In this paper, the possible main faults of gas chromatograph in the experimental operation process from inlet system of gas path to temperature system and then to sampling system are introduced as well as the corresponding solutions are put forward. Normally, the leakage test method is applied to solve such problem as the leakage in gas path system; the internal electric circuit problems in temperature system are solved by replacing components; different kinds of faults in sampling system could be judged, analyzed and solved with the sequential exclusion method.
