The detection study on low temperature impact fracture and microstructure of BT100H sleeving steel with Zeiss Axio Obserevr D1m metallographic microscope and EVO 50HV scanning electron microscope is introduced. The research showed that the low temperature impact toughness, especially the transverse impact toughness of material was improved by rare earth as well as the rare earth also was with a certain function of refining microstructure.
