The partial discharge (PD) in high voltage switch cabinet might develop into non-penetrating or penetrating arc under extreme conditions, which can lead to insulation failure in severe case. From the optical radiation characteristics of discharge, an optical detection method for PD and abnormal arc was proposed. Multi-spectral characteristics of creeping discharge and arc discharge were obtained by the synchronous monitoring of ultraviolet, visible, and infrared optical signals, and the average intensity of light pulse, the light intensity ratio of three bands, and discharge repetition rate were analyzed and compared. The results show that there is a good corresponding relation between the amplitude of discharge light signal and the applied voltage. The statistical characteristics of three bands show large difference in low and high energy discharge, and according to the characteristic, the threshold value of low energy discharge and high energy arc discharge can be determined, thus the confidence of status warning and active protection of switch cabinet can be improved.

在极端条件下,高压开关柜中的局部放电可发展为非贯穿或贯穿性电弧,导致严重绝缘失效。从放电的光辐射特性出发,提出了一种针对局部放电和异常电弧的光学检测方法,利用紫外光、可见光和红外光三波段光信号的同步监测,获得了沿面放电和电弧放电的多光谱光脉冲特性,并对比分析其平均光脉冲强度、三波段光强占比和放电重复率。结果表明:放电光信号幅值与外施电压存在良好的对应关系,三个波段的统计特征在低能放电和高能放电中表现出较大差异,可依据此特征制定低能放电和高能电弧放电的判别阈值,从而提高开关柜状态预警和主动保护的置信度。

在极端条件下,高压开关柜中的局部放电可发展为非贯穿或贯穿性电弧,导致严重绝缘失效。从放电的光辐射特性出发,提出了一种针对局部放电和异常电弧的光学检测方法,利用紫外光、可见光和红外光三波段光信号的同步监测,获得了沿面放电和电弧放电的多光谱光脉冲特性,并对比分析其平均光脉冲强度、三波段光强占比和放电重复率。结果表明:放电光信号幅值与外施电压存在良好的对应关系,三个波段的统计特征在低能放电和高能放电中表现出较大差异,可依据此特征制定低能放电和高能电弧放电的判别阈值,从而提高开关柜状态预警和主动保护的置信度。

The partial discharge (PD) in high voltage switch cabinet might develop into non-penetrating or penetrating arc under extreme conditions, which can lead to insulation failure in severe case. From the optical radiation characteristics of discharge, an optical detection method for PD and abnormal arc was proposed. Multi-spectral characteristics of creeping discharge and arc discharge were obtained by the synchronous monitoring of ultraviolet, visible, and infrared optical signals, and the average intensity of light pulse, the light intensity ratio of three bands, and discharge repetition rate were analyzed and compared. The results show that there is a good corresponding relation between the amplitude of discharge light signal and the applied voltage. The statistical characteristics of three bands show large difference in low and high energy discharge, and according to the characteristic, the threshold value of low energy discharge and high energy arc discharge can be determined, thus the confidence of status warning and active protection of switch cabinet can be improved.

