In order to grasp the influence of wear clearance of spherical pair on dynamic response characteristics of spatial parallel mechanism,a dynamic modeling and response analysis method for spatial parallel mechanism considering the wear of spherical joints is proposed. The 3SPS-S spatial parallel mechanism is taken as the research object. The wear model of the spherical joint clearance is established based on the Archard wear model,the worn ball head and ball socket are obtained by calculating the wear depth and surface geometric reconstruction,and the dynamic model of the parallel mechanism considering spherical joint wear is established. The numerical results are obtained by solving the above dynamic model. The change of dynamic response of mechanism before and after wear is compared and analyzed,and the influence of initial clearance value and load on dynamic response of mechanism after wear is obtained. The results show that the worn irregular clearance has adverse effects on the dynamic characteristics of the parallel mechanism,and the increase of clearance value and the introduction of load can reduce the stability of the parallel mechanism.

为了掌握球面副磨损间隙对空间并联机构动力学响应特性的影响,提出考虑多球面副磨损间隙的空间并联机构动力学建模与响应特性的分析方法。以3SPS-S空间并联机构为研究对象,基于Archard磨损模型建立球面副间隙处的磨损模型,通过计算磨损深度,并对磨损表面进行重构,得到磨损后的球头与球窝,建立考虑球面副磨损间隙的空间并联机构动力学模型,求解得到数值结果,对比分析磨损前/后机构动力学响应的变化,并分析初始间隙值、有/无负载对磨损后机构动力学响应的影响。结果表明,磨损后的非规则间隙对并联机构动态特性带来不利的影响,且增大间隙值和引入负载降低了并联机构运行的稳定性。

为了掌握球面副磨损间隙对空间并联机构动力学响应特性的影响,提出考虑多球面副磨损间隙的空间并联机构动力学建模与响应特性的分析方法。以3SPS-S空间并联机构为研究对象,基于Archard磨损模型建立球面副间隙处的磨损模型,通过计算磨损深度,并对磨损表面进行重构,得到磨损后的球头与球窝,建立考虑球面副磨损间隙的空间并联机构动力学模型,求解得到数值结果,对比分析磨损前/后机构动力学响应的变化,并分析初始间隙值、有/无负载对磨损后机构动力学响应的影响。结果表明,磨损后的非规则间隙对并联机构动态特性带来不利的影响,且增大间隙值和引入负载降低了并联机构运行的稳定性。

In order to grasp the influence of wear clearance of spherical pair on dynamic response characteristics of spatial parallel mechanism,a dynamic modeling and response analysis method for spatial parallel mechanism considering the wear of spherical joints is proposed. The 3SPS-S spatial parallel mechanism is taken as the research object. The wear model of the spherical joint clearance is established based on the Archard wear model,the worn ball head and ball socket are obtained by calculating the wear depth and surface geometric reconstruction,and the dynamic model of the parallel mechanism considering spherical joint wear is established. The numerical results are obtained by solving the above dynamic model. The change of dynamic response of mechanism before and after wear is compared and analyzed,and the influence of initial clearance value and load on dynamic response of mechanism after wear is obtained. The results show that the worn irregular clearance has adverse effects on the dynamic characteristics of the parallel mechanism,and the increase of clearance value and the introduction of load can reduce the stability of the parallel mechanism.

