In order to investigate the visual load of drivers at the threshold zone of linear highway tunnels,five visual indicators of drivers were collected through the real vehicle test. A visual load evaluation model was developed by the Topsis improved factor analysis method,the visual load at different times and locations was analyzed,the evaluation criteria of driving comfort were proposed based on the constructed visual load curve,the generalization ability of the constructed load model was verified by using published data,and finally,the influence of visual indicators on visual load was investigated by sensitivity analysis. The results show that when the driver locates about -13 m to 55 m (12:00) and -10 m to 49 m (15:00) from the entrance,the visual load exceeds the boundary value (0.906),indicating the driver's driving comfort and safety is extremely low. The visual load and closeness of the drivers near the entrance are much greater than those inside and outside the entrance,and the visual load and closeness at 18:00 are much lower than those at 12:00 and 15:00. The sensitivity parameters of the visual indicators are fixation duration,pupil area,fixation time,saccade range,saccade speed in descending order.

为探究直线公路隧道入口段驾驶者的视觉负荷,首先,通过实车试验采集5种视觉指标,采用Topsis改进因子分析法建立视觉负荷评价模型;然后,分析不同时间及位置下视觉负荷的变化特征,基于构建的视觉负荷曲线提出行车舒适评价标准,并运用已发表数据验证构建负荷模型的泛化能力;最后,通过敏感度分析探究视觉指标对视觉负荷的影响程度。结果表明:当驾驶者位于距洞口-13~55 m(12:00)、-10~49 m(15:00)时,视觉负荷超过临界值(0.906),驾驶者的行车舒适度和安全性极低;洞口驾驶者的视觉负荷值和接近度远大于洞内和洞外;18:00的视觉负荷和接近度远低于12:00和15:00。视觉指标的敏感度参数从大到小依次为注视时间、瞳孔面积、注视次数、扫视幅度、扫视速度。

为探究直线公路隧道入口段驾驶者的视觉负荷,首先,通过实车试验采集5种视觉指标,采用Topsis改进因子分析法建立视觉负荷评价模型;然后,分析不同时间及位置下视觉负荷的变化特征,基于构建的视觉负荷曲线提出行车舒适评价标准,并运用已发表数据验证构建负荷模型的泛化能力;最后,通过敏感度分析探究视觉指标对视觉负荷的影响程度。结果表明:当驾驶者位于距洞口-13~55 m(12:00)、-10~49 m(15:00)时,视觉负荷超过临界值(0.906),驾驶者的行车舒适度和安全性极低;洞口驾驶者的视觉负荷值和接近度远大于洞内和洞外;18:00的视觉负荷和接近度远低于12:00和15:00。视觉指标的敏感度参数从大到小依次为注视时间、瞳孔面积、注视次数、扫视幅度、扫视速度。

In order to investigate the visual load of drivers at the threshold zone of linear highway tunnels,five visual indicators of drivers were collected through the real vehicle test. A visual load evaluation model was developed by the Topsis improved factor analysis method,the visual load at different times and locations was analyzed,the evaluation criteria of driving comfort were proposed based on the constructed visual load curve,the generalization ability of the constructed load model was verified by using published data,and finally,the influence of visual indicators on visual load was investigated by sensitivity analysis. The results show that when the driver locates about -13 m to 55 m (12:00) and -10 m to 49 m (15:00) from the entrance,the visual load exceeds the boundary value (0.906),indicating the driver's driving comfort and safety is extremely low. The visual load and closeness of the drivers near the entrance are much greater than those inside and outside the entrance,and the visual load and closeness at 18:00 are much lower than those at 12:00 and 15:00. The sensitivity parameters of the visual indicators are fixation duration,pupil area,fixation time,saccade range,saccade speed in descending order.