开关柜是电力系统中重要的设备之一,其主要作用是在发电、输电、配电和电力转换过程中实现控制和保护[1]。对开关柜运行状态的检测、故障的准确预测和及时维护是保障电力系统安全运行的关键。然而,开关柜在长期运行过程中由于绝缘劣化、异物碎屑、机械振动等原因会造成各类绝缘缺陷。在运行过程中,绝缘缺陷可能会引发开关柜内部发生局部放电,甚至发展成为贯穿性击穿,最终造成电弧放电等严重故障[1]。因此,开展开关柜内局部放电和电弧检测具有重要意义。现阶段,针对局部放电的检测,提出了脉冲电流法(ERA)[2]、超高频法(UHF)[3]、暂态低电压法(TEV)[4]、超声法(AE)[5]等,但其实际应用效果依旧存在现场噪声来源复杂、检测置信度较低、诊断结论模糊[2-3]等问题。对于电弧放电的监测和保护,大多采用弧光阈值监测[6]作为开关柜继电保护方法,但该方法无法对光辐射强度较弱的局部放电做出响应。事实上,具有不同能量级别的放电一般伴随着不同的辐射光谱。利用多个宽光谱内的信号差异,就可以较为直观地评估放电的类型和严重程度,不再需要较为复杂的聚类算法或去噪算法[7-10]。然而,对于低能放电,其光辐射量较低,且光脉冲持续时间很短(大约几百皮秒至1纳秒),一般需要采用高灵敏度、宽谱响应和高时间分辨率的光电倍增管(PMT)作为光子探测装置,但由于其尺寸较大、驱动电压较高、抗电磁能力较差等问题,难以应用于工业化的开关柜放电监测中[11-12]
随着硅固体光电技术的发展,具有微型封装结构的单光子级光敏器件应运而生,其中以雪崩光电二极管(APD)和硅光电倍增管(SiPM)[13]为代表。由于其具有尺寸(毫米级)小、量子效率(约为40%)高、电磁干扰免疫能力强[14]等优点,已成为可替代PMT的下一代弱光探测器件。本研究以SiPM阵列为探测基底,研制一种具有3个宽光谱响应区间的传感器阵列。利用紫外光、可见光和红外光三波段光信号的同步监测,研究沿面放电和电弧放电的多光谱光脉冲特性;通过对比不同能量放电的平均光脉冲强度、三波段光强占比和放电重复率,分析3个波段的统计特征在低能放电和高能放电中的差异,依据此特征制定低能放电和高能电弧放电的判别阈值。基于此提出一种区分局部放电、电弧放电等不同能量放电的风险评估方法,探索开关设备状态监测与主动保护相结合的可能性。
在单片SiPM的基础上,PD多光谱检测传感器需要具备同时在多个光谱内获取局部放电数据的能力,本研究选用SensL公司生产的ARRAYJ-30035型的SiPM阵列,并选取Sigma公司生产的紫外光、可见光和近红外光波段下的带通滤光片对PD辐射的不同光谱波段信号进行检测。SiPM尺寸数量级远小于有效探测长度的数量级,因此可以忽略传感器3个区域的光程差,将PD作为点光源。滤光片光透过技术参数如图1表1所示。
沿面放电和电弧放电模拟结构如图2所示,高压棒电极紧贴直径为60 mm、厚度为0.2 μm的环氧树脂圆形板并紧放在下极板上,在高压电极上施加工频周期电压后,在棒电极与下极板间产生了强烈的与环氧树脂板面垂直的电场。金属棒电极直径为6 mm,圆柱边沿曲率半径为1 mm。
基于SiPM的放电检测试验平台如图3所示,试验罐内通入自然空气以模拟开关柜内封闭空间,带有三波段滤光片的SiPM用于检测放电光脉冲信号并转换为电信号输出,光电转换模块将电信号转换成光信号并用光纤传输,从而避免在输出信号的过程中电磁耦合产生噪声干扰,并在信号收集处理端口将光信号转换成电信号。分压器上的电压信号、罗氏线圈上的放电脉冲信号和光脉冲信号用示波器的3个通道分别记录。
本研究通过增加采样次数的方式减小放电随机性带来的误差,采样200个工频周期内的放电光脉冲信号并叠加在一个工频周期相位上来获取放电光信号的统计特性,定义如下参数。