球面副是空间并联机构中普遍存在的运动副之一,空间并联机构在长期使用的过程中,球面副元素之间会不可避免地存在碰撞和摩擦,产生磨损现象,从而形成球面副非规则磨损间隙,这将严重影响并联机构的动力学特性,降低机构的运动精度和稳定性[1-3]。因此,建立考虑球面副磨损间隙的并联机构动力学模型,分析球面副磨损对机构动力学响应的影响具有重要的意义。
目前考虑运动副磨损的机构动力学的研究大都针对含转动副的平面机构,很少涉及含球面副的空间并联机构。ZHUANG等[4]研究了关节磨损与机构运动输出之间的关系,介绍了一种基于贝叶斯后验信息的磨损推断方法。于如飞等[5]以曲柄滑块机构为例,建立了一种考虑转动副磨损间隙的动力学求解方法。喻天翔等[6]建立了一种含间隙铰链机构的运动学模型,分析了飞机舱门锁机构中铰链的磨损特性。王庚祥等[7]分析了考虑关节磨损多体系统动力学模型的一般建模方法。ZHU等[8]提出了一种考虑接触刚度影响的磨损间隙运动副分析方法。韩雪艳等[9]采用牛顿-欧拉法建立考虑磨损间隙机构的动力学模型,分析了磨损前/后机构的动力学性能。LAI等[10]建立了一种考虑转动副磨损间隙的多体系统动力学建模方法。LI等[11]分析了磨损深度及间隙尺寸对曲柄滑块机构动力学性能的影响。SU等[12]提出了一种结合系统运动学的磨损预测数值方法,研究了多体系统中具有间隙的关节磨损与运动学之间的相互作用。曹毅等[13]以3-CPaR&R1R2混联机构为研究对象,分析了不同参数对关节磨损特性的影响。WANG等[14]分析了球面副磨损对空间四杆机构多体系统动力学的影响。侯雨雷等[15]以3RSR并联机构为研究对象,分析了单球面副磨损对机构动力学性能的影响。
由于Archard模型可综合考虑材料硬度、滑动距离、碰撞载荷等参数,计算结果可靠,本文将基于Archard模型建立球面副磨损间隙预测模型。
Archard模型的基本表达式为:
式中,V表示磨损体积;S表示材料相对滑动距离;Ke表示无量纲磨损系数;Fn表示法向接触力;H表示两构件中较软材料的硬度。
工程实际中,为了更加直观地描述磨损量,将式(1)两边同时除以接触面积Am,得到表达式如下:
式中,h为磨损深度;p为法向接触应力;kd为线性磨损系数,kd = Ke/H
在机构运行过程中,含间隙球面副的球头与球窝之间始终处于“分离-碰撞-接触”的动态变化过程,滑动距离和法向接触应力是随时间变化的,因此,为了后续的仿真计算,将Archard磨损公式写成以下微分形式:
式中,dt表示时间的变化量;dh表示dt时间内对应的磨损深度增量;vt表示两构件的相对切向速度。
根据Archard磨损模型,要计算磨损深度首先要计算出接触面积。图1为球面副接触示意图,图中Pg和Ph分别表示球窝与球头的几何中心;Hw表示最大变形量位置;E、F为磨损接触的边界点。
图2为球面副接触几何关系示意图。图2中,hw表示接触高度;a表示接触半径;θ为接触夹角;δ为碰撞深度。由图2可以看出接触区域在法向方向被分成X等份(X趋向于正无穷),使得每一份都能够近似看成一个极小的圆柱体,圆柱体的侧面积之和可以近似看作接触面积,规定每一个圆柱体的半径为Δx,高度为Δy
图2(a)中,通过余弦定理可推导出接触角的计算公式为:
式中,RgRh分别为球窝和球头的半径;e为球头中心相对于球窝中心的偏心距。
接触半径a的计算公式为:

为了准确地得到运行过程中不同位置的磨损深度,需要对连续接触状态进行离散化处理,得到改进的磨损深度表达式为:
式中,hi表示第i个时间步长内所对应的磨损深度;pi表示第i个时间步长内所对应的接触应力;vt表示第i个时间步长内所对应的相对切向速度;Δti表示时间步长。
接触应力的矢量表达式为:
式中,FN表示法向接触力;Ann表示接触点的法向单位矢量。
在三维空间中,需要将磨损深度在xyz三个方向分解,分别计算出三个方向上的磨损深度hxihyihzi如下:

球头相对于球窝的切向速度为:

为了更加真实地模拟机构在实际运行过程中球面副的磨损情况,将球头和球窝的材料均选择为钢制,因此两者磨损深度一致,从而得到磨损后球窝的半径分量为:
磨损后球头的半径分量为:
式中,RgxRgyRgz分别表示相应方向上未磨损球窝半径分量;RhxRhyRhz分别表示相应方向上未磨损球头半径分量。
通过以上理论计算出接触面积和磨损深度,由图3所示的计算流程对磨损表面进行重构。
图3为球面副磨损求解流程图。求解过程为:
(1)根据球头与球窝的接触几何关系计算出接触面积。
(2)基于含球面副干摩擦间隙的空间并联机构动力学模型,求解出接触点的相对速度及法向接触力,进而求得接触应力分布。
(3)将接触应力与步骤(1)得到的接触面积代入Archard模型,计算得出磨损深度,进而对磨损后的表面进行重构。
在球面副的不同区域,其磨损程度是不同的,为了准确得到每一块区域的磨损深度,将球头和球窝划分成若干个面积微小的网格节点。原则上划分数量越多,则计算精度越高,计算过程也就更复杂。在综合考虑计算精度和计算速度的情况下,决定将其划分为360个网格节点,将每个节点坐标表示为Pixyz),节点半径表示为Ri。在每一次积分步长上,判断球头与球窝是否发生碰撞,若发生了碰撞,将该碰撞位置和磨损深度计算并保存,直到完成一个仿真周期,将每个网格节点的磨损深度累加,得到每个区域新的节点半径,从而得到整个球头与球窝的磨损深度。
由于机构在一个运行周期内带来的磨损深度是极小的,为了计算机构在运行多个周期后产生的磨损深度,记第i个周期产生的磨损深度为Δhi,运行n个周期后总的磨损深度为:
磨损后的球面副会出现非规则间隙,对于球头和球窝表面,离散后的不同网格节点会存在尺寸不同的半径,从而造成不同区域的刚度系数差异,在对机构进行动力学求解时,首先要判断碰撞发生的区域位置,其次要计算出该区域的刚度系数,最后将刚度系数代入动力学方程进行求解。用(ij)表示网格节点的位置坐标,则动态变刚度系数KF (ij )的计算公式为:
式中,Rg (ij )和Rh (ij )分别表示球窝和球头每个网格节点的半径,δgδh由式(13)计算得到。
磨损后的碰撞深度计算公式为:
式中,c″表示磨损后的间隙值。
3SPS-S空间并联机构模型及其机构简图分别如图45所示。该机构由动平台、定平台、连接动平台和定平台的3个SPS驱动支链以及1个中间的球面副上/下端分别固连到动平台和定平台,三条支链分别呈120°分布,其中每个驱动支链中包含一个摆动杆和一个伸缩杆。由于考虑所有的球面副间隙,计算量非常大,计算速度很慢,因此为了节约计算成本,本文仅考虑S4和S5两个球面副,如图5所示。
3SPS-S空间并联机构有7个活动构件,每个活动构件有6个广义坐标(包括位置和姿态),由于球面副S4和S5为考虑磨损间隙的球面副,运动副两元素的中心不再重合,位置约束应该去掉,在后文中通过力约束加以限制。为了准确表示出每个构件在空间中的位姿,建立7个活动构件的广义坐标如下:
在机构中,与构件1、2、3、6固连的运动副为不考虑磨损间隙的运动副,因此这四个构件在空间中只受重力,前文中已经规定重力方向为x轴正方向,因此其广义力矢量为:

对于含间隙球面副S4而言,碰撞产生的接触力作用到构件4(伸缩杆)与构件7(动平台)上,其中,构件4为施力物体,构件7为受力物体,两者力的大小相同,方向相反,从而得到广义力矢量为:

微分代数形式的动力学方程如下:
考虑球面副磨损间隙的机构动力学求解流程如图6所示。图中,Δt表示一个积分步长,tend表示结束时间,Ft表示切向接触力。3SPS-S空间并联机构的各构件参数如表1所示,用MATLAB软件进行动力学求解时,参数设定如表2所示,求解磨损后的非规则间隙空间并联机构动力学模型,观察动力学响应输出图像相比于输入图像的偏离程度,分析其动力学响应特性。
为了精确计算球面副每一个区域的磨损量,将球面副表面离散,将球面副沿经线和纬线方向划分为360个区域,在每个积分步长上,将每个区域对应的磨损深度进行累加,最终得到总的磨损深度,为了更加明显地观察出磨损程度,以半径为3.0×10−6 m的球体作为参考。图7为4号与5号球面副磨损后的表面几何形貌,分析图像可知,球面副发生的磨损为非规则磨损。
图8为动平台绕βγ方向转动的角位移、角速度和角加速度对比曲线。由图8可知,磨损前、磨损后与理想情况曲线基本重合,说明磨损对动平台角位移和角速度的影响非常小。由磨损前/后动平台在βγ方向转动的角加速度响应图8(c)和(f)可知,磨损前曲线与理想情况曲线基本吻合,而磨损后曲线的整体轨迹虽与理想情况保持一致,但会出现明显的高频振动,重点出现在波峰位置,并且动平台γ方向上波动的频率更高。由以上分析可得,磨损对动平台角加速度的影响最大,并且对γ方向的影响大于对β方向的影响。
依据表1中参数及图6的求解流程,为了分析磨损后间隙对机构动力学响应的影响,对磨损后的4号和5号球面副进行动力学数值求解,给定磨损前初始间隙值为0.3 mm,将理想情况曲线、磨损前曲线、磨损后曲线放入同一图像中进行对比。
图9为磨损前/后球头与球窝之间的碰撞力对比曲线。在稳定运行阶段,磨损后的碰撞力曲线与磨损前的碰撞力曲线总体趋势保持一致,但一直处于高频波动状态,反映出磨损后的非规则间隙会使得球头与球窝之间的接触状态极不稳定,从而引起机械系统的振动,影响机构的使用寿命。
在工程实际中,并联机构的动平台往往需要承受一定的负载,为了模拟负载作用下磨损后的并联机构的动力学响应,设置球面副间隙值为0.3 mm,给动平台施加50 kg负载,并与无负载和理想情况曲线进行对比。
图10为动平台承受50 kg负载、无负载以及理想情况时动平台角位移、角速度和角加速度对比曲线。由图10可知,在承受负载时,动平台在βγ方向的角加速度曲线相比于无负载时曲线波动范围明显变宽,振动的峰值增加。图11为有负载和无负载时球面副处的碰撞力对比曲线。由图11可知,由于动平台存在负载,加剧了机构在运动过程中球窝对球头的冲击,导致碰撞力曲线波动更加剧烈。
球面副磨损前的初始间隙值大小会对磨损后的机构动力学响应产生重要影响,为了定量分析该影响,将4号和5号球面副初始间隙先后设置为0.2和0.1 mm,理想情况为不设置间隙,利用MATLAB软件将稳定后的动平台响应图像输出分析。
图12可知,0.1和0.2 mm间隙的位移、速度曲线与理想曲线吻合,而角加速度曲线都在保持原有趋势的基础上出现波动,且初始间隙值0.2 mm曲线相比于初始间隙值0.1 mm曲线振动幅度更宽,出现的峰值数值更大。同时由图13所示的间隙碰撞力对比曲线可知,初始间隙值增大,球面副磨损后关节处的碰撞力曲线波动增大。综上可得,增大机构球面副处的初始间隙值,机构长时间运行磨损导致机构产生更强的波动,不利于磨损后机构的运行状况。
本文提出了考虑球面副磨损间隙的空间并联机构动力学建模与响应特性的分析方法,建立了含球面副磨损间隙3SPS-S空间并联机构的动力学模型,分别分析了磨损前/后、有/无负载及不同间隙值的情况下机构的动力学响应特性。结果表明,磨损后的非规则间隙会对机构的动力学性能带来不利的影响,且增大间隙值和引入负载会使机构运行稳定性降低。
