Mastering the particle size in the solution throughout the neutral in-situ leaching process has guiding significance for regulating the leaching process, optimizing filters, determining the position of solid removal, alleviating ore bed blockage, restoring the flow rate of injection liquid, and reducing resin bed stratification. For this purpose, the whole process solution of neutral in-situ leaching of uranium from the Nalinggou deposit in Inner Mongolia was taken as the object, and based on laser particle size analyzer test data, the particle size distribution in the solution was obtained. The results show that the frequency distribution curve of particle size in the leaching solution is asymmetric, and the cumulative distribution curve is in an “S” pattern. The particle size distribution range is narrow, and the maximum particle size is less than 100 μm. The resin bed layer has a strong filtering effect on particulate matter, and the accuracy of the tail liquid filter bag should be determined based on the size of the resin ball and system pressure. The addition of O2 or CO2 in neutral systems has a weak effect on particle size. The particle size frequency distribution curves of both the qualified solution and the masterbatch solution in the settling tank exhibit a “double peak” pattern, while the lean solution exhibits a normal distribution. The maximum particle size in the mother liquor is about 40 μm. It is recommended to choose a precision of 10~50 μm for the leaching solution bag filter, and simultaneously add a 10~20 μm precision filter between the mother liquor tank and the eluent preparation tank. This study reveals the particle size distribution pattern in the whole process solution of the Nalinggou deposit, enriching the understanding of the particle size of neutral in-situ leaching of uranium, and providing a basis for optimizing surface filtration technology in mines.

掌握中性地浸采铀全流程溶液中颗粒大小,对调控浸出过程、优选过滤器、确定除固位置、缓解矿层堵塞、恢复抽注液量和减轻树脂床层板结等具有指导意义。以内蒙古纳岭沟矿床中性地浸采铀全流程溶液为对象,基于激光粒度仪测试数据,获取了全流程溶液中颗粒粒径分布规律。结果表明,浸出液中颗粒粒径频率分布曲线呈非对称性,累计分布曲线呈“S”型,粒径分布范围窄,最大颗粒粒径<100 μm;树脂床层对颗粒物有较强的过滤作用,吸附尾液过滤器的滤袋精度应根据树脂粒径大小和系统压力确定;中性体系中加入的O2或CO2对颗粒粒径影响微弱;淋洗合格液和沉淀罐中母液的颗粒粒径频率分布曲线均呈“双峰”型,贫液中颗粒粒径频率则呈正态分布;母液槽中颗粒最大粒径约为40 μm。建议该矿床原液袋式过滤器的滤袋精度选用10~50 μm,同时在母液槽与淋洗剂配制罐之间增加10~20 μm精度的过滤器。

Mastering the particle size in the solution throughout the neutral in-situ leaching process has guiding significance for regulating the leaching process, optimizing filters, determining the position of solid removal, alleviating ore bed blockage, restoring the flow rate of injection liquid, and reducing resin bed stratification. For this purpose, the whole process solution of neutral in-situ leaching of uranium from the Nalinggou deposit in Inner Mongolia was taken as the object, and based on laser particle size analyzer test data, the particle size distribution in the solution was obtained. The results show that the frequency distribution curve of particle size in the leaching solution is asymmetric, and the cumulative distribution curve is in an “S” pattern. The particle size distribution range is narrow, and the maximum particle size is less than 100 μm. The resin bed layer has a strong filtering effect on particulate matter, and the accuracy of the tail liquid filter bag should be determined based on the size of the resin ball and system pressure. The addition of O2 or CO2 in neutral systems has a weak effect on particle size. The particle size frequency distribution curves of both the qualified solution and the masterbatch solution in the settling tank exhibit a “double peak” pattern, while the lean solution exhibits a normal distribution. The maximum particle size in the mother liquor is about 40 μm. It is recommended to choose a precision of 10~50 μm for the leaching solution bag filter, and simultaneously add a 10~20 μm precision filter between the mother liquor tank and the eluent preparation tank. This study reveals the particle size distribution pattern in the whole process solution of the Nalinggou deposit, enriching the understanding of the particle size of neutral in-situ leaching of uranium, and providing a basis for optimizing surface filtration technology in mines.

