In order to study the influence rules of repetitive square wave frequency on the corona-resistant lifetime of polyimide, a test platform with bipolar square wave was constructed to test the corona-resistant lifetime and partial discharge statistical characteristics of polyimide at different frequencies. The results show that with the increase of frequency, the corona-resistant lifetime of polyimide decreases, and the trend becomes less steep gradually. This is because with the increase of repetitive square wave frequency, the discharge amplitude and phase at the rising edge and the falling edge reduce gradually, which leads to the weakening of electrical ageing effect by discharge in a single cycle. Therefore, when the insulation was accelerated aged by increasing the square wave voltage frequency, the above characteristics need to be considered.

为研究重复方波电压频率对聚酰亚胺耐电晕寿命的影响规律,搭建了双极性方波测试平台,测试不同频率下聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命和局部放电统计特性。结果表明:聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命随频率的增加而减小,趋势逐渐变缓,这是因为随着重复方波频率的增加,发生在上升沿和下降沿处的放电幅值和相位都逐渐减小,致使单个周期内放电产生的电老化作用减弱。据此,对绝缘采用提高方波电压频率来加速老化时,需考虑上述特性。

Effect of Repetitive Square Wave Frequency on Corona-resistant Lifetime of Polyimide

为研究重复方波电压频率对聚酰亚胺耐电晕寿命的影响规律,搭建了双极性方波测试平台,测试不同频率下聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命和局部放电统计特性。结果表明:聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命随频率的增加而减小,趋势逐渐变缓,这是因为随着重复方波频率的增加,发生在上升沿和下降沿处的放电幅值和相位都逐渐减小,致使单个周期内放电产生的电老化作用减弱。据此,对绝缘采用提高方波电压频率来加速老化时,需考虑上述特性。

In order to study the influence rules of repetitive square wave frequency on the corona-resistant lifetime of polyimide, a test platform with bipolar square wave was constructed to test the corona-resistant lifetime and partial discharge statistical characteristics of polyimide at different frequencies. The results show that with the increase of frequency, the corona-resistant lifetime of polyimide decreases, and the trend becomes less steep gradually. This is because with the increase of repetitive square wave frequency, the discharge amplitude and phase at the rising edge and the falling edge reduce gradually, which leads to the weakening of electrical ageing effect by discharge in a single cycle. Therefore, when the insulation was accelerated aged by increasing the square wave voltage frequency, the above characteristics need to be considered.