隧道入口段的交通事故数占隧道交通事故总数的28.6%,是隧道事故高发区域[1]。隧道入口段光环境变化剧烈且洞内外存在较大的亮度差异,促使驾驶者产生黑洞效应,从而对前方车辆或目标物视认不清从而产生感知障碍,严重威胁隧道的行车安全[2]。因此,探究公路隧道入口段驾驶者的信息感知情况是改善隧道行车安全的关键。
已有研究表明:分析视觉负荷变化规律,有助于了解隧道环境下驾驶者获取视觉信息的具体过程,反映驾驶者对隧道光环境信息的真实感知,从而对隧道照明环境进行针对性的改善[3]。驾驶者行车过程中产生的视觉负荷是多因素、多信息共同作用的结果,目前,针对驾驶者视觉负荷的评价主要通过生理参数测量的方法,即通过量化表征眼动参数来评价驾驶者视觉负荷,主要分为视觉特性参数和瞳孔生理变化2个方面。视觉特性参数方面,陈培焱等[4]将驾驶者眨眼次数增加值作为评价指标,对隧道入出口路段不同频闪、频率条件下驾驶者视觉负荷变化特性展开了研究。彭金栓等[5]基于注视行为引入注视熵率值的概念,分析了熟练程度及交叉口不同通行方式对驾驶人视觉负荷特性的影响。瞳孔生理变化方面,段萌萌等[6]采用瞳孔面积最大瞬态速度和视觉震荡持续时间作为评判视觉负荷大小的依据,描述了驾驶者在隧道出入口的视觉负荷变化规律。王首硕等[7]基于瞳孔面积变化速率,应用双因素方差分析法进行小汽车与货车、入口段与出口段的差异性显著检验,并结合变异系数分析了驾驶者视觉负荷的整体变化规律。综上可知:现有关于视觉负荷的研究大多根据单一视觉指标提出视觉负荷评价指标,无法基于多个视觉特征指标综合评价驾驶者的视觉负荷。另外,上述研究没有探究不同时间、位置条件下驾驶者的视觉负荷差异,以及视觉指标对视觉负荷的相对重要程度,也没有提出量化驾驶者视觉舒适程度的具体评价标准。
鉴于此,笔者拟通过实车试验采集驾驶者注视时间、注视次数、扫视幅度、扫视速度和瞳孔面积等数据,基于Topsis改进因子分析法建立综合多种视觉指标的视觉负荷模型,研究公路隧道入口段不同位置、时间条件下驾驶者视觉负荷的变化特征,基于构建的视觉负荷曲线提出行车舒适评价标准,并运用已发表数据验证构建负荷模型的泛化能力,通过敏感度分析探究视觉指标对视觉负荷的影响程度,以期更准确地评价隧道入口区域的安全性,为研究交通安全设施提供理论依据。
为确保驾驶者在行驶时不受线形和纵坡等光环境以外因素的影响,选取火凤山隧道作为试验隧道,并在晴天12:00进行试验。火凤山隧道坐落于中国重庆,入口段线形为直线,入口段朝向为向阳面,坡度在2%以下,隧道全长1km,隧道设计速度为 50 km/h,洞门为削竹式。试验隧道和设备如图1 所示。
选择20名被试进行现场实车试验,年龄在20~50岁,矫正视力均在5.0以上,且有1年以上驾龄。试验前,向被试说明试验路线、试验流程及注意事项。试验时,给被试配戴好眼动仪,采用定标法对被试注视点进行校准定标,确保其注视区域与眼动仪捕捉的注释区域一致。试验时,被试在自由流状态下行车,记录不同时间下被试的视觉指标数据。
选取注视时间z1、注视次数z2、扫视幅度z3、扫视速度z4和瞳孔面积z5作为视觉负荷的评价指标,以描述隧道光环境变化对于驾驶者紧张情绪的影响以及驾驶者获取隧道光环境信息的难易程度。
因子分析的本质思想是在多指标间存在较强相关性的前提下,通过降维的方式简化数据结构,以发现数据的隐藏规律和内在联系。Topsis法是评价多目标决策方法的一种有效方法,其基本思想是将备选样本按最优方案和最差方案进行排序。具体计算步骤如下。
1) 设有n个样本,每个样本有m个观测值,将原始数据进行标准化处理,并转化为矩阵形式。
2) 计算系数相关矩阵R,并进行主成分分析。
3) 求解R的特征值和相应的特征向量,通过特征值大小确定。通常,特征值应大于1。
4) 求解p个公共因子的加载矩阵AA=[A ] m × p。为体现公共因子变量的含义,旋转载荷矩阵,以尽量减少最高载荷变量的数量。
5) 当因子变量确定后,用Thompsons因子回归法计算每个样本的公共因子得分。
6) 通过下式计算综合因子得分y

