In this paper, it is mainly elaborated the experimental study of W ore fines with the condition of sintering iron charge of Baotou Steel. The results showed that it was beneficial for increasing grade of sinter, reducing content of harmful ingredients, P and Al₂O₃, increasing sinter product ratio, reducing fuel consumption and increasing drum strength of sinter so that its reducibility is improved by replacing F ore fines with W ore fines. However, because the particle size of W ore fines is larger than that of F ore fines, the vertical sintering speed will increase and the sintering rate will decrease. The moisture of mixture needs to be reduced to stabilize the vertical sintering speed.

文章主要阐述了W粉矿在包钢烧结铁料条件下的试验研究。研究结果表明，用W粉矿替代F粉矿有利于提高烧结矿品位，降低烧结矿有害成分P、Al₂O₃的含量；有利于提高烧结成品率，降低燃耗及提高烧结矿的转鼓强度，改善其还原性。但由于W粉矿粒度比F粉矿粗，会使烧结过程垂速升高，烧成率降低，为了稳定垂直烧结速度，需适当降低混合料水分。
