To explore the changing characteristics of driving load under the construction environment of underground tunnels,a test platform was built,and a driving simulation test was carried out in the construction environment of underground tunnels to obtain the driver's eye movement and ECG data. Taking the time domain index of heart rate,heart rate variability(HRV) and average number of blinks frequency(BF) as parameters,a comprehensive evaluation model of driving load based on factor analysis and entropy was constructed,and a classification method of driving load based on K-means clustering algorithm was proposed. The results show that in the relatively monotonous environment of non-construction sections in underground tunnels,psychological pressure could more accurately reflect the driving load compared to visual pressure. However,in the complex and changeable environment of construction section,psychological pressure is prone to being influenced by driving operations. Moreover,when line of sight is limited,a single visual pressure indicator tends to overestimate the driving load. The comprehensive evaluation model of driving load based on eye movement and ECG exhibits high sensitivity and good stability,and can correct the evaluation results of a single indicator and effectively quantify driving load.

为探究地下洞室施工环境下驾驶负荷变化特征,搭建试验平台并开展地下洞室施工环境下的驾驶模拟试验,获取驾驶员眼动及心电(ECG)数据;以心率、心率变异性(HRV)时域指标及平均眨眼次数(BF)为参量,构建基于因子分析与熵值法的驾驶负荷综合评价模型,并提出基于K-means聚类算法的驾驶负荷等级划分方法。结果表明:地下洞室非施工路段环境相对单调,心理压力相比视觉压力能更准确地反映驾驶负荷;施工路段环境复杂多变,心理压力易受驾驶操作影响,而当视线受限时,单一的视觉压力指标易高估驾驶负荷;基于眼动-心电建立的驾驶负荷综合评价模型灵敏度高、稳定性好,可校正单一指标的评价结果,有效量化驾驶负荷。

To explore the changing characteristics of driving load under the construction environment of underground tunnels,a test platform was built,and a driving simulation test was carried out in the construction environment of underground tunnels to obtain the driver's eye movement and ECG data. Taking the time domain index of heart rate,heart rate variability(HRV) and average number of blinks frequency(BF) as parameters,a comprehensive evaluation model of driving load based on factor analysis and entropy was constructed,and a classification method of driving load based on K-means clustering algorithm was proposed. The results show that in the relatively monotonous environment of non-construction sections in underground tunnels,psychological pressure could more accurately reflect the driving load compared to visual pressure. However,in the complex and changeable environment of construction section,psychological pressure is prone to being influenced by driving operations. Moreover,when line of sight is limited,a single visual pressure indicator tends to overestimate the driving load. The comprehensive evaluation model of driving load based on eye movement and ECG exhibits high sensitivity and good stability,and can correct the evaluation results of a single indicator and effectively quantify driving load.

