In the paper, based on the engineering geological conditions and mining scheme of E zone, the three-dimensional geological model is established for slope of E zone. Using FLAC3D finite difference software, numerical simulation is done for the whole process of excavation from the original surface to the 1 230 m platform of pit bottom. It is analyzed from three aspects of stress field, displacement field and plastic zone, so as to predict the stability and stability development situation for slope of E zone during the process of continuous excavation to the pit bottom, which provides a more reasonable basis of the precaution and the design of treatment scheme for the lower excavation slope.
