The smelting of high Cr alloy steel has always been the difficulty of converter smelting. During the smelting of high Cr alloy steel in Steel-melting Plant of Baotou Steel, converter bottom blowing system is optimized through adjusting the converter loading system as well as the remaining slag double slag process and so on. The results show that the optimization of bottom blowing system ensures the melting for a large number of alloys during the tapping process and reduces the carbon and oxygen concentration product, and provides a basis for smooth smelting, solving the problem of high alloy smelting.

高铬合金钢的冶炼一直是转炉冶炼的难点，包钢炼钢厂在冶炼高Cr合金钢时，通过采取调整转炉装入制度以及留渣双渣法等方式，并同时对转炉底吹进行优化。研究结果表明，底吹制度的优化保证了出钢过程大量合金的熔化，降低碳氧浓度积，为冶炼顺行提供了基础，解决了高合金冶炼的难题。
