A sandstone-type uranium deposit in Xinjiang belongs to auspicious prospecting stage with exploration line of 200 m×200 m, low exploration degree, thin ore bed and low uranium content. In addition, there are complex hydrogeological conditions with poor permeability (permeability coefficient is only 0.045 m/d) and high pressure head. No leaching test work has been carried out in this deposit area. In order to study the leaching of uranium resources in the deposit, field leaching test was carried out by adopting neutral leaching and improving the pressure leaching technology, the results show that the average extraction volume of single hole is 1.7 m3/h, the average mass concentration of uranium in leaching solution is 40.37 mg/L, the maximum mass concentration of uranium in single hole is 390.22 mg/L, and the annual leaching recovery is 13.39%, it provides technical support for the exploitation of uranium resources in the deposit.

新疆某砂岩型铀矿床地质提交资源为详查阶段,勘探网度为200 m×200 m,勘探程度较低,且矿层厚度薄,铀品位低。另外,该矿床存在含矿含水层渗透性差(渗透系数仅为0.045 m/d)、承压水头高等复杂水文地质条件,在该矿床区域还未开展任何浸出试验工作。为研究该矿床的铀资源浸出情况,通过采取中性浸出试验及提高下注压力浸出工艺方法,开展了现场浸出试验研究,获得单孔平均抽液量1.7 m3/h、浸出液平均铀质量浓度40.37 mg/L、单孔最高铀质量浓度390.22 mg/L、年浸采率13.39%的效果。研究结果为该矿床铀资源开发提供了技术支撑。

新疆某砂岩型铀矿床地质提交资源为详查阶段,勘探网度为200 m×200 m,勘探程度较低,且矿层厚度薄,铀品位低。另外,该矿床存在含矿含水层渗透性差(渗透系数仅为0.045 m/d)、承压水头高等复杂水文地质条件,在该矿床区域还未开展任何浸出试验工作。为研究该矿床的铀资源浸出情况,通过采取中性浸出试验及提高下注压力浸出工艺方法,开展了现场浸出试验研究,获得单孔平均抽液量1.7 m3/h、浸出液平均铀质量浓度40.37 mg/L、单孔最高铀质量浓度390.22 mg/L、年浸采率13.39%的效果。研究结果为该矿床铀资源开发提供了技术支撑。

A sandstone-type uranium deposit in Xinjiang belongs to auspicious prospecting stage with exploration line of 200 m×200 m, low exploration degree, thin ore bed and low uranium content. In addition, there are complex hydrogeological conditions with poor permeability (permeability coefficient is only 0.045 m/d) and high pressure head. No leaching test work has been carried out in this deposit area. In order to study the leaching of uranium resources in the deposit, field leaching test was carried out by adopting neutral leaching and improving the pressure leaching technology, the results show that the average extraction volume of single hole is 1.7 m3/h, the average mass concentration of uranium in leaching solution is 40.37 mg/L, the maximum mass concentration of uranium in single hole is 390.22 mg/L, and the annual leaching recovery is 13.39%, it provides technical support for the exploitation of uranium resources in the deposit.

