For the production line of comprehensive utilization of oxidized ore resources in Bayan Obo, iron and rare earth separations are carried out after two-stage closed-circuit grinding of raw ore as well as fluorite separation is carried out when rare earth tailings are ground to the proportion of particle size<30 μm is over 70%. The multistage grinding causes significant increase of mechanical secondary slime as well as electrostatic repulsion between fine slime particles is strengthened so as to inhibit sedimentation when circulating wastewater is with alkalescence by adding a large amount of sodium silicate and foaming agent during beneficiation process, the silica sol generated by sodium silicate is absorbed on the surface of fine slime particles so as to form coating layer. As a result, the hydrophobic property of particle surface is reduced and affinity of it and water is enhanced so that fine slime particles are more dispersed and stable as well as the content of suspended solids (SS) in water reaches over 5 000 mg/L. The beneficiation wastewater is treated with the process of magnetic coagulating sedimentation-stirring-flocculation-stirring as well as the content of SS in wastewater is reduced to 69 mg/L and pH value is basically unchanged. The flotation test is carried out for circulating wastewater after treatment, it is better for circulating wastewater after treatment to improve the grade and metal recovery rate of iron, rare earth and fluorite than those for circulating wastewater without treatment as well as the dosage of reagents in every link is significantly reduced.

白云鄂博氧化矿资源综合利用生产线，原矿经两段闭路磨矿后进行选铁、稀土，稀土尾矿磨至<30 μm占70%以上粒度时进行萤石选别。多段磨矿导致机械次生矿泥显著增加，同时选别过程加入大量的水玻璃、起泡剂，循环废水在弱碱性的状态下，加强了细泥颗粒间的静电斥力，抑制沉降，且水玻璃产生的硅酸溶胶吸附在细泥颗粒表面，形成包裹层，降低颗粒表面疏水性，增强其与水的亲和力，使细泥颗粒更加分散和稳定，水中悬浮物含量（SS）高达5 000 mg/L以上。采用磁混凝沉降-搅拌-絮凝-搅拌的工艺进行选矿废水处理，处理后废水中悬浮物含量降低到69 mg/L，pH值基本未发生变化，处理后的循环废水进行浮选套试，在铁、稀土、萤石的品位提高和金属回收率提高方面均优于未处理循环废水，且显著降低各环节药剂用量。