砂岩铀矿是中国主要的天然铀资源类型,原地浸出采铀(简称地浸采铀)是砂岩铀矿开发的首选工艺[1-2]。中性地浸采铀以O2和CO2配制浸出剂,具有浸出环境温和、资源回收率高、对地下水环境影响小等优点[3-5],已成为中国第三代铀矿采冶技术的核心工艺。
掌握中性地浸全流程溶液中颗粒大小,对调控浸出过程、优选过滤器、确定除固位置、缓解矿层堵塞、恢复抽注液量和减轻树脂床层板结等具有指导意义。碳酸盐、黏土矿物、中性地浸过程中的化学堵塞是影响含矿层渗透性的主要因素[6];物理/机械堵塞也是造成含矿层堵塞的重要原因,尤其是在浸出前期,颗粒物在水动力作用下经由钻井内过滤器进入井管,被提升至地表,并经地表过滤器和离子交换塔树脂床分离后残留的碎屑仍会引起含矿层堵塞[7]。利用颗粒计数器对某地浸采区的注液袋式过滤器前后及注液砂滤塔前后尾液中颗粒的研究表明,尾液中颗粒粒径主要集中在5~10 μm,砂滤塔对20 μm以上颗粒物的过滤性能更优[8]
截至目前,尚未见对中性浸出全流程溶液中颗粒物粒径的研究报道。为此,以内蒙古纳岭沟矿床中性地浸采铀全流程溶液为研究对象,利用激光粒度仪获取溶液中颗粒粒径分布,旨在揭示纳岭沟矿床全流程溶液中颗粒粒径分布规律,丰富对中性地浸采铀颗粒物粒径认识,为矿山优化地表过滤技术提供指导。
地浸采铀整体流程体系可用“两个循环”简要描述(图1)。在地浸采铀全流程工序中,固体颗粒物的存在严重影响工艺运行,主要体现在:1)造成矿层堵塞[9-11],增大注液压力,降低抽注液量;2)进入离子交换塔包裹树脂球,降低树脂吸附性能;3)使树脂床层板结[12],升高离子交换塔塔压,降低交换塔处理能力;4)过滤设备(袋式过滤器或砂滤塔)滤袋更换或反冲洗操作频繁。
通常认为,固体颗粒物的主要来源是抽出井。当含矿层地下水从天然流场条件转变为抽注浸出流场条件时,其流速可快速提高几十、上百倍,造成抽出井周边含矿层中失稳碎屑的迁移和析出,并被浸出液夹带;若地表过滤器分离效果不高,颗粒物则会在地浸全流程体系中循环。同时,伴随体系中水与围岩作用、溶液酸碱度、压力、温度等变化,还会有部分化学沉淀物的溶解或析出。
内蒙古纳岭沟铀矿地浸试验采用中性浸出工艺,当前注液压力为0.8 MPa,浸出原液和吸附尾液过滤均利用快开式袋式过滤器,滤袋精度为100 μm。该试验点采用闭式循环系统,各单井浸出液进入集液总管后,直接进入原液过滤器分离固相,滤液随后进入吸附塔进行铀的吸附和后续水冶工序。
根据图1所示的中性地浸体系,在纳岭沟铀矿地浸试验点按流程取水样。为保证取样具有代表性,取样量统一为150 mL,通过设置的管路取样嘴或将设备内介质搅拌均匀(如酸化槽、沉淀罐等)后利用取样器取样。
粒度测试的仪器和方法较多[13-14],激光粒度仪具有速度快、量程宽、操作简便、重现性和准确性好等特点,是最广泛的粒度测量仪器。Mie散射理论定量描述了颗粒直径及含量与其产生的散射光角度和强度的关系,颗粒越小,产生散射光的角度越大,激光粒度仪根据Mie散射理论[15]测量粒度分布。