由于在节能、调速等方面的显著优点,变频电机已广泛应用于电力牵引、舰船驱动和工业生产等领域[1]。不同于传统工作在正弦电压下的交流电机,变频器输出的快速变化的方波易导致变频电机绝缘性能过早失效[2-4]。为提高变频电机的绝缘可靠性,国际电工技术委员会提出IEC 60034-18-42[5],指出对高压变频电机进行型式试验时,推荐采用重复方波(脉冲)电压对电机绝缘进行耐电晕寿命测试,并将耐电晕寿命作为评价电机性能的重要指标。
变频电机绝缘损伤最早易出现在匝间,然后延伸至主绝缘[6]。这是由于高频脉宽调制电压易在电机定子端部形成过电压,且具有较大dv/dt的过电压在绕组内分布不均,从而加强了绝缘系统中的局部电场,出现匝间局部放电(partial discharge,PD)。聚酰亚胺具有耐高温、耐辐射、耐化学腐蚀等特性,已被广泛应用于高压变频电机的匝间绝缘[7]。聚酰亚胺测试也成为依据国际电工技术委员会标准对电机绝缘进行耐电晕寿命测试的重要组成部分。
为缩短测试时间,耐电晕测试一般采用提高电压和频率的方法。在传统正弦电压下,提高电压频率,绝缘寿命基本以线性规律减少[8]。这是因为在大于局部放电起始放电电压的条件下,电压频率与绝缘寿命具有反比关系[9]。在正弦电压下,dv/dt相对于放电时间基本可以忽略,频率变化对放电特性的影响不大。因此,提高正弦电压频率,基本可以达到线性加速老化的作用。然而,在重复方波电压下,局部放电发生在脉冲上升沿和下降沿附近[2-3],此处具有较大的dv/dt。脉冲频率的变化更易改变局部放电过程中表面电荷的积累、极性反转时的合成场强和局部温升等特性,从而改变局部放电的延迟时间、激发电压等,显著影响绝缘的电老化作用[3,9]。可以推断,相对于正弦电压,重复方波频率对耐电晕寿命的影响可能更加复杂。
重复脉冲电压下变频电机耐电晕测试中频率的影响已有部分报道[3,9-11]。研究发现,随着频率的增加,匝间绝缘模型放电统计特性发生变化,放电统计时延和放电幅值都有所减小,且放电造成的温升变化等都会对匝间绝缘电老化造成重要影响。然而,以上研究对象都采用低压散绕电机漆包线(交叉线或绞线对)制成。实际上,如果控制局部放电起始电压低于电机运行电压且留有一定裕度时,此类电机绝缘系统在全寿命周期内不应出现放电。因此,研究者们更应关注具有成型绕组结构的变频电机绝缘系统的电老化作用以及其对局部放电起始电压的影响。
对于一般应用于高压成型变频电机匝间绝缘的聚酰亚胺,随着运行电压的升高无法完全避免在匝间绝缘出现局部放电。因此,在重复方波脉冲电压下聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕寿命测试更应受到重视。然而,现有报道较少涉及不同频率重复脉冲电压下聚酰亚胺绝缘的耐电晕寿命变化规律。
本研究旨在探究重复方波频率对聚酰亚胺绝缘耐电晕寿命的影响规律。首先,搭建用于聚酰亚胺耐电晕寿命测试的双极性方波测试平台,可利用短路保护电路和特高频天线实时记录寿命数据和老化过程的放电数据。然后,在峰峰值为3.0 kV、上升时间为300 ns、频率为100~8 000 Hz的重复方波电压下,研究频率对聚酰亚胺耐电晕寿命和局部放电统计特性的影响规律。借助电老化过程中记录的放电相位和幅值变化特性,基于电老化和放电物理过程对不同频率下聚酰亚胺的电老化作用进行机理解释。
为避免纳米材料的添加对测试结果的分散性产生影响,试样选用纯聚酰亚胺薄膜,其厚度为0.025 mm,尺寸为50 mm×50 mm。每次试验前,采用无水酒精擦拭试样表面以清除杂质。然后,将试样放置在100℃真空干燥箱内30 min,去除试样表面水分并预热。
耐电晕寿命测试采用球-板电极,模拟切向和法向电场作用。将直径为15 mm的球形电极接至高压方波,直径为40 mm的平板电极接至地电位。为避免电极表面不平整影响电场均匀度,每次试验前先将电极表面进行磨平抛光处理。
搭建了基于霍尔击穿保护的高压脉冲电源寿命测试系统[12],如图1所示。高压方波电源可产生不同频率的测试电压,高压探头采集高压方波电源输出的分压信号连接到示波器。短路保护电路采用现场可编程逻辑门阵列进行控制,用霍尔元件进行过流检测。过流保护在试样被击穿时的瞬间启动,断开高压输出的同时记录试样的耐电晕寿命。采集局部放电信号的特高频天线安装在距离试样20 cm处。为抑制电力电子开关器件产生的开断干扰[13],在天线输出端装设截止频率为395 MHz的高通滤波器,特制并优化特高频传感器,提升传感器在0.5~2.0 GHz的增益和阻抗匹配性能,从而提升测试灵敏度[14]。局部放电信号和方波电压信号连接至高速数字示波器的两个通道,示波器同时记录大量电压和放电数据,传至计算机进行处理。
耐电晕试验选用占空比为50%、峰峰值电压为3.0 kV、上升时间为300 ns的双极性重复方波电压并保持参数不变,选择100 Hz、500 Hz以及1、5、8 kHz的电压频率。将试样及电极置于恒温控制箱内,每个频率测试5个试样,取测试平均值为最终寿命数据进行统计。
不同频率下聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命如图2所示。从图2可以看出,频率的增加导致聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命逐渐减少,但变化趋势逐渐减缓,频率高于1 kHz后趋于不变。
耐电晕寿命测试在大于局部放电起始放电电压下进行,单个周期内上升沿和下降沿处的放电是加速绝缘电老化的主要因素。统计试样从加压开始至击穿所经受的脉冲电压总周期数NN与方波频率f及寿命L的关系如式(1)所示。

