Uranium tailings pond is a major safety and environmental hazard, and it is very important to ensure the safety and reliability under all conditions (including extreme disaster condition). Seismic condition is an important extraordinary working condition affecting the safety of uranium tailings ponds. Focused on the renovation project of a uranium tailings pond, the three-dimensional dynamic finite element method is applied to simulate and analyze seismic condition of uranium tailings pond for the first time. HS small model and UBC3D-PLM model constitutive model are selected to simulate and analyze a uranium tailings pond by dynamic finite element method. Seismic wave characteristic parameters and tailings dynamic characteristic parameters are taken into the finite element seismic dynamic simulation calculation, and the extreme conditions of rare earthquake are considered in the calculation, the displacement nephogram, acceleration nephogram, acceleration time history curve, potential liquefaction range and incremental displacement nephogram are obtained. The results show that the displacement of the dam body increases continuously under earthquake action, and the displacements of dam body decrease obviously after the implementation of the renovation project; there is no obvious change in the acceleration response caused by the renovation project; the liquefaction area is mainly distributed in the slope of the filled dam below the rock-filled platform, mainly in shallow layers (depth of about 3~6 m), and the improvement of liquefaction is limited. The stability safety factor of the dam body under rare earthquake increases from 0.975 to 1.061, the security of rare earthquake condition gets fundamental improvement.

铀尾矿库是重大危险源,在各种工况(包括极端灾害条件)下均应确保其安全可靠。地震工况是影响铀尾矿库安全的重要工况之一,采用三维动力有限元法对某铀尾矿库整治工程进行了地震模拟分析,选择考虑小应变刚度的硬化土模型和液化土模型作为本构模型,考虑罕遇地震的极端工况,将地震波特征参数和尾矿动力特性参数输入有限元地震动力模拟计算中,得到各工况尾矿库的位移云图、加速度云图、加速度时程曲线、潜在液化范围、增量位移云图等。结果表明,在地震作用下,坝体位移呈现累积增大的特征,整治工程实施后坝体位移明显降低;整治工程未对加速度反应造成明显改变;液化区主要分布在块石反压平台以下的堆积坝体,以浅层(深度约3~6 m)液化为主,对液化情况改善有限;整治工程实施后,罕遇地震工况下的最小安全系数由0.975提升至1.061,安全性得到了根本提升。

Uranium tailings pond is a major safety and environmental hazard, and it is very important to ensure the safety and reliability under all conditions (including extreme disaster condition). Seismic condition is an important extraordinary working condition affecting the safety of uranium tailings ponds. Focused on the renovation project of a uranium tailings pond, the three-dimensional dynamic finite element method is applied to simulate and analyze seismic condition of uranium tailings pond for the first time. HS small model and UBC3D-PLM model constitutive model are selected to simulate and analyze a uranium tailings pond by dynamic finite element method. Seismic wave characteristic parameters and tailings dynamic characteristic parameters are taken into the finite element seismic dynamic simulation calculation, and the extreme conditions of rare earthquake are considered in the calculation, the displacement nephogram, acceleration nephogram, acceleration time history curve, potential liquefaction range and incremental displacement nephogram are obtained. The results show that the displacement of the dam body increases continuously under earthquake action, and the displacements of dam body decrease obviously after the implementation of the renovation project; there is no obvious change in the acceleration response caused by the renovation project; the liquefaction area is mainly distributed in the slope of the filled dam below the rock-filled platform, mainly in shallow layers (depth of about 3~6 m), and the improvement of liquefaction is limited. The stability safety factor of the dam body under rare earthquake increases from 0.975 to 1.061, the security of rare earthquake condition gets fundamental improvement.

