Morphology and composition of red scale defects on hot rolled DP600 surface produced in 2 250 mm hot rolling production line are tested and analyzed. High contents of Si makes it difficult to remove FeO and residual FeO is pressed into matrix, which is the main reason for red scale defects. The industrial test results show that adding phosphorus microelement, reducing heating time of billet and shortly staying at temperature before phosphorus removal machine can significantly reduce red scale and improve surface quality.

针对包钢2 250 mm热连轧生产线热轧DP600的表面红色氧化物缺陷，进行了缺陷形貌、成分的检测和分析。Si含量高容易引起FeO难以去除，残留的FeO的在轧制过程中压入基体，是造成氧化物缺陷的主要原因。工业试验结果表明，采用加入微量磷元素、减少钢坯的加热时间、除磷机前短暂待温等措施，可明显减少红色氧化物，改善表面质量。
