In order to address the severe consequences of lithium battery vehicle fires during ship transportation,a vehicle fire simulation model of a ro-ro ship deck lithium battery was constructed. Firstly,the accuracy of the fire simulation model of single and dual lithium battery vehicles was verified by using the full-scale fire experiment data of lithium battery vehicles. Then,the verified simulation model was applied to simulate the fire of a lithium battery vehicle on the deck of a ro-ro ship,and the variation rules of fire heat release rate,temperature and radiant heat under different vehicle spacing were analyzed. The results show that in the initial stage of the lithium battery vehicle fire,the flame first spreads to the side-parked vehicles,especially the side of the vehicle affected by the jet fire,and then expands to the front and rear vehicles. The front vehicle suffers significantly more fire damage than the rear vehicle. At the same time,jet fire aggravates the spread and development of lithium battery vehicle fires. The temperature of the area with jet fire is significantly higher than that of the area without jet fire,and the adjacent vehicles affected by jet fire are ignited first. The numerical simulation method can effectively simulate the fire development and spreading process of the vehicle carrying lithium battery on a ship.

为应对船舶运输中锂电池汽车火灾带来的严重后果,构建滚装船甲板上的锂电池汽车火灾仿真模型。首先,利用锂电池汽车全尺寸火灾试验数据,验证单辆和双辆锂电池汽车火灾仿真模型准确性。随后,应用经验证的仿真模型对滚装船甲板上的锂电池汽车火灾模拟仿真,分析不同车辆间距下火灾热释放速率、温度和辐射热等变化特征。结果表明:在锂电池汽车火灾初期,火焰会先蔓延至并排停放的车辆,特别是受到喷射火影响的一侧车辆,然后再扩展至前后两侧的车辆,且前方车辆遭受的火灾损毁程度明显大于后方车辆。同时,喷射火会加剧锂电池汽车火灾的蔓延和发展,有喷射火区域的温度显著高于无喷射火区域,而受到喷射火影响的邻近车辆则最先被引燃。通过数值仿真手段可有效模拟船舶载运锂电池汽车火灾发展及蔓延过程。

为应对船舶运输中锂电池汽车火灾带来的严重后果,构建滚装船甲板上的锂电池汽车火灾仿真模型。首先,利用锂电池汽车全尺寸火灾试验数据,验证单辆和双辆锂电池汽车火灾仿真模型准确性。随后,应用经验证的仿真模型对滚装船甲板上的锂电池汽车火灾模拟仿真,分析不同车辆间距下火灾热释放速率、温度和辐射热等变化特征。结果表明:在锂电池汽车火灾初期,火焰会先蔓延至并排停放的车辆,特别是受到喷射火影响的一侧车辆,然后再扩展至前后两侧的车辆,且前方车辆遭受的火灾损毁程度明显大于后方车辆。同时,喷射火会加剧锂电池汽车火灾的蔓延和发展,有喷射火区域的温度显著高于无喷射火区域,而受到喷射火影响的邻近车辆则最先被引燃。通过数值仿真手段可有效模拟船舶载运锂电池汽车火灾发展及蔓延过程。

In order to address the severe consequences of lithium battery vehicle fires during ship transportation,a vehicle fire simulation model of a ro-ro ship deck lithium battery was constructed. Firstly,the accuracy of the fire simulation model of single and dual lithium battery vehicles was verified by using the full-scale fire experiment data of lithium battery vehicles. Then,the verified simulation model was applied to simulate the fire of a lithium battery vehicle on the deck of a ro-ro ship,and the variation rules of fire heat release rate,temperature and radiant heat under different vehicle spacing were analyzed. The results show that in the initial stage of the lithium battery vehicle fire,the flame first spreads to the side-parked vehicles,especially the side of the vehicle affected by the jet fire,and then expands to the front and rear vehicles. The front vehicle suffers significantly more fire damage than the rear vehicle. At the same time,jet fire aggravates the spread and development of lithium battery vehicle fires. The temperature of the area with jet fire is significantly higher than that of the area without jet fire,and the adjacent vehicles affected by jet fire are ignited first. The numerical simulation method can effectively simulate the fire development and spreading process of the vehicle carrying lithium battery on a ship.