砂岩型铀矿床是中国主要的铀资源类型,中性地浸采铀技术是砂岩型铀矿的主要开采方法之一[1-6]。新疆某砂岩型铀矿床存在勘探程度低、矿体平面分布零散、矿体地质及水文地质条件复杂等问题。前期仅在该矿床区域开展了勘查工作,初步提交了一定资源量,但还未开展现场浸出试验。
为有效掌握该区域的铀资源变化情况和现场浸出效果,在该矿床选取2-8线区域矿体块段开展中性浸出条件试验,研究该矿床浸出效果及经济性,解决低渗透、低铀品位、水文地质情况复杂条件下的砂岩型铀矿床现场经济开采问题,旨在获得该矿床采用中性浸出工艺时的最佳浸出剂配制参数。
新疆某砂岩铀矿床赋存于西山窑组第一岩性段上亚段(J2x1)砂体中,由东向西、由南向北含矿砂体埋深逐渐变深;矿体总体上呈蛇曲状、断续状分布(图1),矿体剖面主要呈板状、卷状(图2)。主矿层分别为Ⅰ和Ⅱ矿体[7],埋藏深度为110.0~140.0 m,矿层厚度一般为1.55~10.95 m(平均厚度3.37 m),铀品位为0.017 4%~0.082 5%(平均品位0.034 5%)。
在该矿床2~8勘探线Ⅰ号矿体块段开展试验,勘探网度为200 m×100 m,矿体平均厚度为3.11 m,平均铀品位为0.028 1%。采用“CO2+O2”中性浸出工艺[8-11],研究适合该矿床的最佳地浸开采条件及浸出剂配制参数。
在试验区设计施工25个抽注液孔(“9抽16注”)和3个监测井。结合矿体平面分布特征,试验钻孔采用“五点型”布置[12-14](图3),抽注液孔间距为30 m。该区域矿体变化复杂,在试验期间,为确保抽注单元钻孔过滤器均在同一主矿层,实现抽注液孔可调功能,试验钻孔施工工艺采用“开窗式内置过滤器”结构,在所有钻孔施工结束后,根据揭露矿层剖面确定试验钻孔过滤器安装位置。由于地下水ρ(Cl-)较高(3.4 g/L),若采用传统不锈钢材质内置过滤器,会出现内置过滤器被Cl-腐蚀问题,本次试验钻孔过滤器采用U-PVC材质环形骨架。
试验区域共施工25个抽注液孔,图4为钻孔见矿平面图,图5为钻孔剖面图。根据施工钻孔揭露矿层可知,该区域矿层为1~4层矿体,矿体厚度为0.45~7.65 m,平均厚度为2.56 m;铀品位为0~0.047 2%,平均铀品位为0.021 6%(表1)。与该矿体块段相比,试验区域矿体平均矿层厚度、铀品位变化不大;矿体厚度变化较大,这主要是由于局部受沉积砂岩岩性变化而导致的。
试验区域钻孔静水位为17.1~24.4 m,平均静水位为22.27 m;含矿含水层厚度为4.72~8.96 m,平均厚度为7.25 m;井内可抽水位高度为106.7~124.9 m,平均可抽水位高度为113.7 m(表2)。含矿含水层岩性主要为细砂岩,局部含有1~3层不连续透镜状钙质胶结层。
该试验区域含矿含水层水样本底ρ(U)为0.56 mg/L;ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为258.28~394.32 mg/L,平均ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为330.77 mg/L;ρ(Ca2+)为749.52~818.92 mg/L,平均ρ(${{\mathrm{Ca}}^{2}}^{+}$)为785.88 mg/L;pH为6.38~7.31,平均为7.03。
通过现场试验,研究中性浸出工艺对该矿床的浸出效果,现场试验运行分为加氧抽注循环和“CO2+O2+NH4HCO3”浸出2个阶段。
对已施工试验钻孔的剖面岩性分析表明,铀主要分布在粒径小于0.25 mm的细砂中,占比达36%;在粗砂岩和中砂岩次之,分别占27.81%和23.67%。矿石中铀主要以吸附态和铀矿物形式赋存,两者各占约50%,矿石中U(Ⅵ)占比约为69.91%。于2022年10月15日开始试验,加氧抽注循环浸出现场试验运行11个钻孔(“3抽8注”),在浸出剂总管采用微孔曝气加氧,根据钻孔深度,利用理论计算公式[15]得出最大溶解氧为215.50 mg/L。
由于该试验区域矿层渗透性差,试验初期单孔平均抽液量为1.5 m3/h,单孔平均注液量为0.6 m3/h。由于注液孔水量较小,在浸出剂氧气加入量过高时,钻孔出现气堵现象。试验期间氧气质量浓度为150 mg/L,试验浸出结果见表3
表3可看出,试验加氧抽注循环15~31 d时,浸出液各项离子发生变化,铀质量浓度从0.56 mg/L(本底)上升至11.42 mg/L(平均),ρ(${\mathrm{SO}}_{4}^{2-}$)从3.05 g/L上升至3.25 g/L,说明浸出剂中的氧气已氧化了矿层中的黄铁矿[16]
