In the paper, usage amount ratio of desulfurizer and stirring time of desulfurization are studied in the process of KR desulfurization for pretreatment of hot metal, and on the basis of reducing 30% desulfurizer addition amount in the original design, while extending the stirring time 3~6 min, which can improve the utilization of desulfurizer, achieve desulfurization with low cost, thereby reducing the cost of raw material consumption.
