The niobium element in sample is determined with X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and spectrophotometry respectively. The analytical results of the two methods are consistent with standard and reference values as well as the relative standard deviation (RSD) of ten times of determinations is smaller than 10%. The results of analysis and detection with X-ray fluorescence spectrometer is as three times as that with spectrophotometry so that the analysis cost is greatly reduced. Therefore, the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry is more suitable for current production analysis of company.