尾矿库是堆存尾矿的场地,多由堤坝围截而成,并设有排水构筑物以排出尾矿库中的澄清水和雨水[1]。铀矿冶行业的尾矿库是高势能、大体量的泥石流危险源,又是重大的放射性危险源[2]。2006年10月,国务院将铀尾矿库纳入军用核设施安全监管范畴,参照军用核设施的安全标准对其进行监管。《核工业铀水冶厂尾矿库、尾渣库安全设计规范》(GB 50520—2009)对不同库容的铀尾矿库的设计等级进行了明确规定,并规定当尾矿库失事后可能危及下游重要城镇、工矿区、铁路干线或其他具有重要政治经济意义的设施时,应提高一等[3]。对于地震工况,当尾矿坝体饱和区含有可液化土时,若采用规范推荐的拟静力分析法进行稳定分析,其计算结果与真实情况存在偏差[4]
铀尾矿库多采用上游法进行筑坝,初期坝一般为干砌石坝或均质黏土坝,而尾矿堆积坝的坝头部位主要由尾中砂堆筑而成,库区上游坝体则主要由尾细砂、尾粉砂和尾黏土等堆筑而成。地震是尾矿库坝体发生液化的重要诱因之一,在地震时浸润面以下的饱和尾矿砂受到高频往返的水平力作用,孔隙水压升高,尾矿砂抗剪强度明显退化[5],直至发生液化现象。液化发生后,尾矿砂的有效应力指标仅为原指标的0~20%[6],进而引发瞬间整体滑坡、溃坝等事故。
尾矿坝地震动力分析方法主要有拟静力法和动力有限元法。拟静力法将地震力进行简化,得到单一安全系数,其结果不能准确预测震后尾矿库的实际情况。动力有限元法将地震波特征参数和尾矿动力特性参数引入到有限元地震动力模拟计算中,得到的计算结果与实际情况更接近,能够对尾矿坝抗震性能进行更全面的预测和评估[7]。目前,国内有色行业尾矿库多采用动力有限元法进行地震稳定性计算研究[8-14];而铀尾矿库基本采用拟静力法进行地震稳定计算[15],鉴于铀尾矿库的重要程度,采用更为先进可靠的动力有限元法对其进行三维动力反应分析是十分必要的[16]
笔者首次将三维动力有限元法应用到铀尾矿库的地震动力反应分析中,并对铀尾矿库的极端自然灾害(罕遇地震)工况进行研究,通过对比分析整治方案实施前后尾矿库在不同地震工况下安全指标的变化情况,对整治方案的实施效果进行评价,对尾矿库抗震措施提出完善建议。
某铀尾矿库位于南方,库区地形起伏不平,山高坡陡,灌木丛生,河谷发育,地面径流条件良好。尾矿坝为三等库,采用上游法筑坝,由初期坝和尾矿堆积坝组成(图1)。初期坝为碾压式均质土坝,坝顶标高为125 m,坝高约25 m,坝长约145 m,坝内坡坡度为1∶2.5,坝外坡度为1∶2~1∶2.5,坝外坡坡脚设置块石排渗体。初期坝堆满后设计采用尾矿堆坝,水冶厂产生的尾矿浆被送至尾矿坝顶进行分散放矿筑坝,设计堆积坝坡坡度为1∶3.5。
原规划设计尾矿坝北沟最终堆积标高为175 m,南沟最终堆积标高为165 m。目前尾矿库共采用尾砂堆筑了12道子坝,尾矿堆积坝顶标高约为151 m,库内累计堆积尾矿砂约700万m3。尾矿库采用井管系统进行排洪,尾矿沉积滩坡度约为2%,整治工程实施前库内水位为148.57 m。尾矿库剖面示意图见图2
尾矿库区主要包括黏土(初期坝)、尾矿砂、尾矿泥、强风化云母片岩(山体及坝基)等地层。
黏土(初期坝)呈红褐色,以黏性土为主,土质较均匀,含碎石及粉土,可塑-硬塑;厚度7.30~29.00 m(平均18.52 m),层底标高96.10~111.30 m(平均101.89 m),层底埋深14.00~33.50 m(平均27.18 m)。
尾矿砂呈灰白色-灰黄色,石英长石质,砂质较纯,级配不良,饱和,稍密-中密。在场区普遍分布,厚度2.40~31.70 m(平均16.68 m),层底标高109.86~136.98 m(平均121.87 m),层底埋深8.00~32.40 m(平均22.01 m)。
