The failure of belt deviation for belt conveyor happens occasionally and it is more harmful. On the one hand, it causes accelerated wear of belt so that service life of belt is reduced and equipment costs are increased; on the other hand, it also easily causes such accidents as tearing and breakage of belt. In the paper, the causes of belt deviation for belt conveyor are found out through analyzing the force conditions of belt at the position of components of belt conveyor contacting with belt as well as corresponding adjustment measures are formulated to prevent and dispose the failure of belt deviation in time so that the above accidents of belt conveyor caused by belt deviation are avoided. Moreover, the on-site sprinkling of materials and operation burden of operating personnel are reduced to guarantee the efficient and eco-friendly productions of enterprise.

皮带机胶带跑偏故障时有发生，危害较大，一方面，皮带跑偏造成胶带磨损加速，降低胶带使用寿命，增加设备费用支出，增加生产成本；另外，皮带跑偏也容易造成事故，如胶带撕裂、拉断等。文章通过对皮带机组件与胶带接触处胶带受力情况的分析，找出皮带机胶带跑偏原因，并制定相应调整措施，预防和及时处理胶带跑偏故障，避免上述皮带机由于胶带跑偏造成的事故，同时，减少现场物料洒落，减轻操作人员作业负担、保证企业高效环保生产。
