To ensure the safety of miners,protect equipment,and improve production efficiency,the identification and intrusion early warning technology of large-scale engineering vehicles in opencast coal mines based on multi-sensor information fusion was studied. Firstly,based on the overall technical framework and implementation method,the identification and detection method of engineering vehicles based on YOLOv8 was proposed. The software and hardware platform for detection was built in the opencast coal mine,and the identification accuracy of the engineering vehicle identification and detection method based on YOLOv8 was tested through a total of 6 300 sample datasets from on-site shooting and networks. The results show that the engineering vehicle detection model based on YOLOv8 can quickly and accurately identify multiple vehicle targets in the opencast coal mine,and the detection accuracy is more than 0.85,with a low missed detection rate. In addition,the incomplete vehicle image can be recognized. The engineering vehicle identification and intrusion early warning system studied in this paper provides vehicle identification and early warning hints for the working equipment to avoid safety accidents.

为了保障矿工安全、保护设备及提高生产效率,提出基于多传感器信息融合的露天煤矿大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警技术。首先,在整体技术架构和实现方法设计的基础上,提出基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法;然后,在露天煤矿现场搭建检测软硬件平台,通过现场拍摄、网络搜集共计6 300张样本数据集,测试基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法的识别精度。结果表明:文中所提出的基于YOLOv8工程车辆检测模型,可以快速准确地识别露天煤矿作业现场内出现的多个车辆目标,检测准确率在0.85以上,漏检率较低,而且,能够识别不完整的车辆图像。提出的工程车辆识别与闯入预警系统,可为工作中的设备提供来车识别与预警提示,有助于预防安全事故的发生。

为了保障矿工安全、保护设备及提高生产效率,提出基于多传感器信息融合的露天煤矿大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警技术。首先,在整体技术架构和实现方法设计的基础上,提出基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法;然后,在露天煤矿现场搭建检测软硬件平台,通过现场拍摄、网络搜集共计6 300张样本数据集,测试基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法的识别精度。结果表明:文中所提出的基于YOLOv8工程车辆检测模型,可以快速准确地识别露天煤矿作业现场内出现的多个车辆目标,检测准确率在0.85以上,漏检率较低,而且,能够识别不完整的车辆图像。提出的工程车辆识别与闯入预警系统,可为工作中的设备提供来车识别与预警提示,有助于预防安全事故的发生。

To ensure the safety of miners,protect equipment,and improve production efficiency,the identification and intrusion early warning technology of large-scale engineering vehicles in opencast coal mines based on multi-sensor information fusion was studied. Firstly,based on the overall technical framework and implementation method,the identification and detection method of engineering vehicles based on YOLOv8 was proposed. The software and hardware platform for detection was built in the opencast coal mine,and the identification accuracy of the engineering vehicle identification and detection method based on YOLOv8 was tested through a total of 6 300 sample datasets from on-site shooting and networks. The results show that the engineering vehicle detection model based on YOLOv8 can quickly and accurately identify multiple vehicle targets in the opencast coal mine,and the detection accuracy is more than 0.85,with a low missed detection rate. In addition,the incomplete vehicle image can be recognized. The engineering vehicle identification and intrusion early warning system studied in this paper provides vehicle identification and early warning hints for the working equipment to avoid safety accidents.

近年来,人们对煤矿安全性的要求越来越高[1-3]。在露天煤矿作业中,大型工程车辆体积庞大、视野盲区多、制动速度慢,对人员或其他设备的安全构成威胁[4-5]。因此,需要及时识别这些设备并实施预警,以避免人员与设备之间的意外碰撞,减少事故的发生。
学者们针对工程车辆识别开展了诸多研究,吴逸等[6]基于改进梯度方向直方图,提出支持向量机(Support Vector Machine,SVM)算法,识别工程车辆图像,该算法对车辆的识别率达到92%。刘艺超等[7]提出一种基于YOLOv5的目标图像检测算法,实现了生产车间人与设备不安全行为的检测。李一荻[8]设计了一种工程车辆的智能识别系统,实现了对施工场景中多种工程车的目标检测。康燕仁[9]研究了基于雷达测距的工程车位置检测和防碰撞系统。黄俊洁[10]研究了基于图像识别的施工场景下的工程车辆检测方法。秦景振[11]将4GTD-LTE通信技术应用到露天煤矿车辆的安全监管中。
当前研究,还鲜有针对露天煤矿大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警系统的研究,因此,文中拟提出基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法,并进行验证,以期为露天煤矿大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警提供参考。
提出露天煤矿大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警系统架构,如图1所示。系统检测目标为7类露天煤矿常用工程车辆,包括挖掘机 、装载机、自卸卡车、移动式起重机、压路机、推土机、平地机。通过分布在主要生产区域的全天候全天时高清补光成像数字相机实现对生产区域的实时图像拍摄。拍摄的图像传送到智能目标检测硬件系统中,嵌入在智能目标检测硬件系统中基于深度学习的YOLO目标检测算法实现对7类露天煤矿常用工程车辆的目标识别,通过数据通信网络将检测结果和现场监控画面传输到地面集控中心和各个监控终端。主要生产区域的全天候全天时高清监控画面如图2所示。在监控画面中可以对进入车辆进行实时识别,将识别结果传输到主要生产区域的各个设备终端,以提醒现场设备有车进入,做好安全保护措施[12]
该系统需要依托高传输效率、高可靠性的通信网络,文中以宝日希勒露天煤矿为例开展分析。该露天煤矿实现了先进的SA独立组网模式,实现了5G网络、4G网络和无线访问接入点(Wireless Access Point,AP)网络三网建设,对生产中心区域全网络覆盖,基于此网络实现监控数据的上传,通过上传数据实现生产区域设备、人员的安全监控和管理[13-14]。网络覆盖区域如图3所示。
采用YOLOv8算法实现对露天煤矿大型工程车辆的目标检测。YOLOv8由输入端Input层、主干网络模块Backbone 层、特征融合Neck层和输出端 Head 层组成整体架构[15-17]
基于YOLOv8的露天煤矿大型工程车辆的目标检测架构如图4所示。
首先,通过输入端Input层,将准备检测的工程车辆图像输入到整个网络中;然后,由主干网络模块Backbone 层对工程车辆的图像进行特征提取,并将提取得到的特征输入到特征融合Neck层中,Neck 层对特征进行池化和特征融合;最后,将工程车辆的检测结果通过输出端 Head 层输出[18-19]
由于工程车辆图像的目标像素在拍摄图像中占比不均衡,可能会导致检测模型训练过程中的正负样本数目随之不均衡。为解决样本不均衡的问题,使用Focal Loss(FL)损失函数进行分类误差的计算:

式中:p为样本的预测概率值;a为平衡参数,随着样本数量降低而降低,从而增加对错误样本的惩罚,以优化提供样本的不均衡问题,该参数设定为0.25;η为聚焦参数,通过聚焦参数实现对难区分样本的聚焦作用,通过增加聚焦参数数值降低容易分类样本在网络中的权重,该参数设定为3。
在露天煤矿大型工程车辆作业现场开展设备识别与闯入预警试验。在现场搭建试验设备,目标检测系统试验环境配置如下:GPU选用RTX3090Ti-24GB、CPU选用I9-14900K、内存容量选用DDR5128GB内存,选用1 500 W电源和UPS电源为试验系统供电。
Ubuntu软件系统运行稳定性更强,可靠性更高,因此使用Ubuntu18.06系统,编程语言选用Python3.7.0,深度学习模型选用Pytorch1.8.0,还有CUDA11.1、 CUDNN8.1.0等软件支持模块[20]
YOLOv8检测模型中的参数设置见表1
通过露天煤矿现场拍摄、网络搜索等方法搜集7类露天煤矿常用工程车辆的图片6 300张,包括挖掘机 、装载机、自卸卡车、移动式起重机、压路机、推土机、平地机。使用LabelImg标注软件对图片中的七类工程车辆进行标注,并将其分类命名为:Excavator、Loader、Dumb_truck、Mobile_crane、Roller、Bull_dozer和Grader。标注完成后会得到与对应图片一一对应的.XML文件,在该文件中可以查看标注框的类别、尺寸和位置等信息。
将6 300张图片制作成训练数据集train、验证数据集valid。训练数据集和验证数据集的设置比例为8∶2。数据集情况见表2
文中研究了基于YOLOv8算法的露天煤矿工程车辆识别方法,为了对其进行性能分析,在此使用准确率P、召回率R、平衡分数F1、平均精度值(Average Precision,AP)、平均精度均值(mean Average Precision,mAP)作为评价指标。
1) 准确率。对工程车辆预测正确的样本数量与全部预测结果的比值为:

式中:TP为工程车辆目标被正确识别的样本数量;FP为非工程车辆目标被识别成工程车辆的数量。
2) 召回率。对工程车辆预测正确的样本数量与所有正向样本数量的比值为:
R = T P T P + F N
式中FN为工程车辆目标未被正确识别的样本数量。
3) 平衡分数。为准确率P和召回率R的调和平均数:

4) 平均精度值。如果只是使用准确率和召回率对检测模型进行评价容易得到片面评价结果,因此使用精度值来描述对各类车辆的检测精度:

5) 平均精度均值。是工程车辆检测精度值的平均数,平均精度均值越高,说明检测模型的总和性能越好[21]:

使用YOLOv8算法训练过程生成图的工程车辆训练样本box_loss曲线、训练样本目标检测loss均值曲线、训练样本分类loss曲线、训练样本精度曲线、Recall 曲线、工程车辆验证样本 bounding box 损失曲线、验证样本目标检测 loss 均值曲线、验证样本分类loss 均值曲线、mAP50:95曲线和 mAP50曲线,如图5所示。
图5中,Loss 曲线是推测为工程车辆检测损失的均值,表示检测模型的预测值与真实情况的差异性,该曲线越接近0,说明模型的鲁棒性越优异,模型算法适应数据变化情况的能力越好,模型检测得越准确。由图5可以看出训练样本和验证样本的3种损失函数都急剧下降,最后达到稳定,处于收敛状态。
mAP是由准确率P和召回率R作为XY轴而围成的面积,Precision 和 Recall 作为2轴作图后围成的面积,其数值越高说明算法检测精度越高。
对于7类工程车辆Excavator、Loader、Dumb_truck、Mobile_crane、Roller、Bull_dozer和Grader的准确度、召回率和平衡分数变化曲线如图6所示。
文中基于YOLOv8工程车辆检测模型平均识别准确率及与基于AlexNet 算法的准确率对比见表3
表3可知:对于7类工程车辆Excavator、Loader、Dumb_truck、Mobile_crane、Roller、Bull_dozer和Grader的平均准确率达到0.945,高于常规AlexNet 算法的平均准确率。
对露天煤矿工程车辆作业现场出现的车辆识别结果如图7所示。
图7可知:文中基于YOLOv8工程车辆检测模型可以对作业现场内出现的多个车辆目标作快速准确识别,且可以识别不完整的车辆图像。
1) 提出大型工程车辆识别与闯入预警的整体技术架构和实现方法,包括软硬件平台的搭建和通信网络的建设。
2) 提出基于YOLOv8的工程车辆识别与检测方法与实现路径。
