In the paper, it is analyzed the causes for the phenomenon of explosion whistle aiming at four 7 m coke ovens in rare earth steel coking department of Baotou Steel Coking Plant when coal charging, and the main factors causing explosion whistle of coal charging are obtained. According to the coal charging process flow and equipment features of 7 m coke oven, the solving method is put forward, which effectively controls the occurrence of explosion whistle of coal charging.
