In order to clarify the genetic mechanism of shallow continental shelf sandbodies in the upper submember of the first member of Zhujiang Formation in the northwestern Zhusan Depression, with integrated use of geological and geophysical data, the five-order sequence framework was established firstly, inside of which, the shallow continental shelf sandbodies were identified and quantitatively described, and the temporal and spatial evolution of the shallow continental shelf sandbodies were analyzed, and the genetic mechanism was discussed. The results show that: (1) The upper submember of the first member of Zhujiang Formation in the study area can be divided into four five-order sequences, which were numbered as FS4, FS3, FS2 and FS1 from bottom to top. (2) There are two types of shelf sand bodies: tidal sand ridge and offshore sand bar, which are distributed in NW−SE direction. Tidal sand ridges are mainly distributed in the west of the study area, while offshore sand bars are concentrated in the east. (3) In the three five-order sequences FS4, FS3 and FS2, the scale and quantity of both tidal sand rdiges and offshore sand bars are relatively large, while in the upper five-order sequence FS1, the scale and quantity present poor. (4) Sedimentary base level (hydrodynamic condition), synsedimentary geomorphology and sediment debris supply jointly affected the development scale, distribution characteristics and temporal and spatial evolution of tidal sand ridges and offshore sand bars, which comprehensively constituted the genetic mechanism of shallow continental shelf sand bodies in the northwestern Zhusan Depression.

为阐明珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体成因机制,综合地质与地球物理数据,首先搭建了五级层序地层格架,并以此为约束,开展浅海陆架砂体识别与定量描述,剖析其时空演化规律,进而讨论其成因机制。结果表明:(1)研究区珠江组一段上亚段可划分为4个五级层序,自下向上编号为FS4、FS3、FS2与FS1;(2)研究区发育潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝两种类型陆架砂体,两者整体呈NW−SE向展布,潮流沙脊主要分布于研究区西部,滨外沙坝则集中于东部;(3)FS4、FS3与FS2 3个五级层序中,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝均呈现较大规模与较多数量,最上部FS1五级层序中,规模与数量达到最小;(4)沉积基准面(水动力)、同沉积地貌、沉积物碎屑供给等因素共同影响了潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的发育规模、展布特征与时空演化规律等,综合构成了珠三坳陷西北部浅海陆架砂体的成因机制。

为阐明珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体成因机制,综合地质与地球物理数据,首先搭建了五级层序地层格架,并以此为约束,开展浅海陆架砂体识别与定量描述,剖析其时空演化规律,进而讨论其成因机制。结果表明:(1)研究区珠江组一段上亚段可划分为4个五级层序,自下向上编号为FS4、FS3、FS2与FS1;(2)研究区发育潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝两种类型陆架砂体,两者整体呈NW−SE向展布,潮流沙脊主要分布于研究区西部,滨外沙坝则集中于东部;(3)FS4、FS3与FS2 3个五级层序中,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝均呈现较大规模与较多数量,最上部FS1五级层序中,规模与数量达到最小;(4)沉积基准面(水动力)、同沉积地貌、沉积物碎屑供给等因素共同影响了潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的发育规模、展布特征与时空演化规律等,综合构成了珠三坳陷西北部浅海陆架砂体的成因机制。

In order to clarify the genetic mechanism of shallow continental shelf sandbodies in the upper submember of the first member of Zhujiang Formation in the northwestern Zhusan Depression, with integrated use of geological and geophysical data, the five-order sequence framework was established firstly, inside of which, the shallow continental shelf sandbodies were identified and quantitatively described, and the temporal and spatial evolution of the shallow continental shelf sandbodies were analyzed, and the genetic mechanism was discussed. The results show that: (1) The upper submember of the first member of Zhujiang Formation in the study area can be divided into four five-order sequences, which were numbered as FS4, FS3, FS2 and FS1 from bottom to top. (2) There are two types of shelf sand bodies: tidal sand ridge and offshore sand bar, which are distributed in NW−SE direction. Tidal sand ridges are mainly distributed in the west of the study area, while offshore sand bars are concentrated in the east. (3) In the three five-order sequences FS4, FS3 and FS2, the scale and quantity of both tidal sand rdiges and offshore sand bars are relatively large, while in the upper five-order sequence FS1, the scale and quantity present poor. (4) Sedimentary base level (hydrodynamic condition), synsedimentary geomorphology and sediment debris supply jointly affected the development scale, distribution characteristics and temporal and spatial evolution of tidal sand ridges and offshore sand bars, which comprehensively constituted the genetic mechanism of shallow continental shelf sand bodies in the northwestern Zhusan Depression.

