Ganoderma leucocontextum is an edible and medicinal fungus with significant scientific and economic values. In recent years, important progress has been made in the research on the biological characteristics, artificial cultivation, and bioactive components of G. leucocontextum. This paper provides a systematic review of the morphological characteristics and molecular identification methods for the species of G. leucocontextum. In terms of the biological properties and cultivation techniques, the influence of various environmental conditions such as temperature, pH, and carbon/nitrogen sources on the development of mycelia and fruiting bodies were discussed along with comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different cultivation modes, and exploring the culture substrate optimization, high-yield strain breeding, and microbial mediation of continuous cropping obstacles as well. At the genetic and multi-omics levels, it was outlined as to the characteristics of its whole genome and mitochondrial genome, the analysis of mating-type loci, and the application of metabolomics in species identification and functional component differentiation of G. leucocontextum. The extraction and purification processes, chemical structures, biological activities, and mechanisms of the major bioactive compounds such as triterpenoids and polysaccharides were elaborated, including functions in hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, antitumor, and neuroprotective effects. Finally, the current challenges in research and industrial development as well as the future prospects were addressed. This review provides a scientific basis for further development and industrial application.

白肉灵芝（Ganoderma leucocontextum）是一种具有重要科研与经济价值的食药用菌，近年来在生物学特性、人工栽培及活性成分研究方面取得了重要进展。本文系统综述了白肉灵芝的形态特征及分子鉴定方法；在生物学特性以及栽培技术方面，介绍了温度、pH值、碳氮源等环境条件对菌丝和子实体发育的影响，以及不同栽培模式的优缺点，探讨了培养基质优化、高产菌株选育及连作障碍的微生物调控方法；在遗传与多组学层面，概述了其全基因组与线粒体基因组特征、交配型位点解析以及代谢组学在物种鉴别和功能成分差异分析中的应用；阐述了三萜类和多糖类等主要活性物质化合物的提取纯化工艺、化学结构、生物活性以及降血糖、降血脂、抗肿瘤、神经保护等功能的作用机制。最后，提出了目前白肉灵芝研究和产业发展中面临的问题及对未来的展望，为后续白肉灵芝的深度开发和产业化应用提供参考。
