In order to solve the problems of low out-of-plane stiffness of the energy dissipation web of traditional shear plate damper and easy to occur out-of-plane buckling under large deformation, a sinusoidal waveform steel plate damper was proposed. Considering the placement direction of the waveform web and the yield strength, four specimens were designed and tested under low cycle repetitive load to analyze the hysteretic performance, bearing capacity and stiffness degradation. The results show that strong energy dissipation capacity, good ductility, and stable hysteresis performance under large deformation is the characteristics of sinusoidal wave plate damper, and the transverse wave steel plate damper with low peak load is the best. The energy dissipation capacity and ductility are better than those of the vertical waveform steel plate damper, and its stiffness degradation rate is higher than that of the transverse waveform steel plate damper. The hysteretic curve of webs made of low yield point steel is full.

为解决传统剪切钢板阻尼器耗能腹板面外刚度小,大变形下容易发生面外屈曲等问题,提出一种正弦波形钢板阻尼器,考虑波形腹板的放置方向和屈服强度,设计4个试件,开展拟静力试验,探究其滞回性能、承载能力和刚度退化等。研究表明:耗能能力强、延性性能好,大变形下滞回性能稳定是正弦波形钢板阻尼器的特性;横向波形钢板阻尼器的峰值荷载较低,而其耗能能力、延性优于竖向波形钢板阻尼器;竖向波形钢板阻尼器的初始弹性刚度较大,但其刚度退化的速率大于横向波形钢板阻尼器;腹板采用低屈服点钢制作的阻尼器,其滞回曲线比较饱满。

为解决传统剪切钢板阻尼器耗能腹板面外刚度小,大变形下容易发生面外屈曲等问题,提出一种正弦波形钢板阻尼器,考虑波形腹板的放置方向和屈服强度,设计4个试件,开展拟静力试验,探究其滞回性能、承载能力和刚度退化等。研究表明:耗能能力强、延性性能好,大变形下滞回性能稳定是正弦波形钢板阻尼器的特性;横向波形钢板阻尼器的峰值荷载较低,而其耗能能力、延性优于竖向波形钢板阻尼器;竖向波形钢板阻尼器的初始弹性刚度较大,但其刚度退化的速率大于横向波形钢板阻尼器;腹板采用低屈服点钢制作的阻尼器,其滞回曲线比较饱满。

In order to solve the problems of low out-of-plane stiffness of the energy dissipation web of traditional shear plate damper and easy to occur out-of-plane buckling under large deformation, a sinusoidal waveform steel plate damper was proposed. Considering the placement direction of the waveform web and the yield strength, four specimens were designed and tested under low cycle repetitive load to analyze the hysteretic performance, bearing capacity and stiffness degradation. The results show that strong energy dissipation capacity, good ductility, and stable hysteresis performance under large deformation is the characteristics of sinusoidal wave plate damper, and the transverse wave steel plate damper with low peak load is the best. The energy dissipation capacity and ductility are better than those of the vertical waveform steel plate damper, and its stiffness degradation rate is higher than that of the transverse waveform steel plate damper. The hysteretic curve of webs made of low yield point steel is full.

