The influence of the geometric size and complex capacitance measurement error on the dielectric spectrum measurement errors of contact and non-contact methods was theoretically analyzed, and the two errors were compared. The influence of electrode gap distance and dielectric constant of sample on the dielectric spectrum measurement errors was simulated and analyzed. On the basis of dielectric spectra of high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber obtained by dielectric spectrometer, the influence of measurement errors of the geometric size (sample thickness) on the accuracy of measurement results for contact and non-contact methods was analyzed. The results show that the non-contact method is much more affected by the measurement accuracy of the geometric size and complex capacitance than the contact method, and it has high requirement on the instrument accuracy and is easier to produce significant errors than the contact method. With the increase of relative dielectric constant of the sample, the measurement error of relative dielectric constant by non-contact method dramatically increases and then gradually becomes stable. When the relative dielectric constant of the sample is no more than 5, with the increase of electrode gap distance, the measurement error of the relative dielectric constant dramatically increases. The non-contact method is suitable for the occasion with high measurement accuracy of the geometric size and dielectric constant.

理论分析了几何尺寸测量误差和复电容测量误差对接触法和非接触法介电谱测量误差的影响,并对二者的误差进行了比较,然后对电极间隙距离、试样介电常数对介电谱测量误差的影响进行了仿真分析。基于介电谱仪测量得到高温硫化硅橡胶的介电谱,分析了几何尺寸(试样厚度)测量误差对接触法和非接触法测量结果准确性的影响。结果表明:非接触法受几何尺寸和复电容测量准确性的影响比接触法要大,对仪器测量的准确性要求较高,容易产生比接触法更大的误差。非接触法的相对介电常数测量误差随试样相对介电常数的增加先快速增大然后逐渐稳定;试样相对介电常数不大于5时,随着电极间隙距离的增加,相对介电常数的测量误差快速增大。非接触法适用于几何尺寸和介电常数测量准确性足够高的场合。

The influence of the geometric size and complex capacitance measurement error on the dielectric spectrum measurement errors of contact and non-contact methods was theoretically analyzed, and the two errors were compared. The influence of electrode gap distance and dielectric constant of sample on the dielectric spectrum measurement errors was simulated and analyzed. On the basis of dielectric spectra of high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber obtained by dielectric spectrometer, the influence of measurement errors of the geometric size (sample thickness) on the accuracy of measurement results for contact and non-contact methods was analyzed. The results show that the non-contact method is much more affected by the measurement accuracy of the geometric size and complex capacitance than the contact method, and it has high requirement on the instrument accuracy and is easier to produce significant errors than the contact method. With the increase of relative dielectric constant of the sample, the measurement error of relative dielectric constant by non-contact method dramatically increases and then gradually becomes stable. When the relative dielectric constant of the sample is no more than 5, with the increase of electrode gap distance, the measurement error of the relative dielectric constant dramatically increases. The non-contact method is suitable for the occasion with high measurement accuracy of the geometric size and dielectric constant.

绝缘材料主要有3大电气性能,即介电性能、导电性能和电气强度[1]。其中介电性能主要反映绝缘材料在电场作用下的极化和去极化状况及导致的结果。表征材料介电性能的主要参数是相对介电常数以及介质损耗因数。介电谱[2]是在一定温度和频率范围内描述介电常数和介质损耗因数变化的曲线,可以反映材料的介电性能及其变化情况,介电谱测量与局部放电测量并列为绝缘材料的两种非破坏性检测方法[3]。材料在受潮[4]或老化后介电谱往往会发生显著变化,因此,它是目前绝缘材料电性能检测方面的研究热点[5-9]
目前,介电谱测量通常采用的是接触法[10],其原理是将规则平整的材料放置于电极之间,材料上、下表面分别接触上、下电极,材料在电极间电场作用下极化,通过施加不同频率的电压即可得到介电谱。目前基于接触法测量介电谱得到了一些有价值的结论,显著推动了绝缘材料电性能分析和诊断领域的进步。但它也存在如下问题:①电极与材料接触不良会引入附加的接触电阻,虽然在材料表面附加良好的导电层也能解决接触电阻问题,但可能存在改变材料性能、毒性和工作量较大等问题[11-12];②测量得到的介电谱中,材料绝缘电阻的影响不能排除,这在低频下尤其明显。以上问题可能会显著影响介电谱测量的准确性,因此,研究人员提出采用基于空气参考法[12]的非接触法(后续简称非接触法)[13-15]测量材料的介电谱,在此之前,该方法在电容器薄膜测量等方面已经成为了标准[16-17]。近来也有研究指出该方法可以排除介电谱中绝缘电阻的影响,并用实验进行了验证[18]。虽然非接触法已经成为了某些绝缘材料介电谱测量的标准方法[19],但在常规配置下,非接触法与接触法之间误差的比较和方法选择问题尚未见到报道。该问题会影响介电谱测量方法的选择,进而影响测量结果的准确性,因此迫切需要进一步研究。
本研究介绍接触法和非接触法的基本原理和计算流程,比较厚度比和电容比的准确性对两种方法准确性的影响。对电极间隙距离、试样介电常数对介电谱测量误差的影响进行仿真分析。基于介电谱仪测量得到高温硫化硅橡胶的介电谱,分析几何尺寸(试样厚度)测量误差对介电谱测量结果准确性的影响,根据研究结果给出非接触法适合的应用范围。
介电谱测量原理如图1所示。图1中,Z1为试样对应的阻抗,Z2为传感器对应的阻抗,U1为测量时施加的电压,U2为传感器上的电压。U1U2Z2为已知值,Z1可采用式(1)计算获得,根据Z1可算得试样的复电容C1

