The construction speed and number of vehicles passing through multi-portal underpass tunnels are increasing,and special driving environments such as long downhill slopes at the portals and underground merging areas cause frequent traffic accidents. To deeply analyze the variation characteristics of lateral offset in tunnel special sections,a test vehicle equipped with inertial navigation and Mobileye was used to perform a real-car natural driving test in a typical multi-entry underpass tunnel. Based on the tunnel's alignment and spatial variation characteristics,the test section was divided into the external tunnel section,the downhill section,the internal section,the underground merging section,and the internal tunnel section. The results indicated that the vehicle trajectories in the other four sections were more complex than the external section of the tunnel,and the lateral offset increased significantly,reaching up to 1.888 to 2.184 times the external section of the tunnel. The lane offset variation rate of the underground merging section and the inner section of the entrance was the smallest. The land discreteness of the underground merging section in the tunnel was the largest,and the discreteness of the entrance downhill section was the smallest with a standard deviation of only 0.111. The average width of the predicted interval of the entrance downhill and underground merging sections were 0.2 m and 0.24 m,respectively. Therefore,the driving safety hazards of the entrance downhill and underground merging sections were higher than other sections.

多入口下穿隧道建设速度和通车数量不断增长,入口长下坡、地下合流区等特殊行车环境导致交通事故多发。为深入剖析隧道特殊区段中车道偏移的变化特性,采用搭载惯性导航和Mobileye的试验车,在典型多入口下穿隧道开展实车自然驾驶试验。依据隧道线形和空间变化特点,将试验路段划分为隧道外部段、入口下坡段、洞口内部段、地下合流段和隧道内部段。结果表明:与隧道外部段相比,其他4个区段车辆轨迹更加复杂多变,车道偏移显著增大,高达隧道外部段的1.888~2.184倍;地下合流段、入口内部段车道偏移变化率最小,隧道中地下合流段的车道偏移离散性最大,入口下坡段的离散性最小,其标准差仅为0.111;入口下坡段和地下合流段预测区间平均宽度分别为0.2、0.24 m,因此入口下坡段和地下合流段的行车安全隐患相对其他区段更大。

多入口下穿隧道建设速度和通车数量不断增长,入口长下坡、地下合流区等特殊行车环境导致交通事故多发。为深入剖析隧道特殊区段中车道偏移的变化特性,采用搭载惯性导航和Mobileye的试验车,在典型多入口下穿隧道开展实车自然驾驶试验。依据隧道线形和空间变化特点,将试验路段划分为隧道外部段、入口下坡段、洞口内部段、地下合流段和隧道内部段。结果表明:与隧道外部段相比,其他4个区段车辆轨迹更加复杂多变,车道偏移显著增大,高达隧道外部段的1.888~2.184倍;地下合流段、入口内部段车道偏移变化率最小,隧道中地下合流段的车道偏移离散性最大,入口下坡段的离散性最小,其标准差仅为0.111;入口下坡段和地下合流段预测区间平均宽度分别为0.2、0.24 m,因此入口下坡段和地下合流段的行车安全隐患相对其他区段更大。

The construction speed and number of vehicles passing through multi-portal underpass tunnels are increasing,and special driving environments such as long downhill slopes at the portals and underground merging areas cause frequent traffic accidents. To deeply analyze the variation characteristics of lateral offset in tunnel special sections,a test vehicle equipped with inertial navigation and Mobileye was used to perform a real-car natural driving test in a typical multi-entry underpass tunnel. Based on the tunnel's alignment and spatial variation characteristics,the test section was divided into the external tunnel section,the downhill section,the internal section,the underground merging section,and the internal tunnel section. The results indicated that the vehicle trajectories in the other four sections were more complex than the external section of the tunnel,and the lateral offset increased significantly,reaching up to 1.888 to 2.184 times the external section of the tunnel. The lane offset variation rate of the underground merging section and the inner section of the entrance was the smallest. The land discreteness of the underground merging section in the tunnel was the largest,and the discreteness of the entrance downhill section was the smallest with a standard deviation of only 0.111. The average width of the predicted interval of the entrance downhill and underground merging sections were 0.2 m and 0.24 m,respectively. Therefore,the driving safety hazards of the entrance downhill and underground merging sections were higher than other sections.

