In order to solve many problems that have existed in the operation of the mineral resource reserves database over the years, such as data registration errors, data inconsistency, data missing, data duplication, data redundancy, and omission of registration, Henan Province has carried out a cleaning operation on the provincial reserves database. It has explored technical methods of cleaning from aspects such as basic database information, report information, resource reserves data, verification of coordinates and coordinate systems, and mineral deposits, combined with the national survey of mineral resources and annual reserves statistics. Eventually, a list of problems in the reserves database has been formed. The research results have laid a solid foundation for future updates to the reserves database and providing strong support for better mineral resource management.

矿产资源储量数据库是矿产资源管理的基础和依据，是矿产资源管理的重要抓手。为解决矿产资源储量数据库运行多年以来，存在的数据登记错误、数据不自洽、数据缺失、数据重复、数据冗余、遗漏登记等问题，河南省开展了全省储量数据库的清理工作，探索出从数据库基本信息清理、报告信息清理、资源储量数据清理、坐标及坐标系核实、矿产地清理并结合矿产资源国情调查和年度储量统计工作进行清理的技术方法，最终形成了储量库问题清单。研究结果为将来更新储量数据库打下了坚实基础，为更好地进行矿政管理提供了有力支撑。