(1)平均光脉冲幅值LPDLPD表示分布一个相位窗口内所有光脉冲幅值的平均值,在本研究中选择相位窗口为6°,即将工频周期分为了60个窗口,LPD的计算方法如式(1)

式(1)中:n为窗口内光脉冲数量;Ln为第n个光脉冲的幅值。
(2)放电重复率PP表示平均每秒局部放电脉冲的次数。
(3)波段光强占比IjIj表示(单/多)窗口内紫外、可见光和红外波段光脉冲幅值占窗口内总光脉冲幅值的比例,如式(2)所示。

沿面放电试验分别在外施电压为1.1、1.3、1.6、1.8、2.0、2.3、2.5倍PDIV(UP=4.54 kV)下采集200个工频周期内的沿面放电光脉冲信号。
按照式(1),计算6°相位窗口的平均光脉冲强度并按先后顺序连线,绘制得到光脉冲幅值包络线如图4所示。由图4可知,当外施电压为1.1UP时,在正半周30°和负半周200°均出现了PD光信号,出现红外光的相位区间均窄于紫外光和可见光。随着外施电压的增加,三波段光脉冲信号均出现了“相位左移”和“区间扩大”,即光信号起始相位不断往左移动,并且光信号相位区间不断扩大。红外光的相位区间随外施电压的增加而扩大,在1.8UP时与紫外光和可见光相位区间保持一致。最终光信号相位区间覆盖-30°~90°、180°~270°正负半周的上升沿区间。
平均放电光脉冲幅值随外施电压的变化关系如图5所示。从图5(a)可以看出,在正半周期中三波段光脉冲幅值与外施电压呈现出正相关性,且L可见光(+)>L紫外光(+)>L红外光(+)。从图5(b)可以看出,在负半周期光脉冲幅值与外施电压同样呈现出正相关性,并且保持了L可见光(-)> L紫外光(-)> L红外光(-)。因此认为三波段的平均光脉冲幅值可以反映出放电的剧烈程度。
沿面放电缺陷下多光谱放电重复率随外施电压变化的关系如图6所示。从图6(a)可以看出,在放电正半周期中,三波段光信号统计得到的放电重复率均随外施电压的增大呈现出持续上升的变化趋势。从图6(b)可以看出,在负半周期中,三波段统计得到的放电重复率则出现了相反的趋势,即随外施电压增大,放电重复率出现了逐渐下降的趋势。
图5可知,随着外施电压的增加,各波段平均光脉冲强度也随之增加,但是各波段平均光脉冲强度增长趋势存在差异。为了进一步探究三波段光强之间的相互关系,采用计算波段光强占比的方法进行分析,计算结果如图7所示。
图7(a)可以看出,在正半周期中,可见光波段占比为三波段中最高,并且随着外施电压的升高出现了缓慢下降的趋势,从最高的65%下降到2.6UP时的47%;紫外光波段出现了先上升后下降的趋势,在2.0UP时达到峰值40%,并且在外施电压较高(大于1.6UP)时紫外光波段占比上升到37%~40%;红外光波段在外施电压达到2.3UP后快速上升,达到18%。
图7(b)可以看出,在负半周期中,可见光波段占比仍然最高,随着外施电压的增加同样出现了逐渐下降的趋势,从68%下降至42%;紫外光波段占比的峰值出现在2.3UP,占比达到42%;红外光波段占比在2.0UP后显著上升,并且保持在15%以上。
电弧放电试验中固定电极之间的距离分别为0.5、1.0、2.0 cm,使其产生电弧放电,保持电弧电流恒定,分别以电压信号为相位基准记录紫外光、可见光和红外光3个波段的光脉冲信号。
图8是不同电弧长度放电下三波段平均光脉冲强度图。从图8可以看出,随着电极两端距离的增加,电弧的弧阻抗增大,在输入电流恒定的基础上电弧电压逐渐增加,可见光波段平均光脉冲强度在放电正、负半周内均出现了明显增强,而紫外光波段和红外光波段则出现了略微下滑的趋势。
电弧放电缺陷下多光谱放电重复率随电弧长度变化的关系如图9所示。从图9可以看出,在放电正半周期随着电弧长度增大,三波段光信号检测到的放电重复率均增大;而在放电负半周期随着电弧长度增大,放电重复率均减小。并且在正、负半周期,紫外光和红外光的放电重复率有着几乎相同的变化量。
