The flexibility of gear teeth under cyclic varying loads can induce meshing impact and nonlinear vibration of gear pairs. Revealing the multi-state meshing characteristics and nonlinear dynamic characteristics of spur gear systems considering teeth flexibility lays the foundation for the safe and reliable operation of transmission systems. Based on the cantilever beam theory and gear meshing principles, the flexible deformation of meshing teeth is calculated, and the calculation method for flexible time-varying meshing parameters of gear pairs is derived; based on the contact states and loading conditions of the gear pairs, extract the characteristics of multi-state flexible meshing, and a nonlinear dynamic model of the spur gear system with multi-status flexible meshing is established; study the evolution laws of flexible time-varying meshing parameters and the distribution characteristics of flexible deformation of gear teeth under multi-parameters correlation, and uncover the global bifurcation and chaos characteristics of the system when the teeth flank clearance changes. The results indicate that the flexibility of the gear teeth reduces the double teeth meshing area, affects the meshing parameters and multi-status meshing characteristics of the gear system, and induces out-of-line meshing of the gear pair; the variation of teeth flank clearance causes the coexistence of periodic motions and chaotic motions, and incomplete bifurcation under multiple initial conditions is the fundamental cause for such dynamic behavior coexistence.

周期性交变动载作用下轮齿柔性会诱发齿轮副啮合冲击和非线性振动,揭示考虑轮齿柔性的直齿轮系统多状态啮合特性和非线性动态特性为传动系统的安全可靠运行奠定基础。根据悬臂梁理论和齿轮啮合原理,计算啮合轮齿柔性变形量,推导齿轮副柔性时变啮合参数的计算方法;根据齿轮副的接触状态及受力环境,提取多状态柔性啮合的特征,进而建立多状态柔性啮合的直齿轮系统非线性动力学模型;研究柔性时变啮合参数的演化规律和轮齿柔性变形量在多参数关联下的分布特性,揭示了齿侧间隙变化时系统的全局分岔与混沌特性。结果表明,轮齿柔性减小了双齿啮合区域,影响齿轮系统的啮合参数和多状态啮合的特征,并诱发齿轮副线外啮合;齿侧间隙变化引起周期运动和混沌运动共存现象,多初值下不完全分岔是引起动态行为共存的根本原因。

周期性交变动载作用下轮齿柔性会诱发齿轮副啮合冲击和非线性振动,揭示考虑轮齿柔性的直齿轮系统多状态啮合特性和非线性动态特性为传动系统的安全可靠运行奠定基础。根据悬臂梁理论和齿轮啮合原理,计算啮合轮齿柔性变形量,推导齿轮副柔性时变啮合参数的计算方法;根据齿轮副的接触状态及受力环境,提取多状态柔性啮合的特征,进而建立多状态柔性啮合的直齿轮系统非线性动力学模型;研究柔性时变啮合参数的演化规律和轮齿柔性变形量在多参数关联下的分布特性,揭示了齿侧间隙变化时系统的全局分岔与混沌特性。结果表明,轮齿柔性减小了双齿啮合区域,影响齿轮系统的啮合参数和多状态啮合的特征,并诱发齿轮副线外啮合;齿侧间隙变化引起周期运动和混沌运动共存现象,多初值下不完全分岔是引起动态行为共存的根本原因。

The flexibility of gear teeth under cyclic varying loads can induce meshing impact and nonlinear vibration of gear pairs. Revealing the multi-state meshing characteristics and nonlinear dynamic characteristics of spur gear systems considering teeth flexibility lays the foundation for the safe and reliable operation of transmission systems. Based on the cantilever beam theory and gear meshing principles, the flexible deformation of meshing teeth is calculated, and the calculation method for flexible time-varying meshing parameters of gear pairs is derived; based on the contact states and loading conditions of the gear pairs, extract the characteristics of multi-state flexible meshing, and a nonlinear dynamic model of the spur gear system with multi-status flexible meshing is established; study the evolution laws of flexible time-varying meshing parameters and the distribution characteristics of flexible deformation of gear teeth under multi-parameters correlation, and uncover the global bifurcation and chaos characteristics of the system when the teeth flank clearance changes. The results indicate that the flexibility of the gear teeth reduces the double teeth meshing area, affects the meshing parameters and multi-status meshing characteristics of the gear system, and induces out-of-line meshing of the gear pair; the variation of teeth flank clearance causes the coexistence of periodic motions and chaotic motions, and incomplete bifurcation under multiple initial conditions is the fundamental cause for such dynamic behavior coexistence.