接触法的测量原理如图2所示。测量时试样与上、下电极直接接触,为了减少边缘效应导致的误差,常采用三电极系统。

试样表面的凹凸不平会导致电极与试样之间的接触电阻增加,进一步增大测量误差。同时,Z2的测量结果可能会有误差,且其测量值可能会随着温度等环境因素的变化而变化,这也会引入误差。另外,该方法不能排除绝缘电阻的损耗。
为了抑制外界电磁场的影响,接触法和非接触法测量时电极系统均放入屏蔽盒中。
为了抑制接触法给介电谱测量带来的误差,提高测量准确性,有学者采用了基于空气参考法的非接触法[13-15]来代替接触法。该方法中试样并不与上电极直接接触,在极间为纯空气和含有试样的情况下分别测量一次介电谱,然后根据得到的复电容及尺寸参数计算试样的相对介电常数,具体原理如图3所示。
d2为电极间隙距离,在极间为纯空气和含有试样情况下用图3所示电极测量得到的复电容分别为C2C3。假设极间电场均匀,则C2C3式(4)和(5)所示。

因非接触法计算过程中无需直接用到Z2,故该方法对Z2测量的准确性没有要求,仅要求介电谱测量时其值保持稳定即可,从而提高了介电谱测量的准确性。

由式(13)、(15)、(20)、(21)可知,几何尺寸(试样厚度和电极间隙距离)测量误差和复电容测量误差对非接触法相对介电常数测量造成的误差通常要大于对接触法造成的误差,由式(20)~(21)可知,随着εr的增加,非接触法误差增加更快。
本节研究电极间隙距离和试样的相对介电常数对两种方法测量结果的影响。
假设电容和介质损耗因数测量误差为均匀分布的随机变量。选用Megger集团有限公司生产的IDAX 300型介电谱仪进行仿真分析,其电容测量误差为(0.5%+1)pF;在10-3~102 Hz下介质损耗因数测量误差为(1% +0.000 3),在102~103 Hz下的误差为(2%+0.000 5)。因此,仿真中电容和介质损耗因数误差最大值分别为(0.5%+1)pF和(1.5%+0.000 4)。与之类似,几何尺寸(试样厚度和电极间隙距离)测量误差包含一个与尺寸有关(考虑测量时的材料形变)和无关的随机变量,前者为均匀分布的随机变量,在准确值的±3%范围内变化,后者为正态分布的随机变量,标准差暂定为0.001 5 mm(参考螺旋测微器的精度)。每组参数数据随机产生1 000 000次,采用式(3)、(8)~(11)计算相对介电常数。
试样厚度分别取0.05、0.60、2.00、4.50 mm,介质损耗因数在0.01%~100%均匀变化,距离比dr分别为0.5、0.6、0.8、0.9。相对介电常数模值(简称为相对介电常数)在2~100变化。两种方法测量得到介电常数实部、虚部和介质损耗因数相对误差随相对介电常数的变化情况如图46所示。相对测量误差为误差与相对介电常数之比。
图46可以看出,非接触法的测量误差明显大于接触法的测量误差,介电常数在2~100变化时,前者误差为后者的1~890.04倍,均值为158.76倍。随着试样相对介电常数的增大,非接触法相对介电常数测量相对误差呈近似线性增加的趋势。随着介电常数的进一步增大,其相对误差趋于稳定甚至有所减小。这是因为式(15)仅表示Δdr和ΔK足够小时基于非接触法的相对介电常数测量误差近似表达式,随着相对介电常数的增大,ΔK未必足够小,误差的变化规律未必严格满足式(15)。实际情况中drK的相对误差均不大,由式(8)可知εr的误差基本不会超过其本身。此时,即使相对介电常数明显增大,相对介电常数的相对误差也不会显著增大。
