In this paper, the content of FeO in sinter is determined with pressed power pellet-X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The method for determining content of FeO in sinter with X-ray fluorescence spectrometer is established with diffraction channel configured by Simultix 15 X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The detection range of the method is 5.88%~13.00% and linearly dependent coefficient of the calibration curve established could reach 0.999. The detection speed is fast and analysis results are accurate with this method, which could replace classical wet chemical method to analyze the FeO in sinter on site.