尾矿泥呈浅黄色-黄褐色,以黏性土为主,土质较均匀,具层理性,软塑-可塑。在场区普遍分布,厚度0.80~35.90 m(平均17.45 m),层底标高99.52~136.20 m(平均111.85 m),层底埋深2.40~46.40 m(平均31.97 m)。
强风化云母片岩(山体及坝基)呈灰黄色-褐黄色,局部浅红色,含黏土质矿物,风化节理裂隙发育,节理裂隙面铁锰质侵染。岩芯呈半土半岩、碎块状,碎块敲击易散碎。该层未穿透。
根据尾矿库内水位、干滩长度及坝体浸润线的监测记录,2019年4月以来的尾矿库库内水位比2018年尾矿库库内水位高31 cm;干滩长度长期处于106 m,比2018年同期缩短19 m;所有监测孔浸润线呈现明显上升趋势,最大上升量达2.1 m。因此需要对尾矿库进行安全整治,以有效降低库内水位,降低坝体安全风险。
整治方案采用2台7.5 kW水泵和4根虹吸管进行24 h不间断排水,单台水泵的排水流量为140 m3/s,抽水60 d。为防止水位降低过多,降水高度设定为1.6 m,抽出的水通过排洪井排出库外。降水施工前,在库内2号排洪井靠近岸坡一侧搭设钢管脚手架和浮排,浮排随水位降低而平缓下浮,排水泵紧邻排洪井放置。尾矿库整治工程平面布置见图3
预计降水后库面水位标高为146.97 m,坝体浸润线降低约2.0 m,库内干滩长度增加约80 m,新增加干滩面积约41 200 m2。在降低水位过程中,对水质进行持续监测,监测次数不少于4次/d,如水质超标,则立即停止降水。
PLAXIS 3D是一款用于岩土工程变形、稳定和动力学三维分析的有限元程序,软件中包含多种先进的本构模型,可用来模拟土体或岩石的非线性、时间相关性和各向异性行为,具有处理各种复杂岩土问题的功能。
根据场区地层实际情况,合并力学性质相近的地层,实现对模型地层的概化处理,以简化数值模拟计算的工作量,并减少可能存在的不收敛问题。根据三维有限元的经验做法选取边界范围,本计算模型范围东西向(尾矿坝横轴方向)为900 m,南北向(尾矿坝纵轴方向)为1 000 m,坝基厚度为100 m。尾矿库有限元模型见图4
对于静力分析边界条件,模型四周的竖向边界采用面外法向位移约束、面内自由变形,模型底部水平边界采用完全位移约束(三维方向均进行位移约束),模型顶部表面则采用完全自由变形边界。对于动力分析边界条件,为保证地震波在模型边界上的反射最小化,侧向边界采用自由场边界,底部边界采用一致地基边界。
模拟计算所采用的本构模型应能充分表达土体的弹塑性、非线性力学特性,以及在动力条件下土体的物理阻尼、饱和非黏性土液化等动力学特性。对于尾矿砂,采用考虑小应变刚度的硬化土模型(HS small model)进行静力分析,采用液化土模型(UBC3D-PLM model)进行地震作用下的动力分析;其余土层均采用考虑小应变刚度的硬化土模型进行分析。
与弹性-理想塑性模型(如经典MC model)相比,硬化塑性模型的屈服面不会固定在主应力空间中,会因塑性应变而扩展。
考虑小应变刚度的硬化土模型作为一种高级本构模型,其基本特征之一是土刚度的应力相关性,硬化类型有剪切硬化和压缩硬化。剪切硬化用于模拟初始偏载引起的不可逆应变;压缩硬化用于模拟一维固结加载和各向同性加载中初始压缩引起的不可逆塑性应变[17]。硬化土模型采用塑性理论,考虑了土体的剪胀,引入了屈服帽盖,可很好地替代双曲线模型。其构建是基于在初始三轴加载时,土体竖向应变(ε1)与偏应力(q)的双曲关系[18]
液化土模型是一种有效的应力弹塑性模型,能模拟地震荷载下砂土和粉砂的液化行为。该模型基于原始Duncan-Chang模型,在经典塑性理论中采用双曲线应变硬化规则建立而来,硬化规则将给定应力下的机动摩擦角与塑性剪切应变联系起来。模型中的流动法则基于应力-剪胀理论,根据能量考虑线性化和简化。为了保持从各向同性线开始的应力路径在偏平面上的应力-应变共轴性假设,基于Drucker-Prager准则,修正非关联塑性势函数用于初级屈服面。