齿轮作为重要的机械传动元件,能够高效地传递动力和运动,被广泛应用于各种机械装备[12]。在齿轮啮合过程中,轮齿柔性是必然存在的,而这种柔性所引发的变形会致使啮合过程偏离理论位置。研究考虑轮齿柔性的外啮合直齿轮系统多状态啮合非线性动力学行为,对提高齿轮系统传动性能和稳定运行具有重要意义。
近年来,国内外学者考虑轮齿柔性,研究扩展齿接触效应和结构耦合效应等对齿轮系统传动性能的影响。如LIU等[34]提出考虑轮齿柔性的等效基圆半径,研究了齿距偏差对直齿圆柱齿轮系统分岔与混沌特性的影响。莫帅等[56]研究了齿圈柔性和时变啮合刚度等因素对非线性动力学模型的影响。XIE等[7]建立了考虑齿体耦合柔度和齿形误差的时变啮合刚度模型。陈渊钊等[8]将机械臂等效为悬臂梁模型,采用浮动坐标系法建立柔性大变形梁的动力学模型。XU等[9]计算了考虑扩展齿接触的内啮合齿轮副的时变啮合刚度,并对基体刚度进行了修正。ZHENG等[10]建立一种将扩展齿面接触和齿轮非线性动力学相结合的模型,扩展了目前流行的圆角基础刚度的应用范围。LI等[11]揭示扩展齿接触和齿轮邻齿间的耦合效应对齿轮系统分岔特性的影响。姚廷强等[12]建立了考虑轴承外圈结构弹性变形的多体接触动力学模型。CHEN等[13]提出了一种考虑单个轮齿柔性变形、齿体变形、轮齿局部接触变形和相邻轮齿受载变形的直齿圆柱齿轮系统改进的动力学模型。以上模型考虑的因素越来越全面,但关于轮齿柔性变形对时变啮合参数(如啮合点半径、啮合点压力角、曲率半径、时变啮合刚度和载荷分配系数等)影响的研究少有文献报道,啮合参数计算模型的精确程度,直接决定着齿轮系统动力学分析与评价模型准确与否。
基于以上分析,本文构建了考虑轮齿柔性变形的齿轮副时变啮合参数计算模型,并提取了多状态柔性啮合的特征,最终建立了考虑多状态柔性啮合的齿轮系统非线性动力学模型,揭示了柔性啮合参数的演化规律和多状态啮合的齿轮系统非线性动态特性。
齿轮轮齿在动载荷和交变应力作用下的柔性变形包括:弯曲变形、轴向压缩变形、剪切变形、赫兹接触变形和基体变形,这些变形的矢量合成形成轮齿综合柔性变形,对齿轮副的啮合参数(如啮合点半径、啮合点压力角、啮合点曲率半径、重合度等)产生影响,进而影响时变啮合刚度和时变载荷分配系数以及齿轮系统的多状态啮合非线性动力学性能。
齿轮啮合过程中,轮齿可视为承受动载荷的悬臂梁模型,其受力如图1所示,其中Rbii=p,g分别代表主、从动轮)是齿轮基圆半径;Rfi是齿根圆半径;F为齿轮负载,F可分解为FxFy两个正交分量;βi为分量Fy和作用力F之间的夹角;θbi表示基圆上的半齿角;θfi表示齿根圆上的半齿角;其余参数的物理含义详见图1
考虑轮齿弯曲变形量δb(t)、轴向压缩变形量δa(t)、剪切变形量δs(t)、赫兹接触变形量δh(t)和基体变形量δf(t)沿啮合线方向的综合柔性变形量δi由下式计算可得,矢量合成图如图2所示。

