PRPD图谱的不对称性。从该PRPD图谱中提取最大的电量、平均放电量和放电重复量3个特征值,结果如图10所示。从图10可以看出,老化后端部放电的最大放电量、平均放电量和放电重复率均出现了上升的趋势。
本研究设计了3种发电机定子局部放电缺陷模型,并对其进行加速热老化试验,老化前后在外施电压为1.1 PDIV下进行局部放电测量试验,得到如下结论:
(1)加速热老化后,内部缺陷线棒模型的局部放电起始电压比热老化前提升了15.6%,而对于槽部放电和端部放电模型,其热老化后局部放电起始电压较老化前均存在一定程度的下降。
(2)内部放电模型的PRPD图谱呈现出一定的对称性,最大放电量在热老化后出现上升态势,但平均放电量和放电重复率相较于热老化前却出现下降;槽部放电模型在热老化后是PRPD图谱形状由“山丘”状转为“半椭圆”状,放电密度明显增大;端部放电模型的PRPD图谱在未热老化前放电点只出现在外施电压负半周,而热老化后电压正半周峰值处也出现放电点。
