The bench deep-hole blasting is the main measure for open-pit mining. The blasting quality directly influences whether the subsequent mining, loading and the whole production technologies could be smooth, which is vital for completing the production and capital consumption. In the paper, the methods for reducing big rocks of blasting are discussed combining with the actual situations of productions in the East Stope of Baiyunebo Iron Mine to contribute ideas and exert efforts for reducing costs and increasing benefits.