随着国内油气资源需求的快速增长和陆上油气资源的勘探开发逐渐趋于饱和,我国近海海域油气资源因其丰富程度而成为寻求能源突破的必然选择[1-2]。但目前国内浅海陆架油气勘探一直以构造圈闭为主,随着勘探程度的不断提高,显形的构造圈闭越来越少,油气勘探若在浅水陆架区取得新的突破,势必需从构造圈闭走向隐蔽圈闭[3-6]。浅海陆架砂体的储层物性和横向连通性较好,并且在侧向上易相变为陆架泥质沉积,是构成隐蔽圈闭的重要储集体[7]
目前国外学者针对浅海陆架砂体已开展过系统研究,如浅海陆架砂体成因类型、沉积特征与主控因素等,如Posamentier[8]将印度尼西亚西北Java盆地古近纪的陆架沉积划分为陆架沙脊和分支水道两个主要的沉积单元,认为陆架沙脊一般发育于沉积基准面较高位置或水进体系域,在平面上呈条带状展布;Lee等[9]认为东海和南海陆架在全新世发育厚度较大的沙丘和沙脊,为海侵所引起的潮汐或风暴浪的改造作用所致,发育向上变粗的沉积粒度旋回。国内针对其研究主要聚焦于现代沉积[10-12],而在含油气盆地中涉及较少,并集中于珠江口盆地西部珠江组一段上亚段,如李伟等[13]论述了浅海陆架砂体沉积特征,并探讨了其油气勘探意义;李俊良等[14]则介绍了潮流沙脊的形态与分布特征,并论述了水动力条件对其影响。但前人在含油气盆地中对浅海陆架砂体的研究主要聚焦于砂体识别、沉积特征等,而关于浅海陆架砂体尤其在高频层序约束下的沉积演化、成因机制等则鲜有涉及,不仅限制了对良好储集体和隐蔽圈闭的预测,而且约束了对浅海陆架的全面认识。
本次研究针对珠江口盆地珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体,以搭建的高频层序地层格架为基础,结合地质与地球物理数据,定量分析浅海陆架砂体在高频层序约束下的沉积演化特征,并结合区域沉积背景,探讨浅海陆架砂体发育机制。
珠江口盆地位于南海北部华南大陆南缘,是呈北东走向的以新生代沉积为主的拉张性盆地[15]。其中珠三坳陷位于珠江口盆地西部,坳陷内主要由文昌A凹陷、文昌B凹陷、文昌C凹陷、阳江凹陷、琼海凸起、阳江低凸起、阳春凸起等次级构造单元组成。坳陷北靠北部隆起,南部通过珠三南断裂与神狐隆起毗邻(图1),盆地构造演化主要经历了断陷期、断坳转换期、坳陷期3个阶段,呈现“南断北超、下断上坳”的构造格局[16-18]。珠江组沉积时期,古南海加速向加里曼丹-苏禄地区俯冲直至消亡,新南海开始扩张形成,整个南海地区的扩展中心位于新南海,南海北缘的珠江口盆地整体处于裂后坳陷阶段[19-20],珠江组底部地层界面成为构造与沉积突变界面,标志着由陆缘断陷盆地沉积向浅海陆架沉积的转变[21-22]。此时,珠三坳陷和周缘隆起成为统一整体,发育典型开阔海环境的滨浅海沉积[23]
本次研究是以前人所搭建的三级层序地层格架为基础,依次开展四级层序界面与五级层序界面的识别,搭建五级层序地层格架。最终,以五级层序为单元,开展高频层序约束下的浅海陆架砂体沉积演化研究。
高频层序地层学强调对地层记录中反映基准面变化的时间地层单元进行划分,基准面旋回是高频层序地层学划分的基础[24-25]。单调的基准面旋回可引起沉积体进积或退积,因此呈现单一的叠置样式,不同基准面旋回之间则可表现为沉积环境变化或岩相变化[26]。因此,高频层序界面识别与格架搭建可采用如下原则:(1)钻井中,高频层序界面上下具有显著的测井相差异;(2)地震中,因珠江组一段上部(T40−T41)沉积处于坳陷期,盆地沉积已填平补齐,因此缺少上超、削截等不整合标志,层序界面识别主要依据地震相反射特征差异。