当受到动力或循环加载时,液化土模型在调动土体材料强度(剪切硬化)时会产生塑性应变,可用定义瑞利阻尼来模拟初始土体的阻尼特性。在采用液化土模型进行饱和非黏性土的液化分析时,采用超静孔压比表达土层的液化势,当超静孔压比等于1时,相应的土层处于完全液化状态,一般将超静孔压比大于0.7的区域视为液化区。
模型中土体的主要物理力学参数见表1~表2表1中,ρ为天然密度;E50为参考围压应力水平下(一般按pref=100 kN/m2考虑,下同)标准三轴排水试验中初始加载的平均割线刚度;Eoed为参考围压应力水平下固结试验中的切线刚度;Eur为参考围压应力水平下标准三轴排水试验中循环加载的加卸载刚度;m为应力水平相关的刚度变化幂率;c为有效粘聚力;φ为有效内摩擦角;G0为参考围压应力水平下微小应变水平的剪切刚度;γ0.7为剪切应变下降至0.722G0时对应的阈值剪切应变。
表2中,kB为弹性体积模量系数;kG为弹性剪切模型系数;kP为塑性剪切模型系数;me为弹性体积模量指数;ne为弹性剪切模型指数;np为塑性剪切模型指数;φcv为常体积摩擦角;φp为峰值摩擦角;c为粘聚力;σt为抗拉强度;(N1)60为修正SPT值。
根据区划图,尾矿库场地为地震烈度Ⅵ以下区域。场地设计基本地震加速度为0.05g(多遇地震),罕遇地震按2倍基本地震动加速度计算,取0.1g[19]。场地土为中软土,基岩埋深约12~85 m,设计地震分组为第一组,等效剪切波速110 m/s,地震反应谱特征周期0.35 s。本次尾矿库地震动力分析选用规范推荐的El-centro地震波,为计算安全,本次动力分析所用地震波的持续时间取20 s。
整治工程实施前后库内水面标高分别为148.57 m和146.97 m,根据三维渗流模拟分析得到整治工程前后的坝体浸润面。相关规范中尾矿库抗震采用多遇地震进行计算,为验证铀尾矿库在极端条件下的安全性,同时采用多遇地震和罕遇地震对铀尾矿库进行动力模拟分析:工况1为整治前铀尾矿库遭遇多遇地震(0.05g);工况2为整治前铀尾矿库遭遇罕遇地震(0.1g);工况3为整治后铀尾矿库遭遇多遇地震(0.05g);工况4为整治后铀尾矿库遭遇罕遇地震(0.1g)。
利用已建立的数值分析模型,对4种工况下的铀尾矿库动力稳定情况进行计算,并对结果进行分析。尾矿库动力响应分析包括动应力状态下位移场特征、动应力状态下加速度特征、地震动力液化反应、地震动力坝坡稳定等内容。
从各工况下的尾矿库坝体总位移(uy)云图(图6)可看出,各工况沿坝体纵向(y方向)的位移均集中分布在堆积坝坡面上,其中最大值区域分布在靠近堆积坝顶的坡面位置,位移方向在坝体中轴线两侧对称分布。
从各工况的尾矿库坝体总位移(动力)时程(图7)可看出,各工况坝体总位移在地震波作用下均呈现不断累积增大的特征;并且多遇地震(0.05g)工况下,第14 s后位移出现快速累积增加现象;在罕遇地震(0.1g)工况下,第9 s后位移出现快速累积增加现象。
经过安全整治,当尾矿库遭遇多遇地震时,坝体最大总位移量为1.49 m,比整治前减少0.43 m,减少了22.4%;当尾矿库遭遇罕遇地震时,坝体最大总位移量为2.62 m,比整治前减少0.76 m,减少了22.5%。安全整治工程对降低地震工况下产生的坝体永久变形量作用显著。
在尾矿库坝体模型上共布置9个加速度响应监测点,监测点分布情况见图8
从地震反应末期各工况下的尾矿库坝体水平向加速度(ax)云图(图9)可看出,地震波结束时各工况下尾矿坝面上的最大加速度(ax)区域基本呈圆环状靶形分布,位于堆积坝坡中上部位,y方向位置靠近坝体中线略微偏向左侧坝肩。
