The 20Mn2A hot rolled wire rod for round-link chain is trial-produced with such equipment as the 100 converter, LF refining, continuous casting with billet and Morgan's fifth-generation high-speed wire rod mill as well as combining with narrow composition control of C and Mn, formulating reasonable controlled rolling and cooling process. The results showed that the performance indexes of product could meet the requirements of standard and technical agreement so that using effect was better.
