Through adding 2-methyimidazolium cobalt (ZIF-67) nano-fillers into 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic anhydride (BPDA) - 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) type polyimide (PI) matrix, we prepared a PI/ZIF-67 three-layer composite films with sandwich structure. The structure of ZIF-67 and PI/ZIF-67 three-layer composite films were characterized by FTIR, XRD, and SEM, and the effect of ZIF-67 content on the thermal stability and dielectric property of the composite films was studied. The results show that when the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is less than 10%, the initial decomposition temperature of composite film is higher than 500℃, which shows good thermal stability. The dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite films is obviously lower than that of PI. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is 10%, the dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite film decreases by 50%. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is 5%, the dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite film decreases by 71%. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is less than 10.0%, the dielectric loss of PI/ZIF-67 composite film is slightly higher than that of pure PI.

在3,3′,4,4′-联苯四甲酸二酐(BPDA)-4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)型聚酰亚胺(PI)基体中引入2-甲基咪唑钴(ZIF-67)作为纳米填料,制备具有“三明治”结构的PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜。采用FTIR、XRD、SEM对ZIF-67及PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合薄膜的结构进行表征,研究ZIF-67含量对复合薄膜热稳定性、介电性能的影响。结果表明:当ZIF-67质量分数在10%以内时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的初始分解温度大于500℃,具有较好的热稳定性;PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介电常数明显低于PI,当ZIF-67的质量分数为10%时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介电常数下降幅度可达50%;当ZIF-67质量分数为5%时,介电常数下降幅度达到71%。与不含ZIF-67的纯PI相比,ZIF-67质量分数低于10%的PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介质损耗略有提高。

在3,3′,4,4′-联苯四甲酸二酐(BPDA)-4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)型聚酰亚胺(PI)基体中引入2-甲基咪唑钴(ZIF-67)作为纳米填料,制备具有“三明治”结构的PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜。采用FTIR、XRD、SEM对ZIF-67及PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合薄膜的结构进行表征,研究ZIF-67含量对复合薄膜热稳定性、介电性能的影响。结果表明:当ZIF-67质量分数在10%以内时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的初始分解温度大于500℃,具有较好的热稳定性;PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介电常数明显低于PI,当ZIF-67的质量分数为10%时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介电常数下降幅度可达50%;当ZIF-67质量分数为5%时,介电常数下降幅度达到71%。与不含ZIF-67的纯PI相比,ZIF-67质量分数低于10%的PI/ZIF-67三层复合薄膜的介质损耗略有提高。

聚酰亚胺  /  ZIF-67  /  杂化膜

Through adding 2-methyimidazolium cobalt (ZIF-67) nano-fillers into 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic anhydride (BPDA) - 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) type polyimide (PI) matrix, we prepared a PI/ZIF-67 three-layer composite films with sandwich structure. The structure of ZIF-67 and PI/ZIF-67 three-layer composite films were characterized by FTIR, XRD, and SEM, and the effect of ZIF-67 content on the thermal stability and dielectric property of the composite films was studied. The results show that when the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is less than 10%, the initial decomposition temperature of composite film is higher than 500℃, which shows good thermal stability. The dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite films is obviously lower than that of PI. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is 10%, the dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite film decreases by 50%. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is 5%, the dielectric constant of PI/ZIF-67 composite film decreases by 71%. When the mass fraction of ZIF-67 is less than 10.0%, the dielectric loss of PI/ZIF-67 composite film is slightly higher than that of pure PI.