图46还可以看出,当相对介电常数较小时,随着相对介电常数的增加,接触法的相对误差存在下降的趋势,然后趋于稳定值。这是因为由介电谱仪的特性可知,ΔC1由与C1无关的分量和与C1成正比的分量组成,随着相对介电常数的增大,C1逐渐增大,ΔC1/C1会随之减小,然后会趋于稳定值。厚度为0.05 mm的试样对应结果误差更大是因为此时尺寸的相对测量误差更大导致Δd1/d1变大所致。接触法测得的介质损耗因数误差不随相对介电常数的变化而变化,这是因为相对介电常数的变化会改变C1的真实值,但对介质损耗因数误差没有影响。
以上仿真结果与前面的理论分析结果基本吻合。
对于非接触法,试样厚度为2 mm,电极间隙距离在2.4~6.0 mm变化;对于接触法,电极间隙距离即试样厚度在2.4~6.0 mm变化;试样介电常数分别为2、5、30、100,其他参数与2.2.2节一致。不同相对介电常数下,两种方法测量得到介电常数实部、虚部和介质损耗因数误差随电极间隙距离的变化情况如图79所示。
图79可知,非接触法的误差大于接触法的误差。电极间隙距离在2.4~6.0 mm变化时,前者误差为后者的1~58.25倍,均值为10.07倍。对于非接触法,当介电常数较小(不大于5)时,在试样厚度保持不变的情况下相对介电常数和介质损耗因数测量误差随着电极间隙距离的增加而快速增加。从图78还可以看出,随着电极间隙距离的增加,介电常数实部和虚部误差近似呈指数增加。因此,采用非接触法时应选择尽量小的电极间隙距离。当相对介电常数较大时,误差基本不随电极间隙距离的增加而增大,其原因是虽然电极间隙距离较小,但此时非接触法的误差较大,而drK的相对误差均不大,由式(8)可知εr的误差基本不会超过其本身。也就是说,此时即使电极间隙距离明显增大,相对介电常数的相对误差也不会显著增大。
图78可知,接触法相对介电常数的实部和虚部误差随着试样厚度(此时试样厚度等于电极间隙距离)的增加有增加的趋势。这是因为随着试样厚度的增加,电容值下降,根据介电谱仪误差特性可知,ΔC1由与C1无关的分量和与C1成正比的分量组成,随着试样厚度的增加,C1减小,ΔC1/C1增大,该规律在介电常数和C1较小时比较明显,由式(13)可知有以上结果。在相对介电常数较大时,ΔC1/C1趋于稳定值,不随试样厚度的增加而增大。因此,相对介电常数较大时,随着电极间隙距离的增加,误差基本不会增大。接触法测得的介质损耗因数误差不随相对介电常数的变化而变化,这是因为相对介电常数的变化会改变C1的真实值,但对介质损耗因数误差分布没有影响。
以上仿真结果与前面的理论分析结果基本吻合。
考虑到IDAX 300型介电谱仪复电容测量误差通常小于试样厚度和电极间隙距离的测量误差,本节着重分析几何尺寸对测量误差的影响。由于非接触法的影响因素是试样厚度与电极间隙距离之比,如果认为电极间隙距离测量结果完全准确,则试样厚度的相对误差等价于距离比dr的测量误差,但这样分析得到非接触法的测量误差也许会比实际情况小。因此,采用3种直接测量方法和3种间接测量方法测量试样厚度,3种直接测量方法所用仪器分别为哈尔滨量具刃具集团有限责任公司生产的机械式游标卡尺和宝工实业股份有限公司生产的PD-153型机械式游标卡尺(二者精度均为0.02 mm),以及一款精度为0.001 mm的三量精准型高精度数显千分尺。为了减少测量时压力导致的试样变形,间接测量法也用以上3种仪器测量厚度,但采用2片玻璃夹着试样测量,每片玻璃的厚度测量20个点后取平均值。以上6种方法分别称为方法1~6。每种方法测量10次,为减小误差,测量由同一人完成,得到高温硫化硅橡胶(HTV)试样测量结果的均值和标准差如表1所示。
表1可知,不同方法测量结果存在一定程度的波动,6种方法测得厚度均值的最大差距仍可达0.070 7 mm,多种方法测得试样厚度均值为3.241 1 mm,前者约为后者的2.18%。而且,不同次测量结果也存在波动。另外,不同人之间测量结果的差距也许比同一人测量结果更大一些。也就是说几何尺寸测量误差可能会比表1中的数据大,因此在后续的分析中试样厚度测量误差选择为3%。
