The quality and effects of controlled blasting at bank near slope of Baiyunebo Iron Mine are analyzed with the variance analysis of probability theory and orthogonal experimental design as well as the parameters of blasting hole pattern are further optimized. As a result, the frequency of blasting test has been reduced and the blasting effects are good, which provide the safe and reliable data for the subsequent controlled blasting with similar engineering geological conditions.
