In the paper, the influence factors for basicity stability ratio of sinters of Baotou Steel are found out and the corresponding solutions are studied by optimizing the sintering parameters and blending process with the raw material condition of Baotou Steel. Based on the structure of ore blending and chemical composition for sintering as well as the analysis of theoretical calculation, the main influence factors for basicity stability ratio and acceptance rate of sinters were the fluctuations of burden yield of quicklime, CaO in iron ore H and SiO₂ in iron ore W. As a result, they were increased by 10.26 and 3.39 percentage points respectively by such measures as strengthening the quality supervision of quicklime, improving batching equipment and intensifying nutrilization and homogeneous mixing of iron ore.