式中,μ为泊松比;α为压力角;b为齿宽;L*M*P*Q*为基体变形修正系数;ufiSfi的描述见图1,以上参数详细计算见文献[1];式(2)、(7)和(8)中的积分上下限由以下式子计算可得:

图3为考虑轮齿柔性的齿轮副啮合线细节图,蓝色线AD为齿轮理论啮合线,A点和D点分别为理论啮合线的啮入、啮出点;由于轮齿柔性诱发齿轮副非标准啮合,引起系统滞后啮入和提前啮出,因此考虑轮齿柔性的实际啮合线为红色线A1D1,A1点和D1点分别为实际啮合线的啮入、啮出点。Op和Og为主、从动轮旋转中心。
轮齿柔性使A点和D点偏离理论位置,因此重新计算啮入、啮出点的位置至关重要。A1点的位置由从动轮等效齿顶圆半径Rag2确定:

轮齿柔性变形不但诱发齿轮副非标准啮合,而且影响齿轮系统的啮合点半径、重合度等时变啮合参数。图4为齿轮重合度示意图,εmε分别为理论重合度和考虑轮齿柔性的实际重合度,如下式所示,其余参数描述见图3

沿啮合线方向的综合柔性刚度k(t)包括弯曲刚度kb(t)、剪切刚度ks(t)、压缩刚度ka(t)、赫兹接触刚度kh(t)、基体刚度kf(t)、结构体耦合刚度kjnknj表示由于轮齿nn=1,2分别表示第一对轮齿和第二对轮齿)受到载荷而在轮齿jj=1,2分别表示第一对轮齿和第二对轮齿)中产生的等效刚度和轮齿jj=1,2)受到载荷而在轮齿nn=1,2)中产生的等效刚度。综上所述,k(t)由下式计算可得:

根据能量法计算载荷分配系数LSR,考虑轮齿柔性对重合度的影响,结合图4中的区域划分,LSR的计算如下式所示:

式中,knn=1,2)为第n对啮合轮齿的综合柔性刚度,由式(28)计算可得。
本文以外啮合直齿轮副为研究对象,假设齿轮副为刚性支撑,考虑轮齿柔性的齿面、齿背简化物理模型如图5所示,本文简化物理模型不同于理论的简化物理模型,主要区别在于Rbi2i=p,g表示主、从动轮)和kr(t)r=d,k表示齿面、齿背)。
图5中,cg为啮合阻尼,由下式计算可得,计算式见文献[10];D¯为齿侧间隙的一半;μ(t)为干摩擦工况下的摩擦系数;e(t)为动态传递误差;kd(t)为齿面时变啮合刚度,kk(t)为齿背时变啮合刚度;TiθiIii=p,g)分别为转矩、转动角位移和转动惯量。表1为齿轮几何参数。

式中,ζ为阻尼比(通常为定值且取值范围为0.03~0.17);me为当量质量。
轮齿柔性不但影响齿轮系统的双齿啮合区域而且对多状态啮合的边界条件有较大的影响。考虑轮齿柔性的齿轮相对位移x¯=Rbp2θp-Rbg2θg-e(t),运动时间t=qT¯0qN),啮合周期T¯0=2π/(ωpzp)。重合度与齿侧间隙之间的交互作用诱发齿轮系统的多状态啮合,根据x¯±D¯的数值关系,齿轮副多状态柔性啮合特征划分为以下5种类型。
(1)单齿齿面啮合:

根据直齿轮副5种柔性啮合状态下的动力学模型及其边界条件,通过引入啮合力函数Fm、啮合状态函数h¯(t,x¯)、当量质量me、内部误差激励F¯h(t)、负载F¯m和相对加速度x¯¨,构建了考虑轮齿柔性的5状态啮合模型,如下式所示:

综上可得包含双齿齿面啮合、单齿齿面啮合、双齿齿背啮合、单齿齿背啮合和轮齿脱啮的直齿圆柱齿轮系统非线性动力学无量纲归一化表达式,如式(44)所示。
图67分别为轮齿柔性变形量图、考虑载荷分配和单双齿啮合的轮齿柔性变形量图。图6中,红色曲线和绿色曲线为本文模型和传统模型的主动轮柔性变形量,蓝色曲线和蓝绿色曲线为本文模型和传统模型的从动轮柔性变形量,黑色曲线和粉色曲线为本文模型和传统模型的一对轮齿副综合柔性变形量,沿着啮合线,主动轮柔性变形量持续增大,而从动轮柔性变形量持续减小,综合柔性变形量先减小后增大。图7中,紫色曲线和蓝绿色曲线为本文模型和传统模型考虑载荷分配的轮齿柔性变形量,橙色曲线和绿色曲线为本文模型和传统模型考虑载荷分配和单双齿啮合的轮齿柔性变形量,沿着啮合线,紫色曲线、蓝绿色曲线、橙色曲线和绿色曲线先增大后减小,在单齿区域变形量趋于最大,由于双齿区域的两对轮齿载荷分配不均匀,故在单双齿交替处曲线发生了跳跃。综上,本文模型与传统模型在趋势上具有一致性,从而验证了本文模型的正确性。
图8~13分别为时变的啮合点半径、啮合点压力角、曲率半径、啮合刚度、单双齿啮合和结构体耦合效应刚度、载荷分配系数。图8~11中,蓝色曲线和蓝绿色曲线分别为考虑与不考虑轮齿柔性的主动轮啮合点半径、主动轮啮合点压力角、主动轮曲率半径、从动轮啮合刚度;红色曲线和绿色曲线分别为考虑与不考虑轮齿柔性的从动轮啮合点半径、从动轮啮合点压力角、从动轮曲率半径、主动轮啮合刚度。沿着啮合线,蓝色曲线和蓝绿色曲线不断增大、红色曲线和绿色曲线不断减小,黑色曲线和粉色曲线分别为考虑与不考虑轮齿柔性的一对轮齿副综合刚度,沿着啮合线先增大后减小。图12中,蓝色曲线和红色曲线为考虑和不考虑结构体耦合效应的时变啮合刚度,蓝绿色曲线为不考虑轮齿柔性的单双齿啮合刚度,单齿区域的轮齿刚度较小,双齿区域的轮齿刚度较大,且在考虑轮齿柔性后双齿区域占比减小。图13中,红色曲线和蓝绿色曲线分别为考虑与不考虑轮齿柔性的载荷分配系数。沿着啮合线,红色曲线和蓝绿色曲线在第1个双齿区域先增大,单齿区域始终保持不变,第2个双齿区域不断减小。图1213中,因为双齿区域内两对轮齿载荷分配不均匀,所以在单双齿切换时曲线发生跳跃现象。
图8~13中不难看出,考虑轮齿柔性时齿轮系统的重合度减小,进而影响啮合点的半径、压力角和重合度等啮合参数。曲线在考虑轮齿柔性后变得更加平滑,且经过与传统模型的对比,两对比曲线趋势上具有一致性。
图14为压力角和主动轮啮合点半径组成平面上最大柔性变形量分布图,图15为压力角和主动轮曲率半径组成平面上最大柔性变形量分布图。图中,Rdp(t)Sdp(t)δα分别为主动轮的啮合点半径、曲率半径、柔性变形量的幅值和压力角。红色区域中,轮齿发生较大变形,δ可能导致轮齿出现非标准啮合、断裂和齿面磨损等病害现象;蓝色区域的δ最小,相比红色区域,蓝色区域齿轮性能较优。可见,αRdp(t)Sdp(t)δ的变化成正相关,在设计齿轮系统时,选择较小的αRdp(t)Sdp(t)时系统性能较优,此双参数图可对齿轮结构优化设计、性能提升提供参考。
为分析齿轮传动系统多状态柔性啮合非线性动态行为,定义了1种Poincaré映射截面ββ={(x,x˙,τ)R2×Tmod(τ,2π/ω)=0}