5G时代,整个网络体验的延迟更短、可靠性更高,并且5G环境能够支撑很多关键性任务的完成。2020年初新冠肺炎疫情期间,5G在远程医疗、公共监控、智慧教育、远程办公、巡检物流等领域发挥了重要作用。相较于4G,5G通讯发展对PCB基材提出了更高的性能要求,开发具有低传输时延、低成本、高可靠性的覆铜板材料受到极大关注1。聚酰亚胺具有优异的综合性能,是柔性PCB基材的首选材料,可用于高频高速通信领域。然而,传统聚酰亚胺介电常数为3.3左右,介质损耗因数为0.22左右,远不能满足5G对PCB基材低介电常数及低介质损耗的要求2-4。在聚酰亚胺中引入改善介电性能的氟基团或纳米级空气孔洞,可使材料获得优异的介电性能5-12。李磊等9将硅烷偶联剂和超声分散处理的分子筛与聚硅氧烷酰胺酸共聚物共混,制备了一系列聚酰亚胺/分子筛复合薄膜,复合薄膜的介电常数随着分子筛含量的增加而降低,当分子筛质量分数为3%时,薄膜的介电常数由初始的3.02下降为2.72,介质损耗因数由初始的0.005 0增大为0.005 4。
金属有机骨架(MOFs)是由金属中心和有机基团连接形成的三维网状纳米粒子,由于其具有微孔性、高结晶度、高比表面积、孔道结构等优点而得到广泛的关注。沸石咪唑酯骨架结构材料(ZIFs)是由二价金属Zn、Co和咪唑及其衍生物配体在有机溶剂中反应生成的一种具有沸石骨架结构的MOFs材料,具有四面体框架结构13-16。ZIFs的热稳定性比其他MOFs更优异,应用于聚酰亚胺,在保证高温亚胺化顺利完成的同时,还可以保持其初始结构的稳定性17-18。本研究合成具有纳米孔洞结构的2-甲基咪唑钴(ZIF-67),并与聚酰胺酸共混再经高温亚胺化制备PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜。运用FTIR、XRD、SEM对ZIF-67及PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜进行表征,并对该复合膜的热性能和介电性能进行研究。
4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)、分析纯,3,3′4,4-联苯四甲酸二酐(BPDA)、纯度≥99.0%,广东翁江化学试剂有限公司;N,N-二甲基乙酰胺(DMAc)、分析纯,2-甲基咪唑、纯度为98%,阿拉丁试剂(上海)有限公司;六水合硝酸钴(CO(NO32·6H2O),分析纯,上海凛恩科技发展有限公司;超支化大分子分散剂,型号为Silok Dispers 7455,斯洛柯高分子聚合物有限公司;甲醇,分析纯,西陇科学股份有限公司。
Tensor型傅里叶红外光谱仪、D8-Advance型X射线衍射仪,德国布鲁克公司;Quanta FEG 450型场发射扫描电子显微镜,美国FEI公司;STA449 F3型热重分析仪,德国Netzsch公司;4294A型精密阻抗分析仪,美国Agilent公司。
称取0.4 g ODA加入到装有10 mL DMAc的锥形瓶中搅拌溶解,按PBDA与ODA摩尔比为1.02∶1称取BPDA,在搅拌条件下分批加入到溶有ODA的锥形瓶中,半小时内加完,最终得到固含量为10%的PAA。
根据文献[17-18],将2-甲基咪唑(HmIm)(0.056 7 mol,4.656 g)溶于250 mL甲醇中,得到溶液1;称取六水合硝酸钴(n(CO(NO3)26H2O)n (HmIm)=1∶4)溶于250 mL甲醇中得到溶液2;在剧烈搅拌的条件下将溶液1缓慢倒入溶液2中,持续剧烈搅拌10 min,室温下静置24 h;在转速为8 000 r/min的条件下离心5 min,所得沉淀用甲醇洗涤3次,在60℃真空烘箱中干燥24 h,得到样品ZIF-67,随后进行研磨。分别称取质量分数为1%、2%、3%、4%、5%、10%、15%的ZIF-67加入滴有0.05 mL超支化分散剂的DMAc溶液中,超声30 min得到ZIF-67分散液。
将ZIF-67分散液在搅拌条件下缓慢加入到PAA溶液中,持续搅拌4 h,得到PAA/ZIF-67悬浮液。将加热板调至80℃,在洗净的玻璃板上涂覆一层厚度为250 μm的PAA,置于加热板上加热5 min,冷却2 min;随后涂覆一层厚度为250 μm的PAA/ZIF-67,加热5 min,冷却2 min;最后涂覆一层厚度为250 μm的PAA,置于加热板上加热5 min,冷却2 min。随后将该玻璃板移至高温烘箱中,升温程序为室温+80℃/30 min+120℃/30 min+170℃/30 min+230℃/30 min+300℃/30 min+350℃/30 min,最终制得PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜。分别将ZIF-67质量分数为1%、2%、3%、4%、5%、10%、15%的PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜记为PI-1、PI-2、PI-3、PI-4、PI-5、PI-10、PI-15。
图1为试验合成的ZIF-67样品和模拟结构的XRD图17。从图1可以看出,ZIF-67的出峰位置及峰强度与模拟的ZIF-67基本一致,即(011)、(002)、(112)、(022)、(013)、(222)、(114)、(233)、(134)。这表明实验合成的ZIF-67是结晶度高的纯相ZIF-67。
图2为ZIF-67晶粒的SEM和由ZIF-67分子结构模拟得到的晶体结构图。由图2可知,ZIF-67晶粒为外观规则的晶体结构,晶粒大小均匀,平均粒径为300 nm左右,形状为规则的多面体,与由ZIF-67分子结构模拟得到的ZIF-67晶粒外形一致20。由于合成的ZIF-67颗粒粒径较小,比表面能较大,导致晶粒间易发生团聚,增加了ZIF-67在聚酰亚胺中分散的难度。
图3为PAA/ZIF-67和PI/ZIF-67两种三层复合膜的红外光谱图。由图3(b)可以看出,在1 774、1 706、1 369 cm-1处的吸收峰分别为五元亚胺环中 C=O的不对称、对称伸缩振动以及C-N伸缩振动特征峰;1 618 cm-1与1 500 cm-1处的吸收峰是苯环的骨架振动峰;1 242 cm-1处是C-O的骨架振动特征峰;736 cm-1处是五元亚胺环的C=O弯曲振动特征峰。与图3(a)相比,图3(b)在3 500 、2 500 cm-1附近的羧基特征吸收峰消失,说明含有ZIF-67的PAA在高温条件下完全亚胺化,ZIF-67的加入没有影响PAA的亚胺化及成膜性。
图4为PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的XRD曲线。由图4可知,PI-1、PI-2、PI-3、PI-4、PI-5、PI-10、PI-15与PI的X射线衍射图相同,结晶度较高的ZIF-67加入到无定形态聚酰亚胺基体中,对其分子形态没有明显的影响。在2θ为15°~25°出现一个较宽的衍射峰,并没有出现类似于ZIF-67尖锐的晶体特征峰,说明PI的无定形态并没有因为引入高度结晶的ZIF-67晶粒而受到破坏,聚合物仍具有良好的成膜性。
图5(a)为PI-15三层复合膜的断面SEM图,可以看出膜的组成部分有3层,中间层PI/ZIF-67的厚度明显比外层的PI厚,而实验铺膜时铺膜厚度是一致的,这可能是前驱体PAA/ZIF-67的黏度比PAA的大导致的。图5(b)为PI-15三层复合膜断面80 000倍的SEM图,可以看出样品的断面呈“山脊”状,断面存在明显的树脂凸起和凹坑,呈现韧性断裂特征,这说明ZIF-67的加入没有使膜变脆。此外,断面上没有观察到ZIF-67粒子,也说明ZIF-67粒子与聚酰亚胺基体具有良好的相容性和界面粘结。
图6为ZIF-67和PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的热失重曲线,表1为ZIF-67及PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的热性能。
图6表1可以看出,ZIF-67的初始分解温度T5%(热失重达到5%时的温度)为430.1℃,PI的T5%为550.8℃。PI-1、PI-2、PI-3、PI-4、PI-5的初始分解温度为520.0℃左右,PI-10的初始分解温度降至502.2℃,PI-15的初始分解温度下降至465.2℃。相对于PI,PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的初始分解温度下降,主要由其中的ZIF-67分解引起,其中PI的热稳定性并没有受到影响。虽然ZIF-67加入PI中导致PI/ZIF-67的T5%显著下降,但是PI/ZIF-67的初始分解温度仍达到460℃以上,远高于ZIF-67的T5%,可以认为仍具有良好的热稳定性。
使用精密阻抗分析仪对PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜进行介电性能测量,再通过式(1)~(2)计算得到不同PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜在频率为1 kHz时的相对介电常数和介质损耗因数,结果如表2所示。初始频率为 1 kHz,终止频率为110 MHz。