激光粒度仪型号:BT-9300S,技术指标见表1。其是采用双镜头光学系统的一种高性能激光粒度仪,由半导体激光器发出的一束激光,经滤波、扩束、准值后变成一束平行光;在该平行光束中放置样品池,在准直透镜焦平面的前向、侧向和后向分别放置一组散射光探测器,并将探测器的信号传输到计算机中进行反演计算,便可得到所测样品的粒度分布。基本原理见图2
溶液中颗粒物受重力作用会沉降到容器底部,测试前需利用磁力搅拌器将溶液搅拌均匀,并利用滴管吸取被测物少量多次地滴入激光粒度仪样品池,使被测物处于设备预设的遮光率范围内;同时开启测试设备的“循环”通道和“超声波分散”通道,通过“实时窗口”查看关键粒径参数是否稳定;待数值稳定后开启“测量”通道进行测量并保存数据。
抽出井(SYC-2C)浸出原液中颗粒粒径频率分布和累计分布见图3,各粒径区间的详细数据见表2。可以看出,该钻井浸出原液中颗粒粒径频率分布曲线呈非对称性,累计分布曲线呈“S”型;粒径范围为0.195~41.91 μm,体积平均径为8.731 μm,粒径≤7.232 μm的颗粒数占总颗粒数的50%,粒径≤25 μm的颗粒数占总颗粒数的98.64%。从单井数据看,该矿床原液袋式过滤器采用100 μm规格滤袋并不合适。
其他典型抽出井浸出液中颗粒粒度参数见表3。可以看出,1-0-12C井浸出液颗粒粒径分布最广,最大粒径达280 μm;但90%的颗粒粒径在90 μm以下,粒径大于100 μm的颗粒数不及7%。该矿床浸出液总体较为清洁,最大颗粒粒径小于50 μm,即便1-12-1C井水样为刚洗井(洗井方式:双氧水+稀盐酸)后进入系统的较为浑浊的浸出液,其最大粒径也小于100 μm。因此,建议该矿床原液袋式过滤器滤袋精度选用10~50 μm规格;若考虑系统压力降,可选择30 μm或50 μm精度。
采用相同测量方式对其他过程溶液进行粒度测试,结果见表4。可以看出,浸出液集合样经过滤后,颗粒粒径<50 μm,体积平均径<10 μm;溶液中加注CO2后,其颗粒粒径范围与加气体前基本一致。由于时间尺度小,碳酸盐类物质尚未溶解。事实上,过滤后的原液在进塔吸附前加注CO2是为了降低溶液pH,以减轻离子交换塔中树脂板结程度;而经过吸附塔树脂床层的强化过滤作用,尾液清澈透亮,颗粒粒径也低于仪器检测下限。换言之,尾液过滤器的作用主要是拦截固定床离子交换塔内逃逸的树脂球,这也说明尾液过滤器滤袋精度应根据水冶工艺所选用的树脂球粒径来确定。该矿山使用的树脂型号为D231-YT型,粒径为毫米级,故当前尾液过滤器滤袋精度选100 μm理论上可行。
注液过滤后颗粒增多,其原因是:为使洗井水不外排,纳岭沟铀矿将某一吸附塔当作过滤塔使用,洗井水抽出地表后直接进入该塔进行过滤,过滤后的洗井水则直接汇入尾液总管,再通过尾液过滤器过滤后注入钻井。本次取样时,尾液过滤器滤袋并未更换,尽管系统中其他吸附塔的尾液较为洁净;但尾液过滤器由于此前拦截了部分洗井水颗粒,因此在尾液过滤器后检测到少部分颗粒物。另外,尾液加入O2后,检测到的颗粒数也有所增多,其主要原因是:该部分样品取自地浸井场注入井排气口,由于O2属非极性气体,溶解度低,常规运行时存在“气堵”致使注入井注液流量下降的现象,地浸矿山几乎都在井场注入井套管外设置了排气口;而从排气口取样时,容易取到注入井套管内存在的颗粒物。