结合相图、Poincaré截面图等分析外啮合直齿轮系统多状态柔性啮合特性。通过相图(xD,系统为齿面啮合;-D<x<D,系统为轮齿脱啮;x-D,系统为齿背啮合)和Poincaré截面图辨识齿轮系统多状态柔性啮合行为和运动周期,结合分岔图和最大Lyapunov指数(TLE)图,揭示齿轮系统随齿侧间隙D变化的全局分岔与混沌特性。
取系统参数ω=1.8D(0,1.5],分析D对非线性动态行为的影响。图16为多状态柔性啮合的齿轮系统随D变化的分岔图和TLE图,图17为与图16相对应的分岔树状图,圆圈代表齿轮系统的运动类型,矩形框代表分岔点,图18为不同D对应的相图和Poincaré截面图。图16中,A点之前系统表现为周期1运动(P1),齿轮系统多状态柔性啮合交替进行;在A点时,一部分P1运动转迁为周期3运动(Q3),系统发生不完全分岔现象;A点与B点之间,P1和Q3共存,其相轨迹和Poincaré截面图见图18(a);经过分岔点B后,P1运动完全转迁为周期3运动(P3),Q3运动完全转迁为周期5运动(P5),P3与P5共存,见图18(b),则B为双重分岔点,在该点附近齿轮系统运动状态极不稳定;D点,P3和P5同时转迁为混沌运动(QN1),随后QN1在E点完全转迁为周期4运动(P4);在F点,周期4运动(P4)完全转迁为周期2运动(P2);在G点,P2在部分初值下转迁为混沌运动(QN2),而在余下初值内保持原始状态,进而引起P2与QN2共存现象,见图18(c);穿越H点时,QN2完全转迁为新的周期2运动(Q2),从而导致P2和Q2的共存现象,见图18(d);在I点,Q2转迁为新的混沌运动(QN3),引起P2和QN3共存,见图18(e);J点之后,QN3运动转迁为新的周期3运动(H3),此时P2运动和H3共存,见图18(f);随后在K点,H3完全转迁为新的周期3运动(M3),此时H3运动的拓扑结构与M3运动的拓扑结构略有不同,P2与M3共存,见图18(g);L点之后,齿轮系统的运动全部转迁为M3运动。图16中共存运动的具体分岔与演化过程可通过分岔树状图清晰地揭示,如图17所示。
综上所述,当间隙D较小时,系统表现为稳定的P1运动;随着D的增大,系统动力学行为相对复杂,且出现周期运动与混沌运动共存现象,发现非完全分岔是引起系统运动共存的根本原因,如分岔点A、B和G;当间隙D较大时,系统呈现出稳定的M3运动,但振幅较大,系统振动强度较大。
本文首先计算了啮合轮齿柔性变形量,进而推导了考虑轮齿柔性的时变啮合参数,最终构建了多状态柔性啮合非线性动力学模型,揭示轮齿柔性对啮合参数的影响规律,并讨论了齿轮系统随齿侧间隙D变化的全局分岔与混沌特性,具体结论如下:
(1)轮齿柔性减小了双齿啮合区域,进而影响重合度、啮合点半径、曲率半径、时变啮合刚度等时变啮合参数。
(2)齿侧间隙对齿轮系统共存响应的分岔与演化有较大的影响,随着齿侧间隙的增大,稳定的周期运动经非完全分岔产生共存响应,包括周期运动与周期运动的共存,周期运动与混沌运动的共存。当间隙较大时,尽管系统表现为稳定的周期运动,但其振幅较大,系统振动强度仍然较大,工程实际中应尽可能避免。
本文所建立的模型考虑了轮齿柔性变形,能在一定程度上反映齿轮系统的实际传动过程,为进一步研究考虑轮齿柔性的齿轮系统冲击碰撞特性奠定了基础。