图2为研究区钻井W10层序地层分析,珠江组一段上部测井曲线具有明显的两段式特征,据此识别出高频层序界面T40a,将珠江组一段划分为两段高频层序。下部(T40a–T41)测井曲线整体呈钟型,指示沉积粒度向上逐渐变细;上部(T40–T40a)测井曲线整体呈漏斗型,指示沉积粒度向上逐渐变粗。结合珠江组一段为滨浅海陆源碎屑沉积体系,因此可推测下部代表沉积基准面逐渐上升,而上部则转为逐渐下降。下部高频层序中,以细粒泥质沉积为主,随沉积基准面上升,外浅海转变为内浅海沉积;向上跨过T40a界面,转变为外浅海,指示水深的突然变浅,代表下一高频层序沉积的开始。上部高频层序中,底部沉积滨外沙坝,沉积物以粉砂岩、细砂岩为主,测井曲线呈典型的漏斗型,在下文将作详细论述。
图3为经过钻井W10的地震剖面,T40–T41间有一强振幅、横向连续的清晰界面,该界面在钻井W10中的分层与钻井中T40a具有非常好的吻合性,因此界面为T40a高频层序界面,界面上下地震相特征不同,之上呈现强振幅低频反射,之下呈现弱振幅反射。
通过识别高频层序界面T40a,珠江组一段上部划分为两个高频层序,即T40–T40a,T40a–T41。根据经典钙质超微化石分带、国际年代地层表以及ODP186航次,前人建立了珠江口盆地西部钙质超微化石分带与钻井WC9-2-2岩石剖面对应关系、浮游有孔虫与钙质超微化石分带对应关系。结合本次研究对钻井WC9-2-2开展的高频层序划分,通过与钻井W10进行对比,绘制了钻井W10高频层序地层分析与古生物分带(图4),可得T40–T40a或T40a–T41两个高频层序所对应的沉积持续年龄约为0.38 Ma,可证明该高频层序界面为四级层序界面。
以四级层序地层格架为基础,结合高精度钻井,在钻井中开展五级层序识别与划分,并通过井震结合,在地震数据体中进行五级层序界面的追踪与闭合,最终搭建五级层序地层格架(图5),为分析浅海陆架沉积演化及成因机制提供地层格架约束。珠江组一段上亚段累计划分为4个五级层序,自上而下分别编号为FS1、FS2、FS3、FS4,其中FS2与FS3处于四级基准面较高位置。
前人在珠江口盆地西部针对浅海陆架砂体已开展过一定研究,但主要聚焦于浅海陆架砂体类型、沉积特征。本次研究在前人基础上,结合已有地质与地球物理数据,可知研究区内主要发育潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝两种类型浅海陆架砂体,两种砂体具有截然不同的测井相与地震相特征(图6)。潮流沙脊测井曲线呈钟型或箱型,具有强振幅下切地震反射特征,指示潮流沙脊对下伏沉积的削截作用;滨外沙坝测井曲线呈舌型或漏斗型,具有强振幅透镜型地震反射特征。截然不同的测井相或地震相特征,代表两种类型的浅海陆架砂体沉积特征以及成因机制具有差异。
本文以五级层序为单元,精细、定量研究浅海陆架砂体在各五级层序中空间展布、发育规模等特征,阐明其时空演化规律,以分析其成因机制或主控因素。
图7为潮流沙脊或滨外沙坝连井沉积图,3条连井呈SW–NE走向,在钻井中可见明显的钟型或箱型测井曲线,对应潮流沙脊沉积;明显的舌型或漏斗型测井曲线,对应滨外沙坝沉积。纵向上,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝在4个五级层序中均有发育,但集中发育于五级层序FS4、FS3与FS2中;横向上,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝厚度变化迅速,且井之间缺少延展性与对比性,说明潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝走向与该连井格架方向垂直,即NW–SE向。但在格架1中,FS1五级层序的滨外沙坝则具有较好的侧向延伸性,与整体规律具有差异,说明在该时期或该滨外沙坝沉积地区,浅海陆架砂体的展布受其他因素影响。其次,在3条格架中,格架1位于研究区东部,以滨外沙坝沉积为主;格架3位于研究区西部,以潮流沙脊沉积为主;格架2处于东、西部过渡部位,滨外沙坝与潮流沙脊兼有沉积,说明在横向上,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的空间分布具有区域性,推测与成因机制或主控因素有关。
