In the paper, the operation of blast furnace TRT generator unit when starting and reaching rated speed is in good condition, however the vibration of stator and bearing pedestal seriously exceeds the standard after grid-connected power generation. The vibration reason is analyzed by frequency spectrum, and the processing process is described in detail. The vibration characteristics of stator and rotor after inter-turn short circuit fault, the method of detecting inter-turn short circuit fault and the treatment process of rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault are summarized.