当pH过高时,地下水溶液与Ca2+易形成CaCO3沉淀,堵塞矿层。为减缓矿层堵塞,2022年11月11日起,开展“CO2+O2+NH4HCO3”浸出试验。加入氧气质量浓度为150 mg/L,通过加入NH4HCO3溶液,控制浸出剂中ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为560~580 mg/L;采用微孔曝气在浸出剂总管补加CO2气体,控制浸出剂pH为6.6~6.8。2023年6月20日,又投入新施工的12个钻孔,试验共形成25个钻孔(“9抽16注”)。截止2023年12月31日,单孔平均抽液量为1.7 m3/h,单孔平均注液量为1.0 m3/h,浸出液平均铀质量浓度为40.37 mg/L,单孔最高铀质量浓度为106.20 mg/L,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为657.38 mg/L,pH为6.77,余氧量为8.65 mg/L,年回采率为13.39%。浸出试验结果见表4
在试验运行90 d时,浸出液平均铀质量浓度达50.24~85.41 mg/L,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)上升至550.00~600.00 mg/L,稳定运行150 d。在投入新施工的12个抽注孔(“5抽7注”)开展扩大试验时,起始浸出液铀质量浓度下降至20.13 mg/L,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)下降至442.18 mg/L。然后控制浸出剂ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)仍为550.00~580.00 mg/L,截止2023年底,浸出液铀质量浓度上升至54.90 mg/L,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为683.20 mg/L,余氧量为8.13 mg/L。试验结果见图6
当试验区域0202抽液钻孔运行210 d时,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)高达1 268.40 mg/L,铀质量浓度峰值为390.22 mg/L(图7),说明含矿层矿物碳酸盐含量高。在浸出剂加入CO2后,与碳酸盐矿物发生反应,生成含有${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$的溶液,使得浸出液中的${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$高于浸出剂中的${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$浓度;这有助于六价铀的配合,提高了浸出液铀浓度且降低了碳酸钙等碳酸盐堵塞矿层风险,稳定了钻孔运行水量。浸出液铀质量浓度随ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)的下降而下降,当稳定运行60 d时,铀质量浓度约为106.20 mg/L,ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)为768.60 mg/L,单孔平均抽液量为1.0 m3/h。
2023年扩大试验新投入运行12个抽注井后,在试验运行为185 d时,浸出液ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)达550 mg/L,但0200、0600抽液孔浸出液铀质量浓度为5.26~5.55 mg/L,一直未出现上升趋势,而单孔抽液量较大,约为2.5~3.0 m3/h(图8)。这主要是因为这2个试验单元的矿体属于翼部矿体,含矿含水层厚度较厚,且铀品位较低,对浸出剂有一定稀释作用,导致浸出液铀质量浓度较氧化还原前锋线低。
1)根据试验区域已施工的25个试验孔揭露矿层可知,矿体厚度变异系数为63.45%,矿体卷头延伸距离短,歼灭较快,翼部矿体夹层厚度较大,最大为9 m。含矿岩性为细砂岩,局部含有断续透镜状钙质胶结层。
2)针对试验区域低渗透、高水位、复杂水文地质条件,采用总管泵前虹吸加入氧气,确保了抽注液量稳定和氧气正常加入。在矿床Ⅰ号矿体采用“CO2+O2”浸出时,通过补充NH4HCO3溶液控制浸出剂ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)在560~580 mg/L,浸出液平均ρ(${\mathrm{HCO}}_{3}^{-}$)可达657.38 mg/L,单孔最高达1 268.40 mg/L;浸出液平均铀质量浓度为40.37 mg/L,单孔最高为390.22 mg/L;单孔平均抽液量为1.7 m3/h,浸出效果较好,且维持了抽注系统稳定运行。
