In this paper, the effects of adding rare earth into A572.Gr65 steel on its inclusions, microstructure and properties were studied with industrial experiments. The results showed that the inclusions in steel were mainly Al₂O₃ and Al₂O₃-CaO before add the rare earth and the size was about 5 μm as well as the inclusions were changed to spherical RE₂O₂S with the size less than 2 μm after add the rare earth. The thermodynamic and dynamics calculations showed that RE₂O₂S was the most easily formed inclusion in steel after add rare earth as well as the diffusion rate of RE³⁺ and Al³⁺ in the intermediate layer of RE₂O₂S·Al₂O₃ was the restrictive link of modified rare earth inclusions. After add the rare earth, the microstructure of hot rolled plate was refined as well as the impact and tensile properties were increased with the increase of rare earth content.

文章通过工业实验研究了向A572.Gr65钢中加入稀土后对其夹杂物、组织和性能的影响。结果表明，加入稀土之前，钢中夹杂物主要是Al₂O₃和Al₂O₃-CaO，尺寸约为5 μm左右，加入稀土之后，夹杂物变成不足2 μm的球状RE₂O₂S夹杂物。并且通过热力学、动力学计算表明，添加稀土之后，钢中最容易生成的夹杂物是RE₂O₂S，而RE³⁺和Al³⁺在RE₂O₂S·Al₂O₃中间层中的扩散速率为稀土变质夹杂物的限制性环节。加入稀土后，热轧板微观组织有所细化；冲击和拉伸性能随稀土含量的增加而提高。