地下洞室施工环境恶劣、施工干扰大[1]。一方面,相比视野开阔、光线良好的地面环境,驾驶员更易受到地下昏暗环境的影响,心理压力较大[2-3];另一方面,地下洞室施工过程中产生的噪声普遍大于100 dB,远高于一般高速公路环境噪声[4],更易引发交通事故[5-7]。在人-车-路系统中,驾驶员处于整个系统的核心,研究驾驶员的负荷状态,对降低大型地下洞室施工路段驾驶风险,保障大型地下洞室驾驶安全有重要意义。
生理参数测量法利用生理信号采集设备实时观测和记录驾驶员的生理参数,并通过分析指标变化来评价驾驶负荷特性。由于驾驶过程中驾驶员接收到的信息有80%为视觉信息[8],许多学者借助视觉需求研究驾驶负荷[9-11]。如QIN Pengcheng等[9]对比分析了熟练驾驶员与新手驾驶员分别在城市双车道、市郊道路及乡村道路上行驶时的注视顺序,探究了驾驶员熟练程度对视觉负荷的影响。除眼动指标外,一些学者也聚焦于心电(Electrocardiogram,ECG)[12-13]、肌电[14]、近红外[15-16]、脑电[17]等指标,对各典型场景下的驾驶员负荷状态展开了大量研究。其中,GERHARD等[12]以心率变异性(Heart Rate Variability,HRV)为参数,评价驾驶员操控车辆通过隧道路段时的驾驶负荷状态,发现应激反应不及时是造成事故的主要原因;胡宏宇等[14]利用肌电图技术,分析了车辆转弯行驶时驾驶员的肌肉疲劳度,以此评估驾驶负荷值;李建平等[16]利用近红外光谱技术,对比了不同驾驶负荷下驾驶员近红外信号的差异;郭孜政等[17]基于驾驶员脑电信号构建脑力负荷识别模型,为自动辅助驾驶及交通信息设计提供依据。然而,现有研究表明:任何单一的生理测量指标在评估驾驶负荷时均存在不足[18-19]。不同的生理测量指标或许能精准反映某一维度的负荷水平,但难以全面评估各种驾驶条件下的负荷状况。除上述研究外,部分学者综合运用多种生理参数测量手段来评估驾驶负荷。WANG Fan等[20]基于眼动、ECG等2种生理指标,针对高原地区驾驶员ECG指标易受海拔频繁变动影响的问题,提出了一种驾驶负荷评估方法,并证实了融合2指标进行驾驶负荷评估的可行性。
已有研究在单一行车环境和特定驾驶行为方面取得了进展,但地下洞室施工场景中多种施工因素对驾驶负荷的影响尚未得到充分研究。此外,许多生理数据采集设备在实际应用中使用条件受限,而ECG和眼动设备因其便携性,更易实现驾驶负荷的实时监测。鉴于此,笔者拟开展地下洞室施工环境下的驾驶模拟试验,采集驾驶员眼动、ECG等数据,构建驾驶负荷综合评价模型,探究地下洞室施工路段驾驶负荷变化特征,为降低地下洞室施工环境下的驾驶负荷、保障地下洞室驾驶安全提出合理化建议,提高地下洞室交通安全。
驾驶模拟平台包括生理数据采集设备及驾驶模拟器,如图1所示。生理数据采集设备选用可穿戴式眼动仪(采样频率50 Hz)和快速ECG检测仪,驾驶模拟器包括主机、32英寸曲面显示器、方向盘、加速踏板、刹车。试验时生理数据采集设备连接到相应平台,主机屏幕实时显示被试眼动与ECG信号,供研究者观察,32英寸曲面显示器呈现道路环境,供被试驾驶模拟。
选取雅砻江杨房沟水电工程某段地下洞室,运用Unity软件搭建地下洞室施工现场模型。根据实地考察,提取隧道照明、噪声及交通设施布设等显著影响驾驶员生理及心理状态的环境因素[413],设置指示牌、防撞桶、路口凸面镜及警示标志等静态标识,以及施工人员作业场景、施工噪声的强弱变化等动态场景。试验场景如图2所示,图2b中圆点为眼动仪标记的被试注视点。
提取会车、语音提示、弯道、下坡场景,形成5种设计方案,见表1
根据《公路隧道照明设计细则》(JTG/T D70/2-01—2014),试验开始前在地下洞室内设置2种符合规定的灯光条件(灯光昏暗、灯光明亮),如图3所示,每种灯光条件下测试被试20人。
共招募40名被试,其中男性38人,女性2人,95%的被试有隧道驾驶经验,被试年龄在32~48岁(38±6.8),驾龄均在5年以上(14.1±7.3)。所有被试均视力正常,无心脏病史,健康状况良好,持有效驾驶执照,无重大事故记录。
试验前,向被试说明试验流程及规则,并为被试佩戴眼动仪、ECG测试仪,根据被试舒适度及眼动仪摄像范围调整显示器高度、显示器距被试的距离(约40cm),采用定标法标定眼动仪,随后被试在非试验路段进行试驾以熟悉驾驶操作;试验时,被试在驾驶模拟器上连续行驶直至通过试验路段,驾驶过程中眼动仪和ECG测试仪实时采集并记录被试者心理生理数据,驾驶模拟器采集驾驶操作数据;驾驶完成后再次标定眼动仪以验证眼动数据准确性,随后采集被试主观调查问卷。为确保试验数据的准确性,减少可能产生的驾驶疲劳,被试实际驾驶时长(含试驾约3min)严格控制在10min内[21]
为确保试验数据的真实度及科学性,驾驶完成后被试需评价模拟场景的仿真度,满分10分,分数越高场景越真实。结果如图4所示,试验各场景仿真度均在8.8分以上,说明试验场景在洞室内整体轮廓及结构、静态标识、动态场景、被试的操作体验等方面均具有较高的仿真度。
为进一步明确施工环境对驾驶负荷的影响,将整个驾驶过程的数据按照行车场景划分为5个施工路段、5个非施工路段(表1)。
原始眼动数据的采样占比为84%~93%,根据前人[21]经验,数据完整性可充分满足试验要求。为剔除试验中因被试头部及身体晃动等主观因素造成的伪迹,减少试验误差,逐帧回放眼动仪记录的视频,标记数据,并预处理眼动数据。运用滑动中值滤波技术降噪,合并注视时间低于75ms、注视角变幅小于0.5°的相邻注视,剔除注视时间低于60ms的注视点;通过线性插值处理瞳孔参数,设定瞳孔直径下限为2mm[321]
在整理得到的数据中,平均眨眼次数(Blink Frequency,BF,次/s)可直观表征驾驶员所承受的视觉压力;平均扫视次数(Saccade Frequency,SF,次/s)能够反映驾驶员视觉信息的获取难度及获取数量,从而间接表征其视觉压力[10-11]。计算公式如下:
1) 平均眨眼次数(Blink Frequency,BF)。

