The chemical pickling is intended to be used for iron concentrate slurry pipeline descaling, but it may cause the pipeline leakage. In the paper, the type, concentration, reaction time and the influence degree on iron concentrate slurry pipeline of acid were determined through the scale quality analysis, scale dissolution experiment, experiment for test block of pipeline material, weld experiment and tube test. The experimental results showed that the hydrochloric acid pickling was safe.