式(1)~(2)中:εr是样品的相对介电常数;C是样品测试的电荷;ε0是真空电容率,为8.85×10-12 F/m;Sd分别表示样品的面积和厚度;D表示介质损耗。

图7是根据表2画出不同含量ZIF-67的PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的相对介电常数和介质损耗因数变化图。
图7表2可见,随着ZIF-67质量分数的增加,复合膜的相对介电常数先减小后增大。当ZIF-67质量分数为5%时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的介电常数最低,相对于PI的介电常数降幅达到71%;当ZIF-67质量分数达到10%时,复合膜的相对介电常数又增大。这归因于PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜结构的中间层为高含量的ZIF-67,ZIF-67的大孔隙率可以大幅降低单位体积内的极性基团数量,并使PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的密度降低,导致介电常数大幅下降。当ZIF-67含量增加到一定程度,PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜中间层中的ZIF-67因不易分散造成堆积,导致界面极化率增加,从而使相对介电常数增大。
图7表2还可以看出,PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的介质损耗因数相对PI均有不同程度的增加,其中PI-15的介质损耗因数达到0.044 3,这主要是由于ZIF-67含量增加,导致层间界面缺陷增加。当ZIF-67质量分数小于10%时,PI/ZIF-67三层复合膜的介质损耗因数低于0.023 5,具有相对较低的介质损耗。
(1)试验合成的ZIF-67为尺寸均匀、形貌规整及晶体结构规整的目标产物,PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜具有清晰的“三明治”结构并具有良好的韧性。
(2)相对于PI,PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜的初始分解温度下降,当ZIF-67质量分数低于10%时,其初始分解温度在500℃以上,具有良好的热稳定性。
(3)PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合膜的相对介电常数随着ZIF-67含量的增加先减小后增大,在质量分数为5%时,相对介电常数下降幅度达到71%。相对于PI的介质损耗因数,PI/ZIF-67三层纳米复合薄膜的介质损耗因数增大,当ZIF-67的质量分数低于10%时,PI/ZIF-67的介质损耗因数低于0.023 5。