新能源汽车产业飞速发展推动着全球汽车海运贸易量的增长[1],海运因其强大的货运能力以及相对低廉的成本成为世界上最受倚重的商业运输方式之一。然而,诸多安全隐患也随之浮现[2]。其中,锂电池汽车火灾是诱发运输船安全事故的重要因素之一。因此,探明锂电池汽车火灾致灾过程,分析锂电池汽车火灾演化机制,对于预防此类事故具有重要实用意义。
当前,学者们大多针对单辆锂电池汽车火灾开展研究。例如:PETER等[3]通过全尺寸运动型多用途汽车火灾试验,发现电动汽车的放热率高于传统化石燃料汽车。SUN Peiyi[4]和SUNGWOOK [5]等开展全尺寸电动汽车火灾试验,提出锂电池汽车火灾主要分锂电池组燃烧和汽车车体燃烧2部分。LI Huang等[6]开展全尺寸锂电池汽车火灾试验,发现锂电池组燃烧主要分为2个阶段,第一阶段是初始锂电池模块发生热失控,第二阶段是整个锂电池组发生火灾。CUI Yan等[7]通过全尺寸锂电池汽车火灾试验研究锂电池汽车燃烧行为以及火灾扩散过程。
此外,由于船舶火灾试验成本高、危险性大等缺点,目前针对船舶火灾研究多以仿真模拟形式开展。例如:李田成[8]通过设计密闭舱室仿真模型,分析火场内温度和烟气蔓延规律。刘志强等[9]通过数值仿真技术研究油船船舱火灾温度、烟雾和CO体积分数变化特征。李显等[10]模拟了船舱甲板车辆火灾的典型场景,探讨了火灾能见度、温度场和CO体积分数场的变化规律。上述研究主要研究单辆、2辆锂电池汽车的火灾蔓延机制,而对于存在喷射火的船载锂电池汽车火灾研究还相对较少。
鉴于此,笔者拟结合全尺寸锂电池汽车火灾试验数据,构建锂电池汽车火灾仿真模型,模拟船载条件下锂电池汽车火灾,进而探究滚装船甲板不同停放间距下多辆锂电池汽车的火灾特性,分析温度、辐射热和热释放速率等变化特性,以期为船舶运输锂电池汽车火灾防控提供技术支持。
参考特斯拉锂电池汽车,构建长4.75 m、宽2.13 m、高1.62 m的车辆仿真模型。汽车锂电池组共包括48 块锂电池,整体呈6行、8列的矩阵。其中,单个锂电池长148.30 mm、宽98.00 mm、高26.70 mm,车辆材料具体参数见表1
设置火源热释放速率峰值为1 700 kW,增长至峰值时间为40 s,为超快速火类型[11]。其中,锂电池汽车平均热释放速率峰值约为8 MW[12]。根据试验场景设置2辆车间距为0.60 m[6],左车为初始起火车辆,共设置25 处温度测点(THCP01 — THCP25),如图1所示;图2为汽车滚装船甲板锂电池汽车热电偶位置俯视图。
仿真模型网格尺寸需满足以下条件[11]:

式中: D *为火灾特征直径,m; Q ·为热释放速率,KW; ρ 为空气密度,kg/m3,此处取值为1.2 kg/m3; C p为空气的比热容,kJ/(kg·K),此处取值为1.014 KJ/(kg·K); T 为环境温度,K,此处取值为293 K;g为重力加速度,m/s2; δ X为网格单元的尺寸,m。
Q ·= 1 700 kW代入式(1),计算得出 D *= 1.18 m,结合式(2),进一步获得 δ X的取值范围为[0.074,0.30]。分别选取3种网格尺寸(0.2 m × 0.2 m × 0.2 m、0.15 m × 0.15 m × 0.15 m、0.1 m × 0.1 m × 0.1 m)开展网格独立性分析,结果如图3所示。不同网格尺寸下的火灾热释放速率高度一致,综合考虑计算精度与运算时间,最终确定火灾附近区域网格尺寸0.2 m × 0.2 m × 0.2 m,其余区域网格尺寸0.4 m × 0.4 m × 0.4 m,共计网格数量约为1.58×105个。
选取荷电状态(State of Charge,SOC)为100 %情况下的电动汽车火灾场景为对照试验。图4为锂电池汽车火灾模拟结果与真实试验中热释放速率曲线对比情况。可以发现,仿真结果与火灾试验数据在前700 s内吻合较好。
图5为不同位置热电偶的温度情况。可以发现,在双车火灾试验中,邻车靠近起火车辆一侧最先被引燃,当THCP11 达到材料燃点(300 ℃)时认为邻车被引燃;当THCP13温度快速上升则认为相邻车辆远离火焰的外侧被引燃,即全车进入燃烧状态;当THCP08温度快速上升时,认为初始起火车辆火焰已从底盘蔓延至车头,全车进入燃烧状态。
表2为全尺寸试验与模拟时间对比情况。可以发现,邻车被点燃、初始车全车起火和邻车全车起火试验和仿真时间差异较小。综上,锂电池汽车火灾数值仿真模型在一定程度上可用于模拟锂电池汽车火灾的发展过程。
参考某汽车滚装船结构,构建长度140 m,宽度24 m,高度2 m的滚装船仿真模型。滚装船甲板采用钢制结构,并于甲板中心设置9 辆以3行、3列矩阵形式布置的锂电池汽车,根据车辆左右、前后间距差异设置3种火灾场景,见表3。其中,中心位置的车辆为初始着火车辆,火源位置设置于车辆底盘。此外,在9辆汽车顶部设置9枚热辐射传感器(R00—R08),并选取热辐射值16 kW/m2作为车辆被点燃的临界判据[13],如图6所示。
图7为3种场景下热释放速率对比情况;表4为3种场景中辐射热探测器达到16 kW/m2的时间。可以发现,车辆间距越大,相邻车辆被点燃的时间越长,火灾蔓延速率越慢,计算域内热释放速率峰值越低,峰值出现时间越久。
图8为3种场景下火场中心热辐射变化情况。可以看出,在前450 s内,火灾中心所受热辐射绝大部分来自于初始起火车辆,因此,在该阶段不同停放间距下的车辆火灾呈现基本相似的热辐射曲线变化趋势,最大峰值为160 kW/m2;在450 ~ 1 100 s之间,火灾中心所受热辐射主要来自被引燃的相邻车辆,车辆间距越小,相邻车辆越早被引燃,且相同时间内被引燃的可燃物越多。因此,场景1中第2个峰值出现的时间最早、峰值最大。
图9为场景2中火灾辐射热值的对比情况,其中,R01为遭到火焰喷射一侧车辆的辐射值,R02为未被火焰喷射的车辆一侧的辐射值。可以发现,遭到火焰喷射一侧的车辆,在车辆稳态火与喷射火的共同作用之下,其被点燃的时间比未被火焰喷射的车辆更早。
图10为不同场景下火场中央热电偶THCP测得的温度随时间变化情况。可以看出,在不同火灾场景下,火场中央的温度变化趋势基本相同。在火灾发展阶段,火场中央温度出现几次温度的阶跃,这主要是由于喷射火焰的出现,导致火灾温度急剧增加。
图11为场景2中有喷射火焰侧和无喷射火焰侧热电偶监测数据对比图。可以发现,在喷射火与稳态火的共同作用下,温度快速升高,有喷射火焰一侧车辆被引燃的时间缩短。
图12图13分别为场景1和场景3在火灾初始阶段的温度云图。可以发现,喷射火不仅直接提高火场温度,还会对火灾的蔓延方向产生影响。在火灾初始阶段,火场内最高温度出现在发生喷射火侧。第70 s时,场景1中左侧车辆周围的温度已达400 ℃,同时火焰已蔓延至相邻左侧车辆。而场景3中高温区域主要集中在2车之间。车辆间距会显著影响喷射火的温度分布特征,这主要是由于火焰撞击邻车后,部分火羽流沿着车身蔓延,火焰与空气接触的面积增大,进而导致火焰加剧燃烧。而间距越小,火羽流沿车顶与底盘蔓延的比重越多,导致大部分热失控产生的可燃气体在撞击车身后沿水平方向蔓延。而车辆间距较大时,射流火焰撞击车身后未燃燃料的质量偏低,由于火羽流具有相对较大的竖直运动速度,进而导致火焰更容易向上运动。
图14图15分别为场景1和场景3在250 s时的温度分布图。可以发现,当火灾进入发展阶段时,随火场温度升高,初始着火车辆相邻的车辆开始被点燃。在场景1中高温区域在初始火源车辆左右两侧分布较均匀。但在场景3中,高温区域主要分布在初始着火车辆和左侧车辆。这主要是由于场景3中右侧车辆相较于场景1距离初始着火车辆更远,故在同一时刻下,右侧车辆所在区域温度更低。由于初始着火车辆产生的喷射火焰方向向左,故左侧车辆被更早引燃。
图16图17分别为场景1和场景3在600 s时的温度分布图。可以发现,场景1在600 s时已经处于火灾燃烧的猛烈阶段,同时整个区域都已经被高温火焰包围,初始着火车辆左右两侧以及前侧车辆已部分被烧毁。而对于场景3,在600 s时火灾还未发展至燃烧最猛烈阶段,但初始着火车辆和遭受喷射火焰左侧车辆的塑料表面部分被烧毁。
此外,根据图12图17中火灾温度场的变化情况,可以发现,高温会先集中在被喷射火影响的车辆处,并且随布置间距增加,此现象会更明显。在布置间距较大的场景3中可以发现,初始着火车辆后方的车辆燃烧剩余物较多,而前方车辆的燃烧剩余物较少,说明前方车辆的损毁严重度比后方车辆更高,这主要是由于锂电池组主要分布在车辆的中后部,进而导致车辆后部区域着火后的辐射热值较高,燃烧后果更严重。
1) 在火灾起始和发展阶段,电动汽车布置间距会直接影响火势的发展。相邻车辆间距越大,相同区域内可燃物密度越小,热释放速率峰值出现时间越久,且峰值越低,燃烧剧烈程度越弱。
2) 锂电池汽车动力电池的喷射火现象会显著加快火灾的扩大规模,喷射火爆发侧的火焰最高温度会显著提高。2车间距越小,喷射火危害范围越大,对邻车引燃效果越强。
3) 受车辆外形影响,两侧车辆受到热辐射作用明显强于前后车辆,两侧车辆最先被引燃。由于锂电池组主要分布在车辆的中后部,前后停放的车辆锂电池热失控温度较低且燃烧速率要远快于一般可燃物,因此,前车锂电池组比后车更早被引燃,且火灾损毁的程度更高。