以百万为单位计算不同频率下的脉冲电压总周期数N图3所示。因为方波频率对单周期内放电次数没有明显影响 [15],所以脉冲电压总周期数在一定程度上代表了放电次数。若每个脉冲周期内放电对试样的电老化作用相同,那么对同样的试样在不同频率下的总周期数应大致相同。即若N保持不变,则频率f和寿命L成反比关系。从图3可以看出,总周期数随频率增加呈增加趋势,并且1 kHz后快速增加。由此推断,随着频率的增加,相同的试样需要更多的脉冲周期数量才能达到绝缘击穿,这表明单个周期内放电活动对绝缘老化作用逐渐减弱。因此,应对单个周期上升沿和下降沿处的局部放电统计特性进行分析,以解释在不同频率下放电活动对绝缘电老化作用的影响。
在耐电晕试验过程中,采用上述特高频天线采集每个方波周期内的放电脉冲,从加压开始连续采集至试样击穿。随后,将电压和放电数据导入至计算机处理。局部放电随老化时间的变化趋势大致分为放电初始、稳定放电、放电结束3个阶段 [16]。为提高统计准确度,每个频率下按照一定的时间间隔提取1 000组处于稳定放电阶段的放电信号,每组信号采用阈值去噪方法,提取相应放电的时间和幅值信息,绘制放电分布图。
当控制方波电压峰峰值为3 000 V,频率为 1 kHz时,同一周期内放电在上升沿和下降沿的统计分布如图4所示。
图4可以看出,放电谱图在对称方波电压的上升沿和下降沿基本对称,这与文献[16]的结论一致。因此,此处仅用方波电压上升沿的局部放电分布进行分析和说明。分别选取100 Hz以及1、5、8 kHz的放电统计数据,在同一坐标系中绘制放电统计图,如图5所示。
图5中重复方波电压下的放电幅值进行统计,得到不同频率下聚酰亚胺的局部放电统计特性如图6所示。从图56可以看出,在不同频率下放电幅值分布在50~140 mV,且放电幅值随重复方波频率的升高而减小。从图5可知,随着频率的增加,在电压上升过程中放电发生的位置越靠前,这意味着放电相位在减小,即频率的增加减小了方波电压上升沿处的放电时延。
耐电晕寿命主要和放电过程相关。具有较高幅值的放电,更容易促使聚酰亚胺分子链断裂;同时放电活动产生的热量,使绝缘放电表面的局部温度升高,造成材料在热、化学作用下发生降解[10]
当频率增加后,虽然单周期内的放电次数变化并不明显,但单位时间内放电次数增加,总的放电量增加,对绝缘的破坏作用加强,绝缘寿命随之缩短。
以上结果说明聚酰亚胺在不同频率下耐电晕寿命的变化特性与漆包线模型具有相似规律[10-11]
在球-板电极结构中,放电主要发生在高压电极表面与聚酰亚胺之间的气隙 。由气体放电的流注理论可知,在脉冲电压下产生放电需要满足两个条件[9]:①气隙内的场强超过起始放电场强;②出现激发电子崩的初始电子。
放电具有记忆效应,即上一次放电产生的表面电荷会在绝缘表面形成电荷积累,从而对后续放电过程产生影响。初始电子主要由表面电荷产生,产生率λ可由Schottky-Richardson模型[17]估算,可知λ与放电时积累的表面电荷数量成正比。
表面电荷对放电的影响表现为:在方波正半周或负半周,表面电荷场强和外加电压场强方向相反,使气隙实际合成场强减小,抑制放电;在极性反转时,两者方向相同,使合成场强更大,易达到局部放电起始放电场强,引起放电。因此局部放电集中在方波上升沿和下降沿。气隙合成场强达到起始放电场强后,并非立即发生放电,而是需要等待初始电子激发电子崩,等待的过程中外加电压继续上升,因此等待初始电子时间越长,气隙合成场强越高。
对于理想球形气隙,放电时产生的视在放电量q取决于气隙合成电场强度E[11],如式(2)所示。

式(2)中,K为常数。局部放电幅值与视在放电量成正比,因此局部放电幅值和放电时刻气隙合成电场强度成正比。
残留表面电荷与重复方波频率成指数关系 [9]。频率升高后,电荷的衰减作用减弱,残留更多的表面电荷。较多的表面电荷更易产生初始电子,缩短等待局部放电产生的延迟时间,放电相位因此减小。同时气隙合成电场强度也将随放电相位减小而减小,由式(2)知放电幅值随之减小。
局部放电是导致变频电机匝间绝缘劣化的主要原因 [9]。具有较大幅值的放电具有更高能量,更易导致聚酰亚胺分子链断裂,加剧重复方波下的电老化作用。由此可知,使相同绝缘试样达到最终击穿,若放电幅值较高,则需要相对较少的脉冲电压周期;反之则需要更多的脉冲电压周期。
图4图5可知,随着频率增加,放电相位和幅值减小,单个周期内脉冲对绝缘的电老化作用减弱。同时文献[8]的研究结论表明,由频率引起的温升随着电压频率的升高而逐渐增加,但趋势也会逐渐趋于平缓。这两个原因导致测试试样的耐电晕寿命与电压频率不具有严格的反比关系,随着频率的增大,绝缘寿命先减少而后逐渐趋于不变。
(1)重复方波频率对高压成型电机匝间绝缘耐电晕寿命的影响规律和低压散绕电机相似,聚酰亚胺的耐电晕寿命随频率增加而减少,随着频率进一步增加,这种影响趋于减弱;
(2)随着重复方波频率的增加,发生在上升沿和下降沿处的放电幅值和相位逐渐减小,单个周期内放电产生的电老化作用逐渐减弱,导致频率增加到一定程度后对耐电晕寿命的影响趋于减弱。