不同电弧长度下电弧放电波段光强占比计算结果如图10所示。从图10可以看出,在电弧放电过程中,可见光波段占据了光信号中的绝大部分,并且随着电弧长度的增加(即电压的升高),光占比持续上升,在电弧长度达到2.0 cm时,可见光占比在正半周期达到了89%,在负半周达到了78%;紫外光占比则随着电弧长度增加出现了逐渐下降的趋势,其中紫外光波段在正、负半周分别从21%和22%下降到10%和19%;红外光占比也同样出现了下降的趋势,分别从7%和8%下降到2%和4%。
分别对沿面放电和电弧放电的多光谱特征进行分析,针对两种放电形式的多光谱特征进行比较,结果如表2所示。
沿面放电:在正、负半周期内,光脉冲幅值均与外施电压呈现出正相关性,并且始终保持L可见光>L紫外光>L红外光。正半周可见光幅值在2.45~6.32 mV,紫外光为0.91~4.85 mV,红外光为0.39~2.42 mV,在负半周可见光幅值为2.31~3.43 mV,紫外光为0.81~3.27 mV,红外光为0.27~1.52 mV。
电弧放电:在正半周期内,可见光光脉冲幅值随电弧长度(外施电压)的增加而增加,但紫外光和红外光波段则出现了下降的趋势。正半周可见光幅值在1.22~1.65 V,紫外光为0.18~0.37 V,红外光为0.08~0.14 V,在负半周可见光幅值在1.18~1.57 V,紫外光为0.37~0.50 V,红外光为0.03~0.12 V。
可以看到,两种放电形式之间的三波段光脉冲幅值变化规律存在明显差异,并且在数量级上也有显著差异。
沿面放电:正半周期中3个波段放电重复率与外施电压呈现正相关,而在负半周则呈现负相关。
电弧放电:正半周期中3个波段放电重复率与电弧长度(外施电压)呈现正相关,而在负半周呈现负相关。
可以看到,在放电重复率上,沿面放电和电弧放电有着近似的变化规律。
沿面放电:在正半周期中,可见光波段占比为三波段中占比最高,并且随着外施电压的升高出现了缓慢下降的趋势;紫外光波段出现了先上升后下降的趋势;红外光波段在外施电压达到2.3UP后快速上升。在负半周期中,可见光波段占比仍然最高,同样出现了逐渐下降的趋势;紫外光波段和红外光波段占比在小幅波动后出现了上升趋势。参照变压器故障诊断中以不同特征气体含量比值作为故障诊断依据的思路,考虑到紫外光和可见光波段在三波段光中占比较高,本文进一步求取紫外光与可见光光强度的比值关系,沿面放电中紫外光与可见光强度典型范围为[0.35,1]。
电弧放电:在正、负半周中,可见光占比随电弧长度的增加(即电压的升高)而升高,紫外光和红外光占比则同样出现了下降的趋势。在电弧放电中,紫外光与可见光强度比值典型范围为[0.11,0.32]。
可以看到,沿面放电与电弧放电在光强占比上的变化规律和三波段之间的比值上均存在显著差异,特别是在选取紫外光与可见光比值典型范围时可以作为区分开关柜内沿面放电和电弧放电的有效判据。
(1)从光脉冲幅值上看,沿面放电和电弧放电光信号幅值与外施电压存在良好的对应关系,光脉冲幅值能够表征放电的严重程度。
(2)从放电重复率上看,两类放电的3个波段放电重复率在正半周期均随外施电压的增大而上升并在负半周期下降。
(3)从波段光强占比上看,在沿面放电中正半周期的可见光占比呈现下降趋势;紫外光占比则出现“上升-下降”的趋势;红外光占比较为稳定并在外施电压达到2.0UP后出现明显升高。在负半周期中,可见光占比则出现持续下降的趋势;紫外光占比呈现出“上升-下降”的趋势;红外光占比则有小幅度的增加。在电弧放电过程中可见光占比显著高于沿面放电,并且随着电弧长度的增加这一占比持续升高,而紫外光和红外光占比则逐渐下降。
(4)沿面放电中紫外/可见比值典型范围为[0.35,1],而电弧放电中紫外/可见比值典型范围为[0.11,0.32],可依据此特征制定低能放电和高能电弧放电的判别阈值,从而提高开关柜状态预警和主动保护的置信度。
