In order to meet the demand of automobile industry and home appliance industry for ultra low carbon steel deep drawing performance, expand the varieties and improve the quality of steel products, make technical reserves for development and trail production of ultra deep drawing steel in cold rolling production line, Inner Mongolia Rare Earth Steel Plate Co. of Baotou Steel is developing and trail producing hot rolling material of ultra deep drawing steel DC04. By adding alloying element Ti, the interstitial atom content can be controlled to make the steel pure. Using high temperature finish rolling and coiling process to control the precipitation and solid solution of carbides, the deep drawing raw materials with low yield strength and low yield ratio can be obtained to meet the requirements of the downstream process.