HRV为逐次心跳周期之间时间上的微小变异特性,是反映驾驶员心理压力的有效指标[22]。为提取该指标,设置呼吸频率(Respiratory Rate,RR)间期允许范围500~1 200ms,得到以逐次心搏为横坐标,RR间期为纵坐标的HRV序列信号。
为表征驾驶员心理压力,选取3项关键指标:平均心率(Heart Rate,HR)、HRV指标中的全部窦性心搏RR间期标准差(Standard Deviation Normal to Normal heart beat,SDNN)、相邻RR间期差值的均方根(Root Mean Square of the Successive Differences,RMSSD)。其中心率变异性指标计算公式如下:

采用NASA-TLX量表评估主观驾驶负荷,通过对比量表评分与生理指标的结果,验证生理参数测量法的有效性。该量表包括脑力需求、时间需求、体力需求、努力程度、业绩水平及受挫程度6个维度。驾驶任务完成后,驾驶员依据自身感受对上述6个维度的重要性进行两两对比,并对每个路段的驾驶感受评分。根据每个维度被选中的次数确定该维度权重并计算量表最终得分,量表分数越高表示被试驾驶负荷越高。
基于单一指标的驾驶负荷评价方法具有较大的不稳定性和片面性[18]。为准确反映和量化驾驶员的负荷,融合驾驶员视觉压力、心理压力双指标,构建驾驶负荷综合评价模型。
驾驶员BF、SF的Kendall W检验结果显示,眼动指标间一致性强,具有统计学意义,故选取BF表征驾驶员视觉压力。BF与驾驶员视觉压力呈负相关关系[10],对其取倒数,得到视觉压力指标U

对比分析驾驶员SDNN与RMSSD及HR等3种指标,发现各指标所呈现的心理压力变化趋势虽大体一致,但仍存在一定差异,深入解释和量化驾驶员心理压力十分困难。
因子分析是处理高维数据的降维方法,旨在用少数综合指标反映原始变量的绝大部分信息。基于因子分析法对驾驶员3种ECG指标降维,过程如下:

分别计算方差贡献率和累积方差贡献率:

根据常用的特征根值大于1和累计方差贡献率大于80%的准则确定主成分。采用正交法旋转因子,利用旋转后的特征值 λ i *计算出各评价指标的权重如下:

熵值法是一种客观赋权法,在解决多指标权重分配问题上具有独特优势。需确定MU在评价驾驶负荷时所占权重的大小,正适合使用熵值法处理。具体步骤为:

为确定地下洞室灯光昏暗与明亮条件下驾驶员视觉压力的变化特征,绘制非施工路段与施工路段不同灯光条件下的眼动指标,如图5所示。
大型地下洞室非施工路段下,扫视行为呈现出SF1>SF2>SF3>SF4>SF5,眨眼行为呈现出BF1>BF5>BF2>BF4>BF3,且在灯光明亮时驾驶员的BF均大于灯光昏暗时的BF,SF均小于灯光昏暗时的SF;大型地下洞室施工路段下,扫视行为呈现出SF4>SF1>SF3>SF2>SF5,眨眼行为呈现出BF1>BF5>BF3>BF4>BF2,在灯光明亮时驾驶员的BF、SF均大于灯光昏暗时的BF、SF。
由非施工路段、施工路段各眼动指标变化情况得出:①在非施工路段,驾驶员SF随时间不断减小,说明长时间在地下洞室环境中,驾驶员对周围环境更加熟悉,减小了信息搜索的眼动行为;BF先减小后增大,说明驾驶员视觉压力先是逐渐累积,后随着驾驶员对环境的熟悉逐渐减小。②灯光明亮时驾驶员的BF均大于灯光昏暗时的BF,SF均小于灯光昏暗时SF,说明隧道内较明亮的灯光环境有利于驾驶员获取道路信息,降低了驾驶员的视觉压力。③在非施工-明亮、施工-昏暗的条件下,SF最低,即当周围环境最简单和最复杂时,驾驶员搜索信息的眼动行为最不活跃,结合施工-昏暗环境下BF最低可知:当驾驶员处于施工-昏暗的环境中,需要识别的信息过多或信息识别较为困难。
根据式(6)—式(11),得到驾驶员心理压力为 M - = 1 0.969   4 0.607   6 F 1 + 0.361   8 F 2 ),数据归一化处理后得到M
为分析地下洞室灯光昏暗与明亮条件下驾驶员心理压力的变化,绘制非施工路段与施工路段不同灯光条件下的M图6所示。在非施工路段,灯光明亮时心理压力呈现出M2>M3>M5>M4>M1,灯光昏暗时M5>M2>M1>M3>M4;在施工路段,2种灯光条件下心理压力均呈现出M3>M5>M2>M4>M1;施工-昏暗状态下的平均心理压力值最大,非施工-昏暗状态下的心理压力值最小。
由非施工路段、施工路段心理压力折线图变化情况可以得出:①在施工路段,灯光明亮时驾驶员的心理压力值均小于灯光昏暗时的心理压力值;但在非施工路段不同灯光条件下,驾驶员心理压力表现出无规律的变化。说明当周围环境较复杂时,灯光对于驾驶员心理压力缓解的作用更为显著。②在施工路段与非施工路段,不同灯光条件下的平均心理压力值均无明显差异,说明心理压力指标对灯光环境不敏感。
通过式(12)—式(16),得到驾驶负荷综合评价模型P=0.634 5M+0.365 5U
为验证驾驶负荷综合评价模型P值的有效性,对主客观驾驶负荷情况进行一致性检验。以主观驾驶负荷值即量表得分为横坐标,客观驾驶负荷值即P作为纵坐标,将各被试主客观驾驶负荷均值绘制在坐标系中,得到散点密度图,如图7所示。
皮尔逊相关分析显示,2种评价方法一致性程度高(相关性系数r=0.837>0.8,显著性水平值Sig.=0.000<0.05),即客观驾驶负荷值P能有效衡量驾驶负荷水平。
为探究驾驶员视觉及心理压力深层变化特征,厘清地下洞室内各施工场景要素(会车、语音提示、弯道、下坡)对驾驶员的影响,综合分析各路段心理压力值M、视觉压力值U、驾驶负荷值P,绘制各指标的变化情况如图8所示。在非施工路段,驾驶员的视觉压力于路段3到达顶峰,而心理压力及驾驶负荷值于路段2到达顶峰,随后下降并在路段5回升;在施工路段,驾驶员的心理压力呈现M3>M5>M2>M4>M1,视觉压力呈现U2>U4>U3>U5>U1,驾驶负荷呈现P2>P3>P4>P5>P1
由非施工路段、施工路段各评价指标折线图变化情况可以得出:①在施工环境中,相较于2、3路段,4、5的驾驶负荷更低,说明下坡及弯道路段虽对驾驶负荷产生影响,但其影响程度和方式相对固定和可预测,驾驶员可以通过调整车速、行驶方向等来适应道路线型的变化;相比之下,在复杂的道路环境中,驾驶员应对会车及施工区语音提示时,由于道路环境的不确定性,更易产生持续的紧张状态及心理压力,从而增加驾驶负荷。②驾驶员的心理压力值在非施工路段分布阈值为(0.35,0.5),在施工路段分布阈值为(0.4,0.8);视觉压力值在非施工路段分布阈值为(0.1,0.3),在施工路段分布阈值为(0.4,1)。说明心理压力值在整个驾驶过程中变化较为平稳,而视觉压力值更易发生突变。③在非施工路段,心理压力与驾驶负荷变化趋势更为接近,说明在相对简单的环境中,心理压力相比视觉压力更能反映驾驶负荷情况。④在施工路段,视觉压力、心理压力与驾驶负荷值均存在较大差异。视觉压力在路段2、4时最高,联系施工路段环境,可知驾驶员处于弯道或会车时视线差,视觉需求较高,容易造成视觉压力;心理压力值在路段3、5时最高,联系驾驶模拟器记录的驾驶操作数据,可知:路段3、5中被试操作次数更频繁,容易产生较大心理压力。
综合分析3.3.1、3.3.2节可知:在地下洞室施工路段,单一的视觉压力指标受视线干扰影响显著,但对驾驶操作无明显响应;反之,单一的心理压力指标易受驾驶操作影响,但对视线干扰无明显响应;驾驶负荷综合评价模型结合视觉压力指标及心理压力指标的特点,既保证稳定性又提高灵敏度。
为进一步辨识每位驾驶员的负荷状态,基于K-means聚类分析方法划分驾驶负荷等级。将路段均等划分为30个区间,绘制所有被试在每个区间的平均驾驶负荷散点图,对其进行K-means聚类分析。根据散点图初步设定分类数范围为2~4,并计算聚2类、3类、4类时轮廓系数S分别为0.61、0.49、0.53,可见聚2类时效果最好。因此,将驾驶负荷分为2级,即高负荷、低负荷,最终聚类结果如图9所示。根据K-means聚类分析算法计算出驾驶负荷分级阈值为0.52时,分类准确率为88.79%。分级阈值算法如下(“←”表示赋值)。