7) 建立指标体系,设研究对象集为Sti(i=1,2,…,n),指标集为Vtj(j=1,2,…,n),t为测试点。
8) 对Sti进行因子分析,得到对象集Sti的因子ftk和每个对象集的因子得分矩阵( Y t i ) n × l
9) 以因子得分作为评价指标,形成一个具有l个指标、n个评价对象和yti数据的新指标体系。此外,通过下式进行一致化处理。

因子分析前,需要通过KMO检验和Bartelett球形检验判断变量之间的相关性,以判断数据是否适合进行因子分析,KMO检验和Bartelett球形检验结果见表1。从表1可以看出,KMO值为0.87,大于0.7,Bartelett球形检验显著,表明变量间的相关性较强,可从原始变量间提取公共因子,满足因子分析的前提。
为了能够使选择的公因子个数满足数据的实际情况,第1次因子分析先判断其碎石图,再选择公因子个数,然后再利用选好的公因子个数进行第2次因子分析。碎石图计算结果表明:前2个公因子的特征值均大于1,对数据有较大影响,因此,选择公因子数为2。表2为公因子提取过程的相关计算参数,其中公因子方差越高表明公因子对指标的解释度越高,也代表了指标选择的合理性。从表2可以看出,5种指标的公因子方差提取值均大于0.8,说明选择的公因子能够很好地反映原始变量的主要信息。
表3为因子旋转的公因子方差贡献矩阵。在因子旋转后,前2个公因子的特征值远大于剩余3个,累计方差贡献率达到90%以上,表明旋转后的方差贡献矩阵反映的驾驶者视觉负荷内容更加全面。由表2的因子载荷矩阵可知:在第1个公因子中,注视时间、注视次数、扫视速度和瞳孔面积的因子载荷分别达到0.920、0.980、0.934和0.933;在第2个公因子中,扫视幅度的因子载荷达到0.997。因此,选取旋转后的前2个公因子作为量化模型的计算基础,可以很好地将驾驶者视觉负荷与隧道光环境信息进行联系。
根据表2中的因子得分系数矩阵,得到的公因子得分函数如下:

将公因子的方差贡献率作为权重,并以方差贡献率之和作为基础进行权重归一化处理,综合线形加权模型,得到驾驶者视觉负荷评价模型S

通过式(9)计算得到的视觉负荷值有正有负,为便于对比评价,采用极值处理法将所有数据进行归一化,计算结果如图2所示。由图2可知:驾驶者的视觉负荷从大到小为12:00、15:00、18:00,且 18:00 的驾驶者视觉负荷值变化较为平缓,舒适性高,行车更加安全。而且离洞口较远时,视觉负荷值较小且增加较为缓慢,表明驾驶者较为舒适,行车风险较低;逐渐驶向洞口时,视觉负荷和视觉不适急速增加,行车风险增加;驶向洞内后,视觉负荷和视觉不适缓慢下降,行车风险降低。
基于上述分析,视觉负荷量化曲线能较好地体现驾驶者的视觉负荷情况和行车安全性。因此,可将视觉负荷值作为驾驶者行车安全的评价标准。结合视觉负荷量化曲线的突变点与斜率变化,并将视觉负荷值85%分位数定义为视觉负荷变化临界值(该值可评估瞬时视觉负荷是否接近驾驶者的生理极限),得到可评估驾驶者行车舒适度的视觉负荷评价标准,并实时判别当前所处的险态驾驶级别,行车舒适评价标准见表4[8-9]。结合图2表4可知:当驾驶者位于距洞口-13~55m(12:00)、-10~49m(15:00) 时,视觉负荷超过临界值(0.906),此时驾驶者的行车舒适度和安全性极低;当驾驶者距洞口-137m(12:00)、-119m(15:00)、-74m(18:00) 时,视觉负荷高于0.416,驾驶者感觉到明显不适,具有较强的行车隐患,且随着行车距离的增加,视觉不适感增加,行车安全性逐渐下降。这表明:通过视觉负荷评价模型可以对单个或多个视觉指标进行综合的量化分析,从而得到不同时间、位置条件下驾驶者视觉负荷的具体变化规律,提出的行车舒适评价标准可以确定驾驶者视觉不适的具体位置和范围,可作为评价驾驶者视觉承受限度的表征参数和分析隧道环境安全性的依据,并为直线公路隧道入口段的照明改善设置和洞口遮光棚设置提供参考。
为分析时间、位置与视觉负荷评价模型计算结果之间的相关性,并挖掘直线公路隧道入口段驾驶者视觉的变化规律,通过Topsis改进因子分析法对洞外(距洞口距离-75、-50、-25m)、洞口(距洞口距离0、25、50m)和洞内(距洞口距离75、100、125m)3个位置区段,以及 3个时间区段(12:00、15:00、 18:00)的视觉负荷值进行指标排名,排名结果见表5
同时,为体现基于Topsis改进因子分析法指标排序的准确性和严谨性,采用单因素方差分析法,对不同位置的视觉负荷进行差异性显著检验,结果如图3所示。
对比图3表5可知:差异性显著检验结果与指标排序结果基本一致。对不同位置的视觉负荷而言,洞口驾驶者的视觉负荷值和接近度远大于洞内,而洞内的视觉负荷值和接近度略大于洞外的视觉负荷值。AMUNDSEN等[10]发现,事故主要发生在隧道洞口附近,比隧道内的危险性高4倍左右。梁波等[11]认为,瞳孔面积在入口内和出口内最大,出口外和入口外相差不大,心率和呼吸频率均在入口内最大。由图3表5可知:不同时间视觉负荷的排序依次为12:00、15:00、18:00,且18:00的视觉负荷和接近度远低于12:00和15:00。梅家林等[12]研究发现,不同时段隧道入口区域驾驶者的瞳孔面积瞬时变化速度按大小排序为:正午(15.028 mm2/s)、夜晚(6.869 mm2/s)、傍晚(4.034 mm2/s)。ROBATSCH等[13]发现,58.8%的交通事故发生在白天,远远高于下午。直线公路隧道入口段不同时间、不同位置下视觉负荷的排序结果与已有文献中关于隧道入口段的事故率、驾驶者心理压力、生理指标的变化情况基本一致,表明基于Topsis改进因子分析提出的视觉负荷模型可探究不同位置、不同时间条件下驾驶者视觉负荷的具体差异。
为体现提出的视觉负荷评价模型的广泛应用性,应用该模型对已发表文献中不同行车条件下单个或多个视觉特征指标进行了量化。其中,案例1中平均车速为80 km/h,隧道为长隧道,入口段线型为直线,试验车辆为大型车、中型车及小型车,视觉指标为瞳孔面积[14];案例2为模拟驾驶试验,驾驶者在自由流状态下行驶,隧道为特长隧道,入口段线型为直线,视觉指标为瞳孔面积[15];案例3中驾驶者在自由流状态下夜间行驶,隧道为长隧道,入口段线型为曲线,试验车辆为小型车,视觉指标为注视时间、注视次数、扫视幅度、瞳孔面积[16]。3个案例的视觉指标量化结果如图4所示。
图4可知:白天的视觉负荷增长速率大于夜晚,且夜晚的视觉负荷曲线波动较小,表明夜晚的驾驶者在隧道洞口附近行车时视觉舒适性更高,危险性较低。由图4可知:当驾驶者位于距隧道洞口16~29m (案例1)、47~78m(案例2)时,驾驶者行车极不舒适,危险性较高;当驾驶者距隧道洞口-108m (案例1)、-91m(案例2)、-73m(案例3)时,驾驶者感觉到了视觉不适,且随着行车距离的增加,行车不适感逐渐加强,行车风险逐渐增加。通过本节研究结果可知:本文提出的视觉负荷模型和行车舒适评价标准可量化不同行车条件下单个或多个视觉特征指标,具有较好的适用性。
基于提出的视觉负荷量化模型,采用敏感度分析可探究瞳孔面积、扫视幅度、扫视速度、注视时间、注视次数对视觉负荷的影响程度[17]。在敏感度分析中,输入单一变量来确定驾驶者的视觉负荷,而其余变量为平均值且不变,具体计算见下式,计算结果如图5所示。