采用Megger集团有限公司生产的IDAX 300型介电谱仪,基于接触法和非接触法在70℃下测量高温硫化硅橡胶试样的介电谱,频率在10-3~103 Hz变化。为了考察测量结果的稳定性,对试样介电谱重复测量3次。在试样的10个位置采用螺旋测微器测得厚度均值为2.242 7 mm。温度采用恒温箱调节。两种方法测量结果如图10所示。从图10可以看出,在低频时非接触法测得的相对介电常数虚部和介质损耗因数均要明显小于接触法的测量结果,这与文献[18]的结果吻合。
采用图10采用非接触法实测得到70℃时HTV的介电谱为基础数据(准确值)。参考表1分析厚度测量的不稳定性,计算了两种方法在试样厚度为测量值的0.97、0.99、1.01、1.03倍时的介电谱误差,结果如图1113所示。从图1113可以看出,试样厚度测量误差对非接触法测量结果的影响明显大于对接触法测量结果的影响,尤其是接触法的介质损耗因数,完全不受尺寸测量误差的影响。这与式(3)吻合,因为d1的误差仅仅会同时增大或减小相对介电常数的实部和虚部,不会改变介质损耗。分析表1数据可知,产生0.06 mm的测量误差也完全可能。因此,非接触法对测量仪器有较高的要求。
进一步分析图11数据可以看出,试样厚度在测量值的0.97~1.03倍变化时,给非接触法介电常数实部带来的误差是接触法对应误差的0.54~18.49倍,均值为3.17倍。分析图12数据可以看出,试样厚度在测量值的0.97~1.03倍变化时,给非接触法介电常数虚部带来的误差是接触法对应误差的0.62~27.09倍,均值为5.96倍。整体上看,非接触法误差为接触法的0.54~27.09倍,均值为4.57倍。由于试样厚度变化不会给接触法测得的介质损耗带来误差,故不针对这种情况进行进一步定量分析。
介电谱仪的稳定性通常较高,尤其是同一台仪器多次测量结果比较稳定,因此复电容测量误差并不容易反映到测量结果中。而弹性体试样在厚度测量时容易变形,不同仪器、测量方式和测试者得到的测量结果不同,甚至差别很大,电极间隙距离的测量结果也类似。外界条件如温度的变化会进一步增大误差。这些因素是导致非接触法测量结果不稳定或不准确的重要原因。因此,如何准确测量试样的厚度和电极间隙距离是非接触法的关键。
由以上分析可知,尺寸和复电容测量误差给非接触法带来的影响大于给接触法带来的影响。虽然非接触法没有电极与材料的接触问题,能排除绝缘电阻的影响,但对试样厚度、电极间隙距离和介电谱测量准确性提出了较高的要求,它更适合于几何尺寸和复电容测量准确性很高且相对介电常数较小的情况下使用。接触法的突出优点是对试样厚度和介电谱测量准确性的要求较低。除非机械尺寸和相对介电常数测量准确性足够高,否则应该选择接触法测量绝缘材料的介电谱。
(1)介电常数在2~100变化时,非接触法误差为接触法误差的1~890.04倍,均值为158.76倍。试样厚度为2 mm、电极间隙距离在2.4~6 mm变化时,非接触法误差为接触法误差的1~58.25倍,均值为10.07倍。非接触法相对介电常数的相对误差随相对介电常数的增加而近似线性增大后逐渐趋于稳定值;当绝缘材料相对介电常数不大于5时,随着电极间隙距离的增加,相对介电常数及介质损耗因数的相对误差存在增大的趋势,前者误差近似成指数规律增加,因此非接触法应该选择尽量小的电极间隙距离。
(2)非接触法受试样厚度和复电容测量准确性的影响比接触法更大,高温硫化硅橡胶试样厚度在实测值0.97~1.03倍变化时,前者误差为后者的0.54~27.09倍,均值为4.57倍;非接触法应该在几何尺寸和介电常数测量准确性足够高的场合下使用,否则很容易产生比接触法更大的误差。