剪切钢板阻尼器以其初始刚度大,疲劳性能好,耗能性能稳定而著称,被广泛用于建筑结构设计[1]。地震作用下,产生剪切变形的腹板早于主体结构屈服,使输入结构的能量产生耗散,有效减小了结构地震响应[2]。但在实际工程中,剪切钢板阻尼器在较大位移下易发生面外变形,从而导致阻尼器提前发生破坏,其耗能性能未能完全发挥[3],针对这一问题,国内外学者陆续提出不同的解决方法。
林煜等[4]、王鑫等[5]和尧祖成等[6]分别提出双拼工字型钢阻尼器、十字金属阻尼器、钢管加劲肋阻尼器。研究发现,3种构造形式均能提高耗能腹板的刚度,使其表现出较好的耗能效果。OHSAKI等[7]和DE MATTEIS等[8-9]在腹板上焊接十字型、井字型加劲肋进行试验研究,结果表明,焊接加劲肋对腹板面外屈曲具有一定的抑制作用。CHAN等[10]、LIN等[11]、LEE等[12]和PADMANABAN等[13]分别对阻尼器的腹板进行开孔和设缝式的削弱处理,研究表明,此种削弱方式有利于阻尼器滞回性能的提升。综上所述,国内外学者多以设置防屈曲约束板、加劲肋、开孔或缝式的削弱等方式来抑制阻尼器耗能腹板的面外屈曲,但加劲肋往往采用焊接连接,焊接残余应力的存在使阻尼器的性能大打折扣[14],开孔或缝式的削弱方式使阻尼器的设计、制作工序更加繁琐,不利于阻尼器的推广和应用。
为解决上述存在的问题,本文提出一种新型正弦波形钢板阻尼器,利用低屈服点钢[15]弯折而成的正弦波形钢板来代替传统平钢板作为阻尼器的耗能腹板,使其兼具低屈服点钢和正弦波形钢板的优势,荷载作用下表现出良好的滞回性能。
根据波形腹板强度等级和放置方向的不同,试验设计制作了4个阻尼器试件,波向相同的试件外部构造一致,其三维构造示意图如图1所示。试件的基本参数及所用钢材的力学性能参数分别见表1表2
在实际工程中,常见的波形有正弦形、梯形和三角形,本文选用正弦波形[16],如图2(a)所示。
与其他波形相比,正弦波形的波段之间是逐渐圆滑过渡,经冷加工残余应力小,疲劳性能优良。为方便描述试验结果,现将正弦波形钢板的截面进行定义[17],如图2(b)所示,截面具体尺寸如表3所示。
试验在河北建筑工程学院结构实验室中完成,加载装置如图3所示。
根据文献[18]的建议采用荷载-位移混合控制的加载方式,即先荷载控制后位移控制,二者的分界线为试件达到屈服点,具体加载制度如图4所示。当试验出现下列任一现象时即可终止:试件出现较大的面外屈曲、焊缝出现较大的裂缝、承载力下降至峰值荷载的85%。
在腹板和翼缘板变形较大的位置粘贴直角应变花和应变片,具体位置如图5所示(图中矩形代表直角应变花,圆形代表应变片)。
试件SCMSD-1的破坏现象如图6所示,在荷载控制加载过程中,试件表面无明显变形,处于弹性阶段。当位移加载至20 mm时,东侧翼缘出现轻微弯曲,如图6(a)所示。当加载至30 mm时,试件整体略微向东南倾斜,如图6(b)所示,腹板中部波峰、波谷均出现轻微鼓曲,此时正向承载力为445 kN,负向承载力为443 kN,二者均达到了峰值荷载。当加载至35 mm时,翼缘下部焊缝开裂,并随位移的增加而增大,如图6(c)所示。当加载至40 mm时,翼缘板屈曲变形加剧,东侧翼缘板下部焊缝裂缝宽度增大至2.5 mm,判定焊缝破坏,如图6(d)所示。此时试件的正向承载力下降至312 kN,下降了29.88%,负向承载力下降至327 kN,下降了26.18%,因此判定阻尼器失效。