式中:SLSM分别为输出变量最大值和最小值;Si为输出变量最大差值;SAi为敏感度参数值,%。
图5可知:不同时间、不同位置下视觉指标的敏感度参数从大到小依次为注视时间、瞳孔面积、注视次数、扫视幅度、扫视速度。已有文献表明:驾驶者的扫视速度、扫视幅度与隧道弯曲半径正相关[18],而文中试验隧道入口段为直线,因此,在5个视觉指标中,扫视速度和扫视幅度的敏感度参数最小,表明在该隧道中扫视速度、扫视幅度对视觉负荷的影响最小。由图5a可知:从12:00到18:00,驾驶者注视时间的敏感度参数逐渐下降,驾驶者瞳孔面积的敏感度参数逐渐上升。由图5b可知:洞口处驾驶者瞳孔面积的敏感度参数高于洞内、洞外,而注视时间的敏感度参数低于洞内、洞外。这是因为驾驶者的视觉振荡主要发生在隧道明暗适应过程,驾驶者的瞳孔变化情况隧道洞口附近时最为明显[19]。综上所述,基于视觉负荷量化模型对视觉指标进行敏感度分析,可探究不同时间、位置条件下各视觉指标对于视觉负荷的相对重要程度,并对驾驶者的视觉指标进行重要性排序。这有助于探究驾驶者视觉指标与隧道光环境的内在联系,帮助研究者筛除相对重要程度较低的视觉指标,减少信息采集和数据分析的工作量。
1) 当驾驶者位于距洞口-13~55m(12:00)、 -10~49m (15:00)时,视觉负荷超过临界值,此时驾驶者的行车舒适度和安全性极低;当驾驶者距洞口-137m(12:00)、-119m(15:00)、-74m(18:00)时,视觉负荷高于0.416,驾驶者感觉到明显不适,具有较强的行车隐患。
2) 距离洞口较远时,驾驶者的视觉负荷缓慢增加;在洞口附近时,视觉负荷快速上升至最大值;驶向洞内时,视觉负荷缓慢下降。
3) 对不同位置的视觉负荷而言,洞口驾驶者的视觉负荷值和接近度远大于洞内和洞外,洞内的视觉负荷值和接近度略大于洞外的视觉负荷值;不同时间视觉负荷的排序依次为12:00、15:00、18:00,且18:00的视觉负荷和接近度远低于12:00和15:00。
4) 不同时间、不同位置下视觉指标的敏感度参数从大到小依次为注视时间、瞳孔面积、注视次数、扫视幅度、扫视速度;从12:00到18:00,驾驶者注视时间的敏感度参数逐渐下降,驾驶者瞳孔面积的敏感度参数逐渐上升;洞口处驾驶者瞳孔面积的敏感度参数高于洞内、洞外,而注视时间的敏感度参数低于洞内、洞外。