取驾驶员高负荷状态下的行车区间占比作为量化指标。例如:被试5处于低负荷状态时的行车区间占比90%,高负荷状态时的行车区间占比10%,则该被试为低负荷驾驶员。最终结果见表2
分类驾驶负荷状态有助于为高负荷驾驶员驾驶行为进行导向性干预,鉴别易导致驾驶员高负荷的路段,从而减少事故发生,促进交通安全。
1) 地下洞室非施工路段环境相对单调,心理压力相比视觉压力更能反映驾驶负荷;施工路段环境较复杂,单一指标难以全面、准确地反映驾驶负荷状态。其中,眼动指标受地下洞室内视线干扰显著,ECG指标易受驾驶操作影响。而基于眼动-ECG的驾驶负荷综合评价模型可校正单一指标的评价结果,有效量化驾驶负荷,既保证稳定性又提高灵敏度。
2) 以行车区间占比为量化指标,划分驾驶员负荷状态等级,有效区分了高负荷与低负荷驾驶员。基于分类结果,可在实际应用中,对不同类型的驾驶员进行差异化安全培训,提升驾驶员行车安全性,也可为驾驶辅助系统的个性化参数定制提供理论研究基础。
3) 提出融合眼动-ECG的驾驶负荷综合评价模型,由于篇幅限制,未能结合被试个体特征差异展开深入研究,特别是女性司机被试占比较低,可能无法准确反映女性司机的真实情况。未来计划基于该模型与驾驶试验数据,分析不同驾驶经验、性别、年龄等个体化差异被试的行为及生理反应特征,利用机器学习构建驾驶负荷预测模型,预测施工环境下驾驶负荷变化,为提前采取干预措施提供科学依据。