按照既定的加载制度进行加载。当加载至16 mm时,试件SCMSD-2率先在东侧翼缘中部出现弯曲如图7所示。当加载至20 mm时,东侧翼缘屈曲程度增大,并由中部向上下两端延伸,如图7(a)所示。当加载至25 mm时,腹板中部竖向波峰和波谷的波脊处出现轻微鼓曲,此时阻尼器的正向荷载为501 kN,负向荷载为502 kN,均达到了峰值。当加载至35 mm时,翼缘下部焊缝开裂,腹板中部鼓曲增加,试件的骨架曲线出现了大幅度下降。当加载至40 mm时,东侧翼缘下部焊缝裂缝宽度增加至1.2 mm,如图7(b)所示。此时试件的正向承载力下降至302 kN,下降了39.72%,负向承载力为301 kN,下降了40.03%,因此,判定阻尼器失效,残余变形如图7(c)所示。
按照既定的加载制度进行加载,当加载位移在25 mm以内时,试件SCSPD-1两侧的翼缘逐渐弯曲,并由中部向上下两端延伸,波形腹板仅在中部波峰处出现鼓曲,如图8(a)所示。当加载至25~30 mm时,试件整体向西北倾斜,西侧翼缘下部焊缝开裂,波形腹板中部波峰鼓曲增加,如图8(b)所示。当加载至40 mm时,试件两侧翼缘变形显著,东侧翼缘下部焊缝裂缝宽度增加至3.1 mm,判定焊缝破坏,如图8(c)所示。此时,试件的正向承载力下降至338 kN,下降了28.08%,负向承载力下降至341 kN,下降了28.66%,因此判定阻尼器失效。
按照既定的加载制度进行加载,如图9所示。当位移加载至20 mm时,试件SCSPD-2两侧的翼缘弯曲显著,如图9(a)所示。当加载至30~35 mm时,西侧翼缘下部焊缝开裂,并随位移的增加而增大。当加载至40 mm时,东侧翼缘板下部焊缝裂缝宽度增加至2.1 mm,判定焊缝破坏,如图9(b)所示。此时试件的正向承载力下降至262 kN,下降了49.12%,负向承载力下降至257 kN,下降了50.29%,因此判定阻尼器失效,其残余变形如图9(c)所示。
通过以上分析可知,4个试件在弹性阶段均未表现出明显的变形特征,随着位移的增大,两侧的翼缘板开始出现局部屈曲,然后向波形腹板过渡,在位移较大时,腹板和翼缘板的协同工作较好。其破坏特征表现为:两侧的翼缘板发生严重的弯曲变形,主要集中于上下端部,且焊缝出现了较大的裂缝;波形腹板的变形程度较翼缘板小,主要集中于中部波峰和波谷处,可见正弦波形钢板抵抗面外变形的能力较强。
试件的荷载-位移滞回曲线如图10所示。当波形腹板的材料为低屈服点钢时,与试件SCMSD-1相比,试件SCMSD-2在位移加载至30 mm时,滞回曲线的承载力下降较快,滞回环的包络面积大幅度减小,说明波形钢板横向放置时,模型的延性和耗能性能表现更佳。当波形腹板的材料为普通钢材时,与试件SCSPD-1相比,试件SCSPD-2的滞回曲线出现明显的“捏缩效应”,且承载力在加载后期下降较快,说明波形腹板竖向放置时,试件的延性和耗能性能较差。总体来说,与波形腹板横向放置的阻尼器相比,竖向放置的阻尼器滞回性能较差。将试件SCMSD-1、SCSPD-1和试件SCMSD-2、SCSPD-2对比可知,当波形腹板放置的方向相同时,低屈服点钢阻尼器的滞回曲线比普通钢材阻尼器饱满,这也验证了低屈服点钢耗能的优越性。
图11所示,4个试件的骨架曲线均经历了弹性、弹塑性、塑性和破坏阶段。弹性范围内,4个试件的承载力发展一致,呈线性上升状态。达到屈服点后,产生弹塑性变形的腹板、翼缘板消耗外界能量,其中试件SCMSD-1的塑性变形阶段持续时间较长,其峰值荷载晚于其他3个试件出现。在破坏阶段,试件SCSPD-2的骨架曲线下降速度最快,表明加载后期其滞回性能较差。
