In this paper, it is introduced the experiment of intensifying sintering by replacing part of coke powder with natural gas using sinter pot carried out in the laboratory by taking natural gas as the object of study. The study results showed that the yield of sinter, drum strength, solid fuel consumption, reducibility of sinter, low-temperature reduction degradation index and microstructure of sinter were optimum when the jet time of natural gas was 15 min and adding proportion of heat was 25%.
