In the paper, it is expounded the influence of the control points for steelmaking raw and auxiliary materials, converter smelting, ladle refining and continuous casting process on the cleanliness of SWRH82B steel, which based on the steelmaking production practice of SWRH82B using billet process of Baotou Steel. Through practice shows that this technology can improve the steel cleanliness of SWRH82B high-carbon hard wire steel and meet the drawing requirements of users.
