In the paper, the high temperature plasticity of 15MnNbV was tested with MMS-200 thermal simulated test machine. The results showed that the reduction of area of 15MnNbV at 900 ℃ was only 26%, temperature of round billet entering straightening segment was about 900 ℃ during continuous casting, with the stress of straightening roll, there was easily to be microcracks on the surface of round billet, especially the Ф430 mm round billet causing wall scale on outside surface of steel tube. The composition of 15MnNbV was adjusted through analyzing the influencing factors for high temperature plasticity of steel and characteristics of precipitation for niobium and vanadium in steel. After that, the reduction of area of 15MnNbV at 900 ℃ reached 88%, surface quality of round billet was improved and wall scale on outside surface of steel tube was eliminated.

文章采用MMS-200型热力模拟试验机测试了15MnNbV的高温塑性，结果表明15MnNbV在900℃时，面缩率仅为26%，连铸时圆坯在进入矫直段时的温度在900℃左右，在矫直棍的应力作用下，圆坯特别是Ф430 mm圆坯表面容易产生微裂纹，造成钢管出现外表面结疤。通过研究分析钢的高温塑性影响因素及铌钒在钢中的析出特点，对15MnNbV的成分做出调整，调整后，15MnNbV在900℃时的面缩率达到88%，圆坯表面质量得到改善，钢管外表面结疤消除。