为更形象、直观描述潮流沙脊或滨外沙坝的时空演化规律,通过均方根振幅平面地震属性,结合钻井佐证,绘制不同五级层序中潮流沙脊或滨外沙坝的平面图(图8),并结合钻井中陆架砂体的厚度,定量描述不同五级层序中陆架砂体的长、宽、高与长/宽比值(表1),以分析其成因机制。
潮流沙脊厚度较大,且呈现强振幅反射,因此在平面地震属性中,具有很明显的响应及形态特征;滨外沙坝厚度相对较薄,且呈现中强振幅反射,因此在平面地震属性中响应特征较不明显,此时结合在三维地震数据体中根据地震相特征对滨外沙坝进行的解释与追踪,同样可以对滨外沙坝的平面形态进行较为准确的约束。
在均方根振幅平面地震属性中,潮流沙脊形态特征清晰,走向呈NW–SE向或S–N向,并且通过钻井与地震解释佐证,在横向(空间)上,主要集中发育于研究区西部,在纵向(时间)上,以FS4、FS3和FS2为主,在FS1中数量与规模均较少(图9表1);滨外沙坝走向具有一定变化,在FS4与FS3中,走向呈NW–SE向,在FS1中局部地区则转变为SW–NE向。在横向(空间)上,滨外沙坝集中于研究区东部,在纵向(时间)上,以FS4、FS3为主,FS2与FS1中则鲜有发育,且规模较小(图9表1)。以上潮流沙脊或滨外沙坝时空演化规律与图7所呈现的规律具有一致性。
目前众多学者以“过程–响应”观点为指导,认为水动力条件、沉积碎屑供给和相对海平面变化(沉积基准面变化)共同控制了陆架的沉积特征,影响了浅海陆架砂体的沉积与发育。本文以前人研究成果为基础,结合五级层序约束下的潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的时空演化规律,探讨珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体成因机制。
潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的发育位置具有空间差异性,潮流沙脊集中于研究西部,滨外沙坝则集中于研究区东部。采用回剥原理,恢复了珠江组一段同沉积古地貌(图10),发现研究区西部与东部具有截然不同的沉积地貌。西部覆于琼海凸起之上,虽然此时琼海凸起没于水下,但在其上的披覆沉积仍然继承了琼海凸起相对较高的地貌,而东部则处于琼海凸起与文昌凹陷过渡的斜坡部位,沉积地貌较低,覆水相对较深。几乎任何陆架均在不同程度上受到波浪和潮流作用的控制,潮控陆架一般形成于潮差较大(3~4 m或更大)、潮流流速较大(大于50~100 cm/s)的浅海海域[3]。研究区西部整体表现为水下高地,其对海洋水动力作用具有较强的阻挡,使得水流在此处流速变快、覆水变浅,更有利于满足形成潮流的条件,而且较快的水流流速,较易冲刷下伏沉积物,从而解释了潮流沙脊为何具有下切特征;而在琼海凸起与文昌凹陷过渡部位,水深增加,潮流作用减弱,波浪作用相对增强,因此转为以浪控为主,而形成滨外沙坝。李学杰等 [27]在南海西部4°~18°N,108.5°~115°E范围,共301个站位进行系统取样,研究发现在陆架区古水深(D)与浮游有孔虫百分含量(P)存在明显的相关关系:

根据式(1),结合研究区西部钻井W22、东部钻井W31在目的层段深度范围已有的浮游有孔虫百分含量,分别为8.97%~12.38%与39.49%~59.81%,计算得出西部与东部在浅海陆架砂体沉积期古水深分别约为29.8~32.1 m与56.7~86.83 m。不仅说明了研究区属于浅海陆架,而且说明了研究区西部水深确实小于东部,与古地貌具有很好的耦合性,决定了潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝在空间分布上的差异。
潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝展布方向整体为NW–SE向,而在五级层序FS1的局部地区,展布方向呈现差异,表现为SW–NE向(图8a)。呈该方向展布的砂体主要分布于断层根部位置,而且展布方向与断层走向平行,很明显是受到了同沉积断层的控制。同沉积断层根部形成了沿断层分布的沉降中心,碎屑物质较易在此处发生卸载堆积,因而形成了沿断层展布的浅海陆架砂体,而这也解释了图7格架1的FS1五级层序滨外沙坝为何与连井方向平行。
潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝等陆架砂体为水动力将先存沉积砂体(沉积碎屑物供给)改造形成[9]。在研究区,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的发育规模具有时间差异性。FS4、FS3与FS2 3个五级旋回中,规模最大、建造性最强,FS1中规模最小。其中,FS3与FS2中陆架砂体具有较大的长/宽比,说明这两个五级层序中陆架砂体的建造主要体现在长度的相对增大。Posamentier[8]将印度尼西亚西北Java盆地古近纪的陆架沉积划分为陆架沙脊和分支水道两个主要的沉积单元,认为陆架沙脊一般发育于沉积基准面较高位置或水进体系域,在平面上呈条带状展布,具有底界突变、向上变细的沉积序列。说明基准面较高的位置,水动力因素对先存沉积体的改造作用较强,可形成条带状的砂体。在研究区,FS3与FS2处于基准面较高位置(图5),因此这两个五级层序中陆架砂体的建造与所处基准面位置有关,即水动力因素的影响。
FS1与FS4同处于基准面较低位置,但FS4中却发育大规模的陆架砂体。陆架砂体的发育潜在主控因素包括沉积碎屑物质供给,通过搭建珠江组一段上亚段与下亚段连井对比图(图11),可发现在珠江组一段下亚段的下伏地层中,沉积有厚层砂体,该砂体可为上覆地层发育潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝提供丰富的沉积碎屑物供给。因此,位于上覆地层最下部的五级层序FS4,具有“近水楼台先得月”优势,即使水动力条件较差(沉积基准面较低),仍然可发育较大规模潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝。而处于上覆地层最上部的五级层序FS1,水动力条件较差(沉积基准面较低),且沉积碎屑物质经下伏3个五级层序的再改造与沉积后,可供FS1进行再改造、沉积的碎屑供给量较少,因此在FS1沉积的浅海陆架砂体的数量与规模均较少。
根据上述讨论,可知珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体的发育主要受同沉积地貌、构造、沉积基准面、沉积碎屑物供给等因素影响(图12)。同沉积地貌或古构造背景控制了潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝空间分布的区域性,沉积基准面与沉积碎屑物供给影响了潮流砂脊与滨外砂坝的发育规模在时间上呈现差异性,即不同五级层序中,沙脊或沙坝呈现出较大的规模、数量与长/宽比值的差异。
珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段可划分为4个五级层序,自下向上编号为FS4、FS3、FS2和FS1。其中FS3和FS2处于沉积基准面较高位置。
珠江组一段上亚段沉积潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝两种类型浅海陆架砂体,两者整体呈NW–SE向延伸,但受成因机制影响,在局部区域呈SW–NE向延伸。
潮流沙脊和滨外沙坝具有一定的时空演化规律:在空间上,潮流沙脊分布于西部的琼海凸起之上,滨外沙坝集中于东部的琼海凸起与文昌凹陷过渡斜坡部位;在时间上,FS4、FS3与FS2 3个五级层序中,沙脊或沙坝呈现较大规模与数量,FS1中规模与数量则较少。
潮流沙脊和滨外沙坝的发育与时空演化受沉积基准面、同沉积地貌或构造、沉积碎屑物供给等因素综合影响。