141.5 m标高的加速度响应监测点位于加速度最大值的分布区,分别输出各工况下该点xyz方向的加速度时程曲线,得到整个地震历时的各工况尾矿库坝体(141.5 m)加速度时程(图10)。可以看出,坝体加速度以x方向的加速度(ax)为主,在多遇地震(0.05g)工况下,第16 s后达到加速度峰值;在罕遇地震(0.1g)工况下,第10~12 s后达到加速度峰值。多遇地震工况下坝体表面加速度响应最大区域的峰值加速度时刻与输入地震波的峰值加速度时刻,存在更为明显的滞后情况,安全整治工程的实施未对坝体加速度反应造成明显改变。
在地震反应末期,各工况下的尾矿库坝体超静孔压比分布云图见图11。可以看出,4种工况下坝体超静孔压比最大值均大于0.7,即地震工况下坝体局部均会产生液化反应。从动力分析下坝体液化区域分布情况来看,液化区域主要分布在块石反压平台以下的堆积坝体。
选取一坝体横剖面,得到各工况下该横剖面上的坝体超静孔压比分布云图(图12)。可以看出,地震工况下坝体液化以浅层土体液化为主,液化深度约为3~6 m,对坝体整体稳定性不具备决定性作用。整治工程实施后,坝体动力液化情况得到一定程度的改善,但仍存在一定范围的潜在动力液化区域。
增量位移指采用强度折减法计算的最后1个折减计算步所产生的位移,通过增量位移可知折减计算步中坝体内部滑动体范围。从地震期间各工况下的尾矿库坝体增量位移分布云图(图13)可看出,坝体最不利滑动面分布形状与ax加速度分布形状相近,呈圆环状靶形分布,位于初期坝顶以上的堆积坝坡面,y轴方向略靠近左侧岸坡,滑动面未经过两侧坝肩位置。
各工况地震动力坝坡稳定情况见表3。可以看出,整治工程实施前,在罕遇地震工况下尾矿库坝坡抗滑稳定最小安全系数为0.975,处于不稳定状态,有滑坡垮坝的风险;整治工程实施后,尾矿库在多遇地震工况下的最小安全系数提升了6.9%,在罕遇地震工况下的最小安全系数提升了8.8%,罕遇地震工况已能够满足规范限值(1.05)的要求。整治工程的实施对提升尾矿库地震动力坝坡稳定性作用明显。
通过3.1节~3.4节的模拟分析可知,整治工程实施后尾矿库坝体的安全性得到明显提升,在罕遇地震工况下,坝体的最小安全系数由小于1.0的不稳定状态提升至满足规范要求(1.05)的安全状态。但整治工程对坝坡液化区域的改善作用有限,因此应针对液化问题进一步提高尾矿库抗震性能。
在实际工程中,防止地震液化主要应从改良尾矿的沉积环境、降低地下水位、提高坝体密度和增加有效覆盖压力等[20]方面着手。根据地震液化分析结果,尾矿库坝坡液化区主要分布在坝坡表面以下3~6 m区域。由于尾矿坝堆积方法为自然冲积法放矿堆坝,采取提高尾矿密实度的方法抗液化不可取,而在坝坡打振挤桩又不经济。因此,尾矿库抗液化措施应针对降低坝体浸润线进行考虑,即在该液化区增设排渗设施(水平排渗联合垂直排渗),将坝体浸润线降低至坝面6 m以下,同时在坝坡增设块石反压,进而有效提升尾矿库坝体的抗液化能力和地震动力坝坡稳定性。
将三维动力有限元法应用到铀尾矿库的地震动力反应分析中,并对铀尾矿库的极端自然灾害(罕遇地震)工况进行研究,提升了铀尾矿库地震动力分析的技术水平,拓展了铀尾矿库的计算工况范围,可为今后铀尾矿库的设计、管理和地震灾害预防提供借鉴和参考。通过研究得到以下结论:
1)地震作用下位移呈现不断累积增大的特征,经过安全整治,在多遇地震工况和罕遇地震工况下的尾矿库坝体最大位移量均得到明显降低。
2)与罕遇地震相比,多遇地震工况下坝体加速度响应存在更为明显的滞后情况,安全整治工程的实施未对坝体加速度反应造成明显的改变。
3)尾矿库液化区域主要分布在块石反压平台以下的堆积坝体,坝体液化以浅层土体液化为主,对坝体整体稳定性不产生决定性的作用。
4)通过安全整治,罕遇地震工况下最小安全系数由0.975提升至1.061,罕遇地震工况的安全性得到了根本性提升。
5)可在潜在液化区增设排渗设施(水平排渗联合垂直排渗),同时在坝坡增设块石反压,有效降低坝体浸润线,进而提升尾矿库坝体的抗液化能力和地震动力坝坡稳定性。