当使用相同材料的波形腹板,在峰值承载力方面,竖向波形钢板阻尼器优于横向波形钢板阻尼器。当波形腹板采用低屈服点钢时,竖向波形钢板阻尼器在加载位移较小时便达到了峰值荷载,而当波形腹板采用普通钢材时,2种阻尼器达到峰值荷载时的位移相同,说明低屈服点钢更有利于延缓阻尼器发生承载力退化。当波形腹板放置的方向相同时,由于试件SCSPD-1、SCSPD-2的波形腹板为普通钢材,屈服强度较大,故其峰值荷载也应高于低屈服点钢阻尼器,这与图11表现出来的规律一致,同时,低屈服点钢阻尼器表现出较好的延性。
塑性变形能力可通过位移延性系数μ来表示,其计算方法如式(1)所示[18]
本文采用几何作图法[19]来确定试件的峰值荷载Fm、峰值位移Δm、延性系数μ、屈服荷载Fy、屈服位移Δy、极限位移Δu和极限荷载Fd,4个试件的力学性能特征参数和延性系数如表4所示。
表4可知,当波形腹板材料相同时,试件SCMSD-2的峰值荷载比试件SCMSD-1高12.92%,试件SCSPD-2的峰值荷载比试件SCSPD-1高8.87%,说明在承载能力方面,横向放置的波形钢板阻尼器低于竖向波形钢板阻尼器。其原因在于,沿波形焊接的竖向波形腹板与上下连接板焊接时的面积大于横向波形腹板。延性系数对比发现,试件SCMSD-1比试件SCMSD-2高23.16%,试件SCSPD-1比试件SCSPD-2高22.31%。其原因在于,与上下连接板焊接轨迹为直线的横向波形腹板,在外界荷载作用下,较小的约束有助于翼缘板与波形腹板间的协同工作,使其表现出优良的延性及耗能效果。
耗能能力通常使用等效黏滞阻尼系数ξeq评价,该数值可按照式(2)计算得出[18]
式中:SABC+SCDA图12(a)中阴影部分的总面积;SOBE+SODF图12(a)中2个三角形的面积之和。图12(b)为4个试件的等效黏滞阻尼系数曲线。
图12(b)可知,弹性阶段内,腹板和翼缘板无明显变形,耗能较少;当模型进入塑性阶段,试件SCMSD-1、SCMSD-2、SCSPD-1的耗能曲线在0.45上下浮动,最大等效黏滞阻尼系数分别为0.52、0.48、0.46,而试件SCSPD-2的耗能曲线仅在0.4以下浮动,可见其耗能最差;当加载至30 mm时,试件SCMSD-1的等效黏滞阻尼系数是试件SCMSD-2的1.09倍,是试件SCSPD-2的1.21倍,说明横向放置的低屈服点钢阻尼器拥有较强的耗能能力;当位移大于30 mm时,试件SCMSD-2、SCSPD-2的耗能曲线下降速度较快,说明在加载后期,波形腹板竖向放置的阻尼器耗能表现不佳。
承载力退化通常以承载力退化系数λ来衡量,式(3)可计算出该数值[18]
式中:为第i级加载下第m圈滞回环的峰值荷载;为第i级加载下第m+1圈滞回环的峰值荷载。承载力退化曲线如图13所示。
图13可知,从加载初始至终止,4个试件均表现出稳定的承载力退化趋势,其系数均在0.8以上。相比而言,承载力退化曲线波幅最小的试件SCMSD-1拥有最稳定的承载能力。
阻尼器的等效刚度通常使用割线刚度Ki表示,式(4)可计算出该数值[18]
图14为4个试件的等效刚度退化曲线,表5为4个试件的初始弹性刚度。
图14可知,4个试件的等效刚度均随位移的增大逐渐退化,呈指数分布。试件SCMSD-2的初始弹性刚度是试件SCMSD-1的1.25倍,但试件SCMSD-1的退化速率较试件SCMSD-2慢;试件SCSPD-2的初始弹性刚度是试件SCSPD-1的1.27倍,但试件SCSPD-1的退化速率较试件SCSPD-2慢。说明波形腹板横向放置时,试件的初始弹性刚度小,但等效刚度的退化速率慢,波形腹板竖向放置时与之相反。