近年来我国隧道的建设速度令人瞩目,每年净增超过1 000km,展现出惊人的发展态势。然而,由于其特殊的行车环境,多入口下穿隧道的入口区域往往成为事故频发的地点[1],往往伴随着严重的人员伤亡和大规模的交通堵塞。
与常规道路和普通隧道相比,多入口下穿隧道入口区域具有如下特点:①隧道入口外为连续长下坡;②同一运行方向存在多个入口;③隧道入口内外视觉环境剧烈变化;④隧道主路与次路入口在地下合流。车辆在合流段碰撞风险较高[2],而隧道的行车环境相对密闭、更为复杂[3],使驾驶员感到焦虑,增加了发生事故的风险[4-5]。因此,基于不同区段的行车环境研究入口至合流段的车道偏移,对于提升隧道的交通安全具有重要意义。
在隧道入口的运行环境与交通事故方面,焦方通等[6]认为,下穿隧道入口区域的黑洞效应对行车安全产生显著影响,特别是多入口下穿隧道的主路与次路在地下合流段,进一步加大了行车风险;WANG Xuesong等[7]发现在隧道等视线受限的环境中,危险驾驶行为是导致追尾碰撞的重要原因。隧道入口内外的环境剧烈变化,使得隧道入口前后车辆碰撞率约为中间段的4倍[8]。此外,PERVEZ等[9]研究表明:隧道入口处车辆因未保持安全距离导致追尾事故率显著高于其他区段。
在隧道入口驾驶人生理心理与驾驶行为的研究中,郭唐仪等[10]通过实车试验发现,驾驶人主要将视觉注意力聚焦于前方及近地面区域。因此,下穿隧道的入口长而陡的斜坡使得驾驶人的心理波动较常规隧道更为显著,增加了路段的风险[11-12]。面对隧道入口相对危险的行车环境,驾驶人会在入口前后调整其驾驶行为[13]。通常,驾驶人在进入隧道时会减速,随着逐渐适应隧道内部环境车速会有所提升,并在离开隧道后再次加速[14]
在隧道入口交通安全改善方面,MEHRI等[15]研究了隧道的光环境,并提出确保交通安全的隧道照明设置建议。为应对隧道入口的明暗适应及眩光问题,徐宇等[16]建立了隧道入口眩光程度的评价方法,以优化遮光棚设计并提升驾驶舒适度。此外,王首硕等[17]将隧道入口区域驾驶人兴趣区划分为5类,分析驾驶人在各区域的眼动参数描述驾驶人视区的变化特征,评价视线诱导系统改善后的效果。
综上所述,目前缺乏对多入口下穿隧道入口至地下合流区车道偏移特性的相关研究。鉴于此,笔者拟在实际隧道开展自然驾驶试验,探究连续时间序列下的车道偏移变化特性,构建行驶距离与车道偏移的关系模型,分析不同区段驾驶人的车道偏移特性。以期为多入口下穿隧道的交通管控与安全改善提供支持。
选取一处典型的多入口下穿隧道开展实车试验。该隧道为城市主干路,主路限速60km/h。隧道外为常规的城市道路,隧道洞口前为连续长下坡,接近隧道洞口两侧的侧墙逐步增高。主路入口为2车道,右侧次路入口为1个车道,在地下合流区为3车道设计,合流后的隧道内部段又恢复为2车道。
结合线形、空间等隧道环境特点,以隧道外变坡点、隧道洞门、主路与次路交汇点、合流段终点为划分依据,将多入口下穿隧道入口前后划分为5个区段。区段1为隧道外部段,区段2为入口下坡段,区段3为洞口内部段,区段4为地下合流段,区段5为隧道内部段。入口至地下合流区的5个区段如图1所示。
实车试验的车辆为自动挡小汽车,搭载惯性导航、Mobileye等设备,用以采集驾驶人行车过程中的实时车速、轨迹数据。搭载的行车记录仪实时记录车辆前方的路况信息,在数据处理时用以回看当时的交通运行情况。
参考中国驾驶人中女性男性的比例为3∶7,共招募21名被试驾驶人,女性驾驶人6名、男性驾驶人15名。所有驾驶人均为25~44岁的中青年人,因此,并未考虑年龄对驾驶行为的影响,所有人的身体健康并且视力(或佩戴眼镜后)正常。考虑到有无多入口下穿隧道的行车经验可能会对试验结果造成干扰,在招募被试时要求所有人都有过多入口下穿隧道的行车经历。
车辆中心线至左侧和右侧车道标线中心的距离分别为DlDr,将车道偏移定义为Dx,即图2中所示,计算方法如下式:

驶入隧道过程中车道偏移变化如图3所示。其中,有2处虚线椭圆标注的突变数据。经回看实车试验视频,为车辆在隧道外部路段变道所导致。考虑到此类情况发生在隧道外部,研究中仅在隧道外部段将该变道数据进行剔除,其他区段数据进行保留。
为揭示各个区段车道偏移的变化特性,采用箱型图描绘从区段1—段5的车道偏移分布情况,如图4所示。
在隧道外部段,车道偏移分布范围较大,驾驶人在隧道外部相对宽广的环境中有相对较高的自由度。在入口前的长下坡路段,85 th车道偏移与15 th车道偏移的差值最小,仅为0.18 m。然而,值得注意的是,该区段内的异常值较多且大多集中在隧道洞口前。
进入洞口后,车道偏移的异常值达到整个行车过程中的最大数量,表明驾驶人在隧道入口处受到隧道特殊环境的影响,导致车道保持行为不稳定。在地下合流段驾驶人受到次路驶入车辆的干扰,行车条件复杂,致使85 th与15 th差值上升到0.31 m。在隧道内部段,由于合流影响的消除,驾驶人员对车道保持行为的警惕性有所降低,与车道中心线平均距离偏移0.30 m,达到整个行车过程的峰值。
实车试验数据中车道偏移最大为0.77 m、最小为-0.87 m。为更加深入地进行分析,以0.22 m为步长将[-0.87,0.77]等分为7个区段。车道偏移区间在各个区段分布占比见表1
深入剖析表1中的数据发现,各区段车道偏移主要分布在[-0.43,0.11) 区间上,隧道外部段在此区间占比73.89%,其他4个区段的占比均超过80%。在隧道外部段车道偏移分布范围广泛,车道偏移的最大值0.77 m和最小值-0.87 m均出现在此路段中。而与外部段相比,其他4个区段驾驶人更加谨慎、车道偏移相对收缩,车道偏移主要集中在-0.65~0.11 m的范围内,而且在[0.33,0.77) 区间上均为0。
为更加细致挖掘每一个区段的车道偏移特性,分析各区段车道偏移变化情况,21条实车试验数据在各个区段中的连续分布情况如图5所示,图中实线、虚线、双点划线曲线分别为均值、85 th、15 th的车道偏移变化曲线。区段1—区段5的车道偏移标准差分别为0.254、0.111、0.127、0.177、0.167,即各区段的车道偏移离散性的大小关系为:区段1> 区段4> 区段5> 区段3> 区段2。
车道偏移在隧道外部段的分布范围较大,而在入口下坡段和洞口内部段的分布更为集中,更值得注意的是,在隧道洞口附近,驾驶人的车道保持集中度最高,车道偏移平均标准差仅为0.094。而在洞口内部段后期,车道偏移稳定收敛,85 th与15 th差值仅在0.06 m范围内波动。
在地下合流段,车道偏移的标准偏差达到驶入隧道后的最大值,其中,在地下合流段前期和后期,车道偏移表现出2种状态,在前期车道偏移相对谨慎,平均标准差为0.155,85 th与15 th平均差值为0.21 m,而在后期车道偏移更加离散,车道偏移平均标准差增长到0.199,85 th与15 th的差值比前期增长0.11 m。在合流后的隧道内部段驾驶人对于车道控制不再谨慎,车道偏移量呈现出较大的离散性,标准差为0.167。
因各个区段的长度不尽一致,以10m内的行车数据作为一个行驶单元,分别构建不同区段车道偏移K与行驶距离x之间的关系模型。
区段1—区段5的回归模型分别如下:

式中:x1取值范围为[0,20);x2取值范围为[20,40);x3取值范围为[40,52);x4取值范围为[52,67);x5取值范围为[6787]。
区段1—区段5的可决系数R2分别为0.943、0.931、0.977、0.930、0.924。基于高斯分布特性拟合车道偏移数据,进一步通过加减一个标准差的方式界定车道偏移的预测区间。各区段车道偏移预测区间如图6所示。
隧道外部段车道偏移的预测区间最宽泛,区间平均宽度为0.46 m。在下坡过程中偏移区间开始逐渐收缩,在临近洞口的第19—第20行驶单元的偏移区间为整个行驶过程中最小,为0.15 m。进入洞口后,车辆的车道保持能力更为稳定,偏移区间平均宽度仅为0.25 m。
进入地下合流段,第1、2行驶单元偏移区间波动范围较大。但随后在第3—第8行驶单元,预测区间开始逐渐减小,驾驶人在应对次路合流车辆时,展现出谨慎态度。然而,从第9行驶单元开始,预测区间宽度再次扩大到0.38 m。
完成合流后的隧道内部段,变化趋势与合流段呈现出一定的相似性。在第1—第4行驶单元,偏移区间宽度较大。但在第5—第13行驶单元,预测区间逐渐趋于稳定。从第14行驶单元开始,预测区间宽度再次增大。
引入车道偏移变化率用于描述各区段的车道偏移变化情况,车道偏移变化率为某区段的末端和起始端的车道偏移之差与起始端的车道偏移之比,如下式:

式中:Qi为第i区段的车道偏移变化率;Kei为第i区段的末端车道偏移,m;Ksi为第i区段的起始端车道偏移,m。
以隧道外部段的平均值为基数,其他4个区段取隧道外部段的车道偏移的比值。对比分析5个区段车道偏移的变化率和相对倍数,进一步探究从主路驶入隧道过程中的交通安全性。车道偏移的变化率和相对倍数如图7所示。
图7可知:隧道外部段变坡点前,区段内的车道偏移变化最大,变化率达到46.98%,但平均车道偏移最小,其他区段的车道偏移是其1.888~2.184倍。在入口下坡段,驾驶人针对隧道外部段车辆的过渡偏移做出适应性调整,车辆向车道中心靠拢,变化幅度为34.05%。驶入隧道后,受隧道侧墙影响,驾驶人增加与左侧侧墙的安全距离,车道偏移变化率为23.98%。由于车道偏移呈现先增长后减小的变化过程,地下合流段车道偏移的变化幅度在5个区段中最小,仅为22.27%。完成合流后,驾驶人逐渐适应隧道内的驾驶环境,对车道保持的谨慎程度有所降低,车道偏移变化幅度上升至26.36 %。
从主路驶入地下合流段时,驾驶人采取偏离合流车道来提防次路来车。因车辆自身速度的变动以及与其他车辆存在速度差,加之隧道内特殊的空间环境[17],进一步增加了事故风险。在驶离合流段后,驾驶人心理逐渐适应隧道入口的黑洞效应以及隧道空间环境,并完成合流操作,因此,在区段5中车道偏移略有提升并保持相对稳定。
为进一步分析隧道行车安全,结合行驶距离、车道偏移之间的分布情况,引入标准化相对偏离分数以解析入口至地下合流区与隧道外部驾驶行为之间的差异性,如下式:

式中:Zis为第i区段第s个驾驶人的标准化相对偏离分数,i∈{区段1,区段2,…,区段5},s∈{1,2,…,21};xis为第i区段中第s个驾驶人的数据;σi为第i个区段的数据标准差,文中以隧道外部段的标准差作为参考尺度;系数137由Z-Score进行优化并多步化简所得,系数21为驾驶人数量。
计算得到不同区段车道偏移的标准化相对偏离分数,并根据其数值范围 [0,σ]、(σ,2σ]、(2σ,3σ]、(3σ,4σ]4个区间进行分析,其结果见表2
各个区段的标准化相对偏离分数主要集中在[0,3σ]区间内。入口下坡段标准化相对偏离分数集中在(σ,3σ],其中,这一区段内与隧道外部的差异性明显,仅其标准化相对偏离分数范围扩展到(3σ,4σ]区间。地下合流段在(σ,3σ]占比达到80%,而隧道内部段在(σ,3σ]占比达到96.18 %。
对于驾驶人的车道保持行为,隧道外部段差异性最为明显,受隧道特殊环境影响最大的区段是入口下坡段,其次是隧道内部段,再次是地下合流段、洞口内部段。入口长下坡、地下合流区以及隧道内视距视区受限都会加剧驾驶人的驾驶负担,驾驶人需要更高的注意力来掌控车辆。因此,隧道入口下坡以及合流区的合理设计和安全优化尤为重要。
1) 整个行车过程的车道偏移呈现出离散、收敛、再离散的演变过程,隧道路段在[-0.43,0.11)区间上分布占比超过80%。洞口附近,由于长下坡和黑洞效应的叠加,车道偏移波动较大。
2) 各区段车道偏移预测区间宽度的大小关系为:区段1> 区段4> 区段5> 区段3> 区段2。但在地下合流段前期和后期,车道偏移呈现前期相对收敛而后期更加离散的2种状态。
3) 隧道外部段的预测区间最宽泛,平均宽度达0.46 m;下坡段区间逐渐收缩,至洞口附近达到最小,入洞后保持相对稳定。进入地下合流段预测区间初期波动大,随后减小,但在结束时再次扩大。
4) 在隧道外部段,车道偏移变化率最显著,高达46.98%,而其平均车道偏移量最小。相比之下,其他区段的车道偏移量则高达该区段的1.888~2.184倍。
5) 入口下坡段、地下合流段的行车风险较大,受上述区段特殊环境的影响,车道偏移波动性变化无疑会加剧行车风险,这2个区段的车道保持安全性应着重受到关注。鉴于多入口下穿隧道通车数量的快速增加且交通事故多发,这项工作可为多入口下穿隧道的管控、交通安全改善提供依据。限于试验开展难度、时间与研究经费等多因素影响,选取多入口下穿隧道开展车道偏移研究,进一步探究多入口下穿隧道环境中驾驶人生理、心理、驾驶行为与交通安全的关系,将是下一阶段的研究重点。