纳岭沟铀矿采用的离子交换塔属密实固定床,其树脂床层紧密压实,树脂间隙则为浸出液通道,可过滤部分细颗粒,也易造成树脂污染(图4)。对离子交换塔进行反冲洗可缓解该现象,这也进一步说明选择合适原液过滤器的重要性。此外,不排除部分细颗粒仍会穿过离子交换塔塔底内部的过滤器(如绕丝过滤器)再次进入含矿层造成堵塞。因此,从这个角度考虑,尾液过滤器的过滤精度应适度提高。
淋洗合格液和贫液中的颗粒粒径分布见图5。可以看出,合格液在酸化前后,其最大粒径(<5 μm)、体积平均径(<1 μm)基本不变,频率分布曲线均呈“双峰”型;但酸化后峰值粒径有所增大。贫液中颗粒粒径频率分布曲线呈典型的正态分布,峰值粒径为0.922 μm。
合格液和贫液中的颗粒粒径,与饱和树脂外表面粘附的泥砂或板结现象,以及淋洗塔内底部过滤器有关,同时受淋洗剂中颗粒的影响。在中性地浸中,淋洗剂由“NaHCO3+NaCl+母液”配制。由表4可知,淋洗剂中颗粒粒径分布范围为0.273~15.32 μm,平均粒径<5 μm。
沉降罐上层母液和母液槽中母液的颗粒粒径频率分布和累计分布曲线见图6。可以看出,沉降罐中母液颗粒粒径频率分布为“双峰”型,粒径范围较窄,为0.218~1.636 μm;母液槽中母液颗粒最大粒径接近40 μm,峰值粒径为22.91 μm,曲线分布不规则。
母液槽中的母液主要有2个来源:1)前序沉降罐中的上清液,相对洁净;2)后序板框压滤制备产品时产生的滤液,由于压滤初期易发生“穿滤”现象,导致有部分小颗粒浆体进入母液槽。沉降罐中重铀酸钠浆体的平均粒径为6.75 μm,小粒径(2~5 μm)占比为33.47%[16]。鉴于此,建议在母液槽与淋洗剂配制罐之间增加10~20 μm精度的过滤器,这有利于保证母液清洁,进而保证淋洗剂洁净。
饱和树脂经淋洗后循环利用,需配制解毒剂进行解毒转型,解毒剂的成分主要为H2O2+HCl+H2O,本研究所取样品中颗粒粒径低于仪器检测下限。淋洗后反冲液以及解毒后反冲液中的颗粒粒径分布则较广,大粒径占比多;反冲液一般处理后排入废水罐和蒸发池。
中性地浸采铀全流程体系可用“两个循环”表示,对内蒙古纳岭沟铀矿床全流程溶液进行了粒度测试,得到如下结论:
1)浸出液中颗粒粒径频率分布曲线呈非对称性,累计分布曲线呈“S”型,粒径分布范围窄,最大颗粒粒径<100 μm。建议该矿床原液袋式过滤器的滤袋精度为10~50 μm。
2)离子交换塔树脂床层对颗粒物有很强的过滤作用,尾液过滤器滤袋精度应根据水冶工艺所选用的树脂球粒径和系统压力来确定。
3)“循环1”加入O2或CO2对溶液中的颗粒粒径影响微弱。
4)淋洗合格液与沉降罐中母液的颗粒粒径频率均呈“双峰”分布,贫液颗粒粒径频率则呈正态分布;母液槽中颗粒最大粒径约为40 μm,曲线分布不规则。建议在“循环2”的母液槽与淋洗剂配制罐之间增加10~20 μm精度过滤器。