为探究阻尼器试件的微观受力变化状态,现选取波形腹板和翼缘板上若干应变测点进行应变分析,图15为各测点编号示意图。
由于试件钢板的厚度较小,可将其看成平面应力状态,结合材料力学及塑性力学[20]的知识求出主应变,从而得到主应变随位移的变化规律。现以试件SCMSD-1、SCMSD-2为例进行分析,以位移为横坐标、εm/εy(应变比)为纵坐标绘制曲线,其中εy为钢材的屈服应变,εm为Von Mises折算应变[21]。当位移较大时,应变片出现脱落现象,故取位移16 mm以内的主应变进行分析。试件SCMSD-1、SCMSD-2各测点的主应变-位移曲线分别如图16图17所示,各测点的屈服位移如表6所示。
图16(a)可知,波形腹板5个测点的主应变-位移曲线近似呈V字形,将各测点的应变曲线与直线Y=1比较,屈服位移由小到大依次为:测点3、测点1、测点5、测点4、测点2。测点3位于波形腹板的中心,在水平荷载作用下,会沿腹板对角线方向形成拉压力带,越靠近中心处受力越大,故测点3首先屈服,在试验现象中表现为首先从中部变形。如图16(b)所示,翼缘板上各测点应变的变化规律与波形腹板的V字形一致,测点D首先达到屈服应变,测点A最后达到屈服应变,这是因为翼缘板主要承担弯矩荷载,越靠近翼缘下部,弯矩作用越大,故测点D首先发生变形。
图17(a)可知,4个测点的变曲线均在直线Y=1上方,说明4个测点均达到了屈服应变。由图17(b)可知,试件SCMSD-2翼缘板主应变略小于腹板主应变,其原因在于,外界荷载作用下,面外刚度较大的竖向波形腹板抗剪同时也抗弯,故其翼缘板的变形相对较小。由表6可知,测点4的屈服位移最小,即首先屈服,在试验现象中表现为首先从底部变形。测点3在测点4之后屈服,测点1、2最后屈服,说明竖向波形腹板的受力机制是从底部向上部发展。
本文对4个阻尼器试件进行试验研究,通过对比分析得出以下结论和建议:
1)试件的破坏模式表现为:两侧的翼缘板率先出现局部屈曲,主要集中于上下端部,位移较大时,焊缝出现裂缝;波形腹板的变形较翼缘小,主要集中于中部波峰和波谷处。
为避免波形钢板阻尼器过早出现翼缘板屈曲和焊缝破裂,应对翼缘板和波形腹板的尺寸进行优化设计,同时应充分考虑波形腹板和翼缘板的协调变形能力,加强翼缘板上下端部的焊缝强度,保证波形钢板阻尼器的稳定耗能性能。
2)4个试件的滞回曲线均比较饱满,呈梭形,其中波形腹板横向放置的低屈服点钢阻尼器的滞回性能最好,表现出稳定的耗能性能和良好的变形能力。4个试件在加载过程中均经历了弹性、弹塑性、塑性和破坏4个阶段,与横向相比,波形腹板竖向放置时,阻尼器的承载力较高,初始弹性刚度较大,但随着位移的增加,阻尼器的承载力和刚度退化较快。4个试件的等效黏滞阻尼系数随加载的进行,前期逐渐上升,中期趋于平缓,浮动于0.45上下,后期趋向于下降,相比而言,试件SCMSD-1的耗能最佳。
3)波向相同时,低屈服点钢阻尼器的耗能量和延性系数均高于普通钢板阻尼器,这也验证了低屈服点钢优越的耗能性能和塑性变形能力;由于Q235B钢的屈服强度大于低屈服点钢,故其承载能力也大于低屈服点钢阻尼器。
4)波形腹板横向放置时,腹板中部应变首先屈服,然后向上下两端发展;波形腹板竖向放置时,腹板底部应变首先屈服,由下向上发展;翼缘板应变均由下部开始屈服,然后向上发展。
