The SULTAN series of high-energy sound wave level meter can penetrate dust, steam, foam or other interference objects, and its measurement can be continuous, accurate and stable under the harsh condition of coking. In the paper, its application in rare earth steel coking project of Baotou Steel is introduced, and the energy loss in acoustic wave propagation can be reduced and the intensity of reflected echo can be ensured by applying low frequency technology. Advanced echo processing technology and unique low-frequency processing technology making it has a strong ability to identify the echo, which can greatly improve the accuracy of scene level detection, reduce the accident rate of automatic control operation and ensure the normal production.
